       Farewell to Matt

       I have just learned that Matt, one of the original members of
       this board, was fatally injured when hit by a car in January. He
       was only 42. My belated condolences to his family and friends.
       I found this obituary notice about him. In spite of MS, he had a
       Ph.D. in linguistics and was studying the Inuit language:
