       Peak Week...
       Deadlift
       20 x 8
       60 x 5
       100 x 3
       140 x 3
       180 x 1
       200 x 1
       215 x F
       180 x 4 AMRAP
       RDL
       100 x 10
       100 x 10
       100 x 10
       Deadlift Row
       100 x 6
       100 x 6
       100 x 6
       Suitcase Deads
       70 x 6 per arm
       70 x 6 per arm
       70 x 6 per arm
I am absolutely gutted. Deads were moving perfect - I was
confident and calm, well fed and rested, more tired then id like
but thats having a young one and hayfever assualting my eyes.
The 180 was a speed rep it went up so fast, 200 was smooth and
fast. 215 got midshin and just couldnt keep the momentum going,
traps and neck were pulling/straining but just would not go
higher. Im sulking at the moment but its not far away and next
attempt at that I want to smash it, week off will no doubt do me
good and then start new programme with Ox. Rest of session was
very good must say - strong reps and ended on a good note 3 sets
of 70 for deadlifts which hadnt done before.
Vids on IG although I will try and post here later as well.
Will get round to your journals later today/tomorrow.
       Tomorrow bench...

Don't sweat it mate, that was a great session. Sounds to me if
you had a stronger brace you would have got that rep.

Deadlifts can be a cruel mistress at times (Yes, I stole that
       line of Animal lol)
You made up for it with the 180 for 4 after though. Enjoy your
       hols.

Dead weight lifting can be a bitch at times. Recharge those
batteries and get a fresh plan of attack sorted and it sounds
like that will no problems soon enough

I've checked out the video now and I retract my statement about
the brace, it was too low for that. Obviously your coach is
king but it looks to me like you would benefit from pointing
your toes out a bit (or heels in if you prefer). It would
reduce the moment arm at your lower back as your shins would not
protrude as far (probably about an half an inch to an inch).

Bloody true as well. I can t even say mentally I was beaten
before I attempted as I have been previously - I was ready and
confident. I think setup was just slightly off which killed it.
Prob doesn't help that the bars are cheap and cheerful ones but
that's just me looking for an excuse - I need to get this at
       comp!
