       Anyone ever use

gelatin or something similar for bone/joint/cartilage issues?
Curious if anyone has (or know anyone that has) and if it has
       worked.
I'm looking into it. Granted, I'm not a fan of gelatin, but if
it helps improve some issues I have, it might be worth it.

Over the years there have been many studies done that support
it, but it takes LARGE quantities and constant use to accomplish
much. You'd have to eat a couple boxes of Jello a day or take a
       high dose supplement.
Talk to your doctor BEFORE you do any of that. Supplements are
notorious for not having what they say they do and charging you
       high prices for nothing.
And cartilage can NOT be replaced, no matter what any one tells
you. once it's gone, it's gone. There are ways to cope with
it, but only a doctor can do them.

I recommend Antler Velvet capsules. It contains the minerals,
glucosamine as well as growth factors. I take it for my
arthritic knee. I haven't needed the synvisc injections in my
       knee in over 4 years.
       This is a good brand.

I've been putting gelatin in my coffee for years now. I have
just started putting bone broth powder in my coffee to help heal
my stomach and I'm liking it a lot. My stomach is doing better,
I'm not reaching for the antacids or prilosec as often and it
gives me energy. You need to take the gelatin and the bone
broth powder with vitamin C, though to make the gelatin usable.
I just buy the box of gelatin (30 packets) from the grocery
store. I get the bone broth powder from amazon.

I find that foolish if you have any kind of chronic issue, which
arthritis is. You shouldn't need gelatin unless you have
arthritis, which should be managed by a doctor, not random
useage of OTC meds and "supplements".
Where do you live? Do you not qualify for some kind of state
medical coverage? Through your work? Sliding scale?
There has to be some way, because supplements should never be
trusted and medicine dosages should only be done by people with
       the proper training.
