Why you shouldn't put off getting hearing aids (Consumer
Reports)

This article stresses the importance of getting hearing aids
sooner rather than later. I've worn hearing aids for over 20
years and am very glad that I didn't wait any longer than I did.
I had had impaired hearing since my early 40s, about the time
when MS came along, and apparently MS can affect hearing, at
least in some people.
The best advice I've had in connection with hearing aids was
being told not to expect perfection. They will never be able to
duplicate naturally perfect hearing. But they are valuable aids.
