As someone who has been wearing hearing aids for about 20 years,
I would advise getting fitted with them sooner rather than
later. The longer you put this adjustment off, the harder it
will be. It is an adjustment. The audiologist I began with told
me that it would take at least 6 months just to get used to
hearing aids.
