88" Trialer

This was the ever evolving 88" I used to use for CCV trialing:
Galv chassis,
Bettaweld Cage (logbooked)
5 bearing with 40mm Solex (Tried a back to front mounted Zenith
so the float chamber worked at proper climbing angles - Good but
not great!)
4cylinder 246numbered "1 ton" gearbox.
Range Rover power steering with 90 column and PAS pump.
Discovery Axles converted to leaf springs
265/75R16 Insa Turbo Special Tracks
Various parabolics and long stroke decarbon springs.

I do miss it!

Looks good.
How did you get over the track rod hitting the leaf spring
problem?

Being a CCV motor I just rotated the axle. More diff clearance
and prop angles were better. But there was little if zero
Castor. Perfect for trialing but trialing ONLY!

That's what I did with my IIa had great fun in it best thing is
when you where getting less points than the 90 gangs ;D ;D (they
do not like it as Series Land rovers are meant to have no twist
and less bling)
