The Eclipse [TSF Choose Your Own Destiny]

Hello, everyone. I'm pretty sure you all know the
rules of the Choose Your Own Destiny game. (If you don't know
the rules, please check out Supercool08's Choose Your Own
Destiny thread). Now, let's begin the story.
You solemnly walk up the grand stone staircase, your
legs aching in agony. Your life-long best friend, Saria Jackson,
walks by your side. At the top of these stairs is a sacred
shrine, a holy sanctuary to the inhabitants of the village that
surrounds it. Each day, the schoolchildren learn of the
village's customs, one of them being that a guardian by the name
of Ailios Solidor protects the village in times of need. In
Ailios' time of death, he used his dying breath to proclaim
himself as the guardian of the village. The village was renamed
"Ailios Village." In his time, he was a knight, and he lead us
to victory and once stopped us from a great evil. Seventy-Two
Years Ago, this day, The Dark Lord Leamonde tried to destroy the
village with dark magic. Ailios Found the Sacred Blade of the
Sky and struck him down. But in doing so, he sacrificed his own
life. The Village was not only named after him, but a shrine was
built in his honor. And every four years, on February 29th,
there is a Lunar Eclipse that darkens the entire sky. Ailios
killed Leamonde during this Eclipse on this day, so every four
years, you and the rest of the villagers worship him at the top
of the shrine. You and Saria reach the top of the Solidor
Shrine, and expect everyone from the village to be there. But
strangely, nobody is there. As you put on your Eclipse Glasses,
you look up at the dark sky. The Sky seems darker than usual,
and the Eclipsed Moon looks as though it is right next to the
shrine. You hear whispers in your ear, saying "Come forth,
child... Let your soul be touched by the darkness." You stand
back for a moment, look at Saria, then look up at the Eclipse.
What do you do?
1. Run away from the shrine
2. Walk further into the shrine, toward the Eclipse.
3. Stand still and Respond to the Whispers

You look at Saria, who is staring back at you with a
confused face.
"Come on, we have to go!" you shout, as you desperately grab at
her arm and pull her along with you. You run to the staircase,
but as you hit the top of the steps, you feel a shock in your
body, and you and Saria get sent flying backwards onto the
ground. A dark, magical barrier surrounds the entire Shrine. It
looks as though running is not an option. The wind continues to
whisper to you, evily. You have to think fast. What is your next
move?
1. Walk further into the shrine, toward the Eclipse.
2. Stand still and respond to the whispers.
3. Take your sword out of its sheathe and stand in front of
Saria, guarding her.
