       Will cracking down on drug ads help patients?

       One problem with watching TV these days is having to listen to
       so many ads for drugs. In many of them viewers are told to "talk
       to your doctor" about a drug. Maybe that is one reason for the
       often-long waits for appointments with a doctor--so many people
       whose interest in a drug was sparked by an ad are turning up at
       their doctors' offices to talk about a drug that has appealed to
       them.
