5g has launched in the UK today. I don’t know much about it but
it seems like we’re taking one step closer to the singularity
and the end! Machines starting to talk to machines without much
human intervention.

Keep seeing how machine and robots will replace us, which always
makes me think of the bigger picture.
Machines do everything so humans aren’t needed. So are robots
going to make things that other robots will buy? After all
theres no jobs for humans to earn cash so they cant buy
anything. Which makes you think. What really is the point of
life and us being here since its all just a manufactured game?

Well, we've had robots for years in places like the car industry
and most factories nowadays.
I think it will come to a point where laws are passed on what
robots can and can't do. Drones are in effect robots and do much
killing in war nowadays, at least by Western powers. It won't be
too long when robots will replace the front line soldiers as
they'll be fearless, probably never miss with their weapons,
have total stamina, never have to be fed or rest and don't need
paying or require a pension. The military is the leading edge in
robots and AI at the moment.

I'd wager whoever controls them will insert a built in mechanism
where they can shut them down.
Unless they build AI which may well learn to disable it.
Then you're right. We're fcuked.

A friend of mine, who is someone who lives a very off the grid
life, (Except his constant Facebook posting) is on the bandwagon
of 5G causing cancer (Doesn’t everything).
I guess as I work in IT I should really do some research haha.

Has it been around long enough to cause cancer? I guess theres
no avoiding it. You dont need to get it but if your neighbour
does, you’re fecked regardless

It's to do with the frequency being much higher into the
microwave spectrum. Quite worrying actually

He’s been banging on about how mobile phones are dangerous for
us, and how WiFi is bombarding is 24/7 and killing our brains.
He lives in a shed on a lake in Spain and uses old school
broadband to access the net. He also has some condition that I
can’t recall the name (EMS maybe?), but ultimately he is
allergic to the radio waves from mobile devices etc.
He also loves smoking weed.
I do find him a very interesting guy haha.

I read about a experiment where Facebook had 2 computers talking
to each other they had to shut it down as suddenly these
computers were communicating in a language no one understood.
FFS the more technological advanced we get the more dangerous we
become to ourselves
