EHRs (electronic health records) have real advantages. The
patient has access to lab results, often before the doctor has
time to review them, but seeing many "abnormal" flags can be
disconcerting, to put it mildly, for most patients, who don't
realize that there are "abnormal" results that can safely be
ignored.
