Youtube accounts you follow

Just discovered this fella and have disappeared down the rabbit
hole.
He goes round all the Soviet states (so far anyway). Amazing the
way some people live, and so different from us in many places.
In many ways they probably prefer it, there’s certainly much
more of a sense of community in most of them.

I don't really follow any. I love Bball so follow watch a fair
few of the analysis shows ESPN put up and some channels that
replay old games from the 90s (basketball gold that)
Should really investigate some of the channels that are out
there now

John Meadows put out some cracking content. I’ve watched and
read a lot of different stuff over the years and his info has
always been bang on especially for hypertrophy training and
pre/intra /post nutrition.
I love watching the old Lee Priest vids where he answers
questions about various things. Such a funny no bullsh!t bloke

I really like YouTube now, rather than watching random rubbish
on TV I much prefer to just leave YouTube running on autoplay.
Also during Cardio I think it's a Godsend.
For training stuff, I follow -
Brian Shaw
Eddie Hall
Garage gym Reviews
Martins Licis
For Cycling I like -
Sam Pilgrim
Seth's bike hacks
Singletack sampler
Skills with Phil
Kev Central
Tech -
Lew Later
Linus Tech Tips
8 bit guy
A few others I can't remember...
General entertainment/interesting stuff
Lbc
Talk radio
JPW
Louder with crowder
Diet/diabetes
Eric Berger
Thomas delauer
Headbangers kitchen
High falutin low carb
....and numerous other smaller channels that have caught my eye
Up till a few years ago I didn't see the need to subscribe to
anything, but I love the way it works, you end up with
essentially a TV channel that always has something to interest
you, love it.

^^ that is why I feel I need to get in to how it all works more
and find more things I like.
My son is glued to YT, don't think he's actually watched a
regular TV channel/programme for about 5 years now LOL

^^ I’m the same. Genuinely swithering on cancelling my tv
licence because of it.

That's this generation for you. My girls (that were a little
older) it was like their lives revolved around having TV in
their room, When we had Sky, and I got them multiroom they were
over the moon.
Fastforward to my Son, we no longer had sky, and I was
struggling to set up even an aerial connection for his room, but
he didn't care. I thought "wow, that's decent of him", and set
him up catch up services on his Xbox/PC. But he never, ever
uses them.
I wonder if the likes of the BBC etc realise quite how redundant
they may become?
Social media has become that fastest news source, and while you
can easily fall into an echo chamber by using it as such, the
only difference between Social Media news, and conventional news
sources, is that you actually get to choose WHICH echo chamber
your fall into! ... or at least some hope of maintaining a
little balance.

We'll probably never know but it would be fascinating to know
how they look back and reminisce on their lives in 30 years
time.... they don't all hang out together, they can't all be
watching the same things as there is soooo many different things
they can watch. So in their 40s they'll all be chatting about
their youth but the only thing they'll have in common is sitting
in their dark, sweaty bedrooms, headphones on, playing Titan
Fall with people they have still probably never met.
In fact, the stories they are sharing will probably be done sat
on their own talking to someone 6000 miles away rather than all
sat in a bar (says me sitting on the sofa on my own typing away
LOL)
