Spectacular! I picked out a few quoting issues.
There are 2 types, you can do
#1"Hey Jimmy, can you come to the game tonight?" asks the eager
friend.
That is one type which is making a punctuation there at the end
#2"Nah, I'd better stay home with my cranky mom," said the boy.
Normally, you would say Okay, I am going to use one or another,
but the issues were, I saw a lot of sentences like example #1,
and some of #2.
Other than that, it is a very good story. I am pleased to see
that we are aloud to use foul language in Writer stories, I
guess it has a minimal amount.
I am not a recruiter obviously, and this is not a application.

Minimal Swearing is allowed. No big swear words, and make it
very limited. He used a small swear word, and only once, so It's
fine.
