Page view counts here aren't always giving the true picture. You
can open a thread to read its posts but that page view won't be
counted.
It's no big deal really but it does mean that I have no idea how
many people are reading what threads. I would like to know
because a thread that has many views might be a topic that
deserves more investigating, more information.
This board could use more readers, probably.
I don't care if people choose not to post and just want to read
but it's discouraging to keep posting information that I think
might be useful when nobody seems to be getting that information
here.
I'm always looking for ways of attracting more readers.
Promoting this board on other MS message boards is definitely
not something I'd do or have ever done. I do put the URL for
this board in my Profile whenever possible, though.
One way to advertise or promote a message board is to spend
money but I draw the line there. I'm determined to keep this
place free.
Many people with MS are so financially strapped that even a
computer is a great luxury for them. They can't be asked to part
with more dollars just to keep a message board going.
If anyone has any suggestions for ways to attract more readers,
I would appreciate knowing about them. Thank you!
