... just imagining sitting here at home now why I would suddenly
get the urge to post something so pointlessly antagonistic to
someone I don't know for no other reason than to try and trigger
a heated response. I mean, I'd even considering sitting thru
Corry with the Mrs as a better use of my time and energy.

If they had the tech back then to get to the moon then they have
have had a long time to study it and improve upon it.
This does not seem to be the case IMO.
I still dont think they can do it today. Way way more complex
than the shuttle missions and shed loads that can go wrong.
Yet they pulled the trick off many times with no loss of life
(in missions).
What are the chances?

Exactly, They always say things like, in the future it'll be
cheaper as tech improves. Landing on the moon should be the cost
of an easy jet flight by now.

never thought I would see the day where you agreed with anyone
on anything , fair play!
Seriously though I do follow a lot of good scientists who
believe we went there , have a lot of data to back it up but
they do seem to be parrots of the official NASA lines . Neil
de Grasse Tyson and Sciman Dan are great to listen to and funny
debunking flat earth so its hard to listen to them just
debunking the easy bits and glossing over some of the video
footage , obviously there are so many idiotic conspiracy
theories around the moon landing so its easy picking for them to
debunk these , are we nuts for being skeptical ?
This wasn't just a scientific race , it was also a
political/propoganda race .
If they admitted that some of the video footage was faked id be
more likely to believe we went .

Russia intends to be there in 2040. Their a bit behind. Thats a
truly enormous amount of tech improvements over the years, yet
still another 20 years from now.
