Cheers mate, yep 14 stone has been a target for a while
especially after weight loss in march when was ill. Knee - not
100% happy with it as is swelling at back of knee day after
squats and does ache/get niggly still. But weirdly enough never
when squatting - no issue.pain when training. Still working with
physio and specialist and they are happy with progress so keep
on as I am basically as this will be a long term rehab.

Strongman show was fantastic Saturday - crowd was amazing
throughout and athletes did superb. New world record from mark
felix on the hercules hold and then seeing Bill Kaz and mag v
mag come out of retirement for a one off hercules hold was
awesome. Top deadlift of the night was 455kg, Jerry Pritchett
attempted 467.5 which would of been 2nd heaviest lift of all
time but he tweaked hammy again on 420 so took an extra warmup
lift and f*cked him. Top 3 placing of kilikowski, pritchett and
licis. Great day out and booking tickets for the euro's in leeds
next april.
Onto the main thing...
BW 89.9kg PWO
Deadlift
20 x 8

AMRAP 180 x 3
AMRAP 180 x 1

Tough session today - the 205 attempt my ships shifted slightly
when driving up so bar swang upon initial ascent really had to
fight to control bar and keep moving up. Was a good gring tbh
and good practise on it but a cleaner drive up would of been a
smoother lift. Lower back quite tight after so decreased my
assistance work to avoid tweaking it - dropped deadlift rows &
chest supported rows. Shoudl mention the smelling salts have
lost their kick - didnt realise till today was seeing if they
will get me fired up/more aggressive as I dont think im
aggressive enough still upon bar approach. Will order new
smelling salts soon.

Happy training all and will get to journals later in week

That's a slightly un-nerving shift to the side. Could be a
weakness from the injury rearing up at heavy loads perhaps but
I'd keep an eye on when that creeps in and try to avoid it.
What salts do you use, I miss mine bu used to use McKenzies
which aren't produced anymore. I think Torque for what I do now
would be overkill
