Time and time again, over the years, I have found that the only
way I can expect to do anything without bringing on a flock of
symptoms is to do everything slowly and keep life as simple as
possible. This study found that people with MS who take too many
drugs ("polypharmacy") are at higher risk of cognitive
problems--as are those taking anticholinergic drugs (examples
are Tylenol PM and the bladder-control drugs Ditropan and
Vesicare) and sedatives. Paring down the number of drugs a
person takes is one way to make life easier.
