From MedPage Today (October 30, 2022)--"New evidence sheds light
on stem cell transplantation for progressive MS":

This study had its limitations, as is pointed out in the
abstract, and the authors have numerous connections with major
drug companies. However, these connections are very commonly
seen in medical reports like this one.
The natalizumab group's results were somewhat better than the
AHSCT group's. Notably,
In the AHSCT group, three patients (7.7%) experienced
febrile neutropenia, nine (23%) had serum sickness, six (15%)
required ICU admission, and 36 (92%) developed complications
after discharge, including 21 infections.
