Have you read the terms of the host website createaforum?
Presumably they have a set of rules that this forum must follow,
as I would imagine that they are ultimately responsible for the
content of MT Lives and by the same token presumably they have a
set of ground rules that this forum must stick to.
Unfortunately (depending on how you look at it) that means the
mods will have to be heavy handed in some instances, as
presumably long before the threat of legal action from a pissed
off third party there is the much more likely threat of this
board being shut down by the host website.
Fortunately I'm not a mod, so it's not my problem!
Good job setting up the forum! It looks great!

Yes, I read them in the same way that most of us read T&C's
unfortunately, must go back and read them again,
You are correct, this may well lead to situations where the Mods
are being 'heavy handed', but as you suggest, our hands are
somewhat tied in this respect.

In a way I think that'll make your life easier as enforcing the
rules of the broader site is easier than setting and enforcing
the rules of your own!
