Status Up Dates
After the hectic experience of running various Role Play sites
and hosting several arcs I've come into a very relaxed phase of
my roleplaying hobby. Since life gets busy and people want to
post for leisure and fun I've been wondering about Status
updates. Perhaps using one of the free text slots under profile
people could post an update. For example currently seeking light
rp or on vacation. It's a good way to keep people informed of
your current RP status and availability.
Future & Past Portal
Seeing as Elements of RP is taking place in modern Equestria and
My Little RP takes place 1000 years in the Past, why not connect
the two. What if we introduced a tab at the top of each site
that lead to the other. We could even say it's a portal between
the past and future in where you can port characters between
time and stories. It would be a good way to get various
characters doing interesting things in different time periods.
Similar to how I had Starlight travel to the past and equalize
Luna. This would also be an interesting thing for characters
that live between the time period. For example past Luna Rped by
me meeting her future self rped by you. Our differences in rp
style could be considered character development and how they
have changed over the years.

So, to clear some things up, the only characters that exist in
both world are the alicorns? Which means technically they can be
from the same universe? That's better, I thought it was a thing
where current characters were in the past, at which point I
would have definitely have said no. So, what exactly is the
point, then? What use would I have, any of us have, for going
back to the past? Are you making a new forum 1000 years in the
past, or connecting to some other forum with pre-established
canons and changes to history that don't exist here? I don't
want to seem like I'm fighting your idea, there are just some
holes I'd like filled first.

Well the alicorns and characters who can live for a thousand
years. This is mainly aimed at Cadence as he knows what I'm
talking about. I think it would be fun to be able to have travel
to past by linking timelines together. The theory I was thinking
was their are various ways to get to the past and characters
could use these portals to venture back or forward between the
two.
