Strike Back - Am I turning into Mary Whitehouse?

I am on the last episode of Season Two, To be honest I though
Series one was much better, I am hoping it will pick up in later
series.
..But did anyone else feel they could get a similar experience
by just watching porn and stopping every 10 minutes to play a
bit of Call of Duty?
I am not a prude, I like to look at naked women as much as the
next guy, but we are not talking about the occasional pair of
tits, this is actual f****g, at least 2/3 times every bloody
episode. I suppose its great if you are 14 and haven't worked
out how to find porn on the internet yet, but for me this is
just spoiling what seems like a pretty good series.
Should I write to Points of View?

I felt the same about 'Power' on Netflix... gave up on it in the
end because I used to watch it at the gym.

It seems like a lot of shows now like to shock or remove so
called barriers by showing lots of seemingly pointless
rauchiness.

The sex scenes get less in strike back and Power as the series
progress.
Simple age old reason. Sex sells.
Similarly every half decent series these days heavily involves
drugs and the glorification of the whole ‘scene’.

I pretty much agree with u. The amount of times I’m watching
aomething and u need to be on your guard if its daytime and the
blinds are open lol.
Sons Of anarchy feckin sickened me with all the needless prison
rape every other episode near the end. I maintain nobody wants
to see that ****

Glad it's not just me then ;D
I get that some of the time its conclusive to the storyline that
two characters have sex, but surely all we need is to see them
"setting the scene", whereas this show insists on make a big
deal over the moment of penetration, and then not breaking the
scene until its all done.
Too much information.

At least we no longer have to watch shows like that in front of
our parents... we can now embarrass our own kids instead

On the flip side you have shows that take it too slow. Like
Lucifer... they've spent three seasons teasing with the main two
characters and sometimes you think 'FFS just shag already and
lets move on with the main *more interesting* storyline'
Maybe I'm getting old too lol
