Data exchange possibiltiy with Arduino / Android Accessory

Do you see a chance to integrate a possibility to open in the
Outdoor AR Library a data exchange possibility e.g. with Arduino
and/or Android Accessory Development Kit (ADK) 2012. The Android
ADK 2012 implementation of an Android Open Accessory device
(designed to help Android hardware accessory builders and
software developers create accessories for Android) would also
open interesting possibilities for the Mobile AR Framework.
Especially when there might be a way to get data from the serial
port from the Arduino program (an its open source electronics
prototyping platform) that might be a new and big step for
combining Augmented Reality with Physical Computing.
E.g. data from sensors like temperature, pressure, weight, gas
etc. might open new opportunities for context-aware scenarios
combined with AR.

Hello,
At the moment, we are focusing on providing easy way to develop
outdoor ar apps that can run on Android phones using our
library.
And, unfortunately we don't have plans to integrate ADK to our
framework at the moment.
However, there is no reason you can't use our framework combined
with ADK.
If the structure of the library prevents you from using it with
ADK, please let us know what are the problem and what changes
you would prefer.
We'd be happy to take your suggestion and advice to make our
library more open for using it with other frameworks.
Thank you.
