       Articles where it is assumed that a patient has a family who are
       willing and able to care for them, or at least about them, are
       very common, unfortunately. I have known all too many people
       with neurological disorders (as well as other disabling
       conditions) who have absolutely nobody in their corner.
       It would be helpful if researchers and the authors of
       health-related articles would take these people's needs into
       account more often.
