Freshman class along with jv may have some success next few
years

Well, a win is a win is a win. #25 was a little rusty to start
off. I was surprised they started off with three straight pass
plays with him.
I thought some of the penalties were ticky-tack at best.
Watching video there are a few that I am struggling to see the
penalty. Took at least one score away from us (#9 run).
#27 went through concussion protocol as I understand. I hear he
is fine. We shall see. #43 can be a great RB for us IMHO. I
think is capable of a little more burst.

watching the replay, I think 27 just landed on the ball and got
the wind knocked out of him. His helmet was ripped off during
the play but it didn't look like he took a hit to the head.

I do not understand the reasons for Easton playing QB,
especially when Harper Terry has shown how capable he is.
Easton is a good athlete, but he clearly was not ready for the
game at QB. Make him a slot back, or even a RB; he can RUN.
But he is afraid to throw, his throws were off target, and he
never once looked over the whole field before throwing.... he
was always locked on one guy from the snap.
As for the shutout.... all I can say is.... run D is coming
along nicely, but we are DAMN lucky their WR’s can’t catch.
They had 3 sure TD’s dropped.... we didn’t cover them adequately
at all. Any team that can throw well and had good WR’s, we are
going to have real trouble with.
