Using dandelion root pre contest

How do you guys/gals use dandelion root or other natural
diuretics pre contest do you take day before/morning of show ?
Or the week leading upto a show ?

I dont anymore
after 20 years of competing using all sorts of natural water
tablets/dandelion root, alcohol , then aldactone and other
diuretics i've found that if you want to be very flat and
stringy and lack fullness then they really do the job .
My best results have always been to not cut water or take
anything that makes you pee. If you want your skin tight then
you need your muscles to be full and that needs water.
you spend a good period of time loading up with carbs and fluid
, the last thing you want to do is pee it all out .
If i spilled over I would consider them as a last resort .
If i was a boxer/fighter who wanted to make a certain weight I
would also consider them, but as a BBer I think they are a
massive negative.

Totally agree with doc!! The old method used to think you needed
to cut water down to less that half a litre a day for the last
week, use diuretics etc etc. But to be full the muscles need
the glycogen and with that the water to be full and tighten the
skin. Get yourself into condition a month early and experiment.
You'll find the best method that your body will respond to.
