WSM 2019 - spoiler alert!

So this year it was Martins Licis' turn to take the top spot. I
always said he would be the winner soon after seeing his first
appearance in 2016, the blokes an absolute machine, his speed
and mobility definitely puts him at an advantage. Nice to see
the Stoltman bro's doing well too (5th and 7th).
Apparently there were a lot of injuries this year.

Martins is a beast, so good in so many areas. I knew he'd win it
one day but didn't think he'd win so soon. Let's be honest
though, the injury to Thor did him a huge favour.

Why is this broadcast so late in the year. Years ago when the
internet was still young this type of thing wasn't leaked. I'm
fine with finding out.

Injury always takes out someone who would have been tough to
beat though, this time its was Thors turn to be injured. But
considering he injured himself after the first round (I think),
and still came third, kinda tells us that he would have likely
been top spot without injury.

Yes it is annoying that we have to wait so long to watch it, its
the highlight of christmas for me lol. I don't mind finding out
early though, if you have an interest in it there's no way you
will be able to avoid finding out, so you might as well just
find out and be done with. Still good to watch 6 months later.

Same with Eddie Hall in 2016 mate, he dislocated his fingers in
the first event of the final and still came third.

The whole thing was released last year on youtube. Problem was
it wasn’t condensed down so was hours long. I think it was an
official release though. Theres a lot of stuff on already. The
days of them hiding the result until December are long gone.

Great to see Strongman being so competitive lately, and well
done Martins, although I was hoping for a Shaw comeback.
Tin foil hat time though ;)
I wish I had placed a bet now, After Last years TV broadcast I
posted something on facebook predicting that Licis would be this
years winner! (Can't bloody find it though :( ) , Not because of
his performance, but because the TV production was so focused
around Licis and his Wife/Girlfriend! I joked that this was the
production company setting up their next USA Champ... wish I
could find the damned post now :D
