       NMSS says 1 million people in US now living with MS

       This statement appeared in a recent fund-raising appeal from the
       National MS Society and might be surprising:

       Today, nearly 1 million people in the United States are living
       with MS — more than double previous

       The last estimate I know of (from some years ago) was 400,000.
