       My impression is that doctors don't communicate with one another
       nearly enough when it comes to coordinating a patient's care.
       Maybe it's because each doctor is an independent businessperson
       and might feel reluctant to compare notes with other doctors who
       might be seen as competitors. This article indicates that MS
       researchers aren't communicating with one another or trying to
       combine their efforts, either.
