       They see that the material situation of the vast majority of
       people is deteriorating dramatically. Real incomes are falling.
       Prices are rising. There are problems getting decent jobs. All
       this caused great dissatisfaction. This grievance is usually not
       political but it can create a terrible emotion. So much so that
       it even became a problem for the Russian government's war
       planning because it couldn't mobilize personnel for the army.
       The people simply will not fight for this regime. Furthermore
       the political institutions and even the fake parliamentary
       democracy we have with elections by regime-controlled parties
       have been destroyed over the past two years.
