Playoffs

You guys know me, I'm always willing to look ahead. :P
A win this Friday vs Midland means we're in the playoffs.
Looking at the current standings in Region 1 districts, this is
what our path in the playoffs would be-
Round 1- at El Paso Franklin
Round 2- Euless Trinity/Arlington Lamar winner
Round 3- More than likely the winner of Southlake Carroll/DeSoto
Round 4- More than likely Duncanville.
It's a murderer's row. :o

Ouch" I would like to at least get past Franklin get these guys
some playoff experience for next year which will be in good
shape if coach can get them ready to play they were a little
behind

Nothing really changes for us unless we beat Lee, or Odessa
makes the playoffs which looks highly unlikely at this point.
We'll travel to El Paso in the first round otherwise.

On further review, it looks like Odessa would have to upset
Tascosa this week and then beat Midland to have a chance to make
the playoffs. It would help to have Tascosa lose out. I don't
think Odessa would survive a points tiebreaker unless they could
beat Tascosa by 15+ points. Too early to think about points just
yet.
Midland would need a miracle win vs Lee, then a win over Odessa
coupled with Tascosa losing out to make it.
Frenship owns the tiebreaker over Odessa and Midland, so even if
the Tigers drop their last two games they'd still go in at 2-3.

Upon further further review, it looks like EP Montwood is a lock
to be the D1 top seed in the first round with Franklin being D1
#2 seed. The best EP Franklin can do at this point is wind up
tied with Montwood, and Montwood holds the tiebreaker in
seeding.
So if we beat Lee (and assuming OHS doesn't male the playoffs)
we'd be the top D1 seed and would host Franklin at Ratliff. If
Lee beats us, we'd travel to El Paso to play Montwood.
