Mate why are you to max effort on squat so soon? Failing a rep
is sacrilege. It means either programming is wrong, rest and
nutrition is out or your greedy! You don’t need to squat big for
a while yet.. play the sensible long game!

Looking forward to the build up mate. 500kg looks very doable if
you stick yo the plan and not max out :-)

Me and ox are working out where my actual squat weight is at the
moment in order to set a goal for new peaking plan starting in
few weeks for August comp. With the knee trouble and then
switching back to sleeves the programme I was on has been
heaviliy disupted and we have been going week by week. All
approved/signed off by Ox though mate - im not going rogue.

500-510 is my goal so fingers crossed! Max and max attempts ares
part of the plan don't worry - if that felt good then would of
been an increase next week but will discuss with Ox and plan
accordingly.

Working on trying to rep perfectly each set and no issues with

hoping to continue the positive progress/improvement he reports
on each session. The massage though will not be pleasant but
needed.

Enjoy the massage if that’s possible in a twisted kind of way.
All looking positive and going according to plan.
Oh, no hangover means you weren’t even trying.

Alcohol ruins me, deload or no I would be good for nothing.
Good to see you're making the most of this though and hammering
technique, that stuff pays off in the end.

Massages that leave you battered are the best ones, the relief
when they are over and the fact that they actually do something
in terms of healing/recovery are a great feeling
