Michael's statements about Reebie:
[i]" Maureen is now beginning to come out of her shell. She
tried for some time to go in another direction but she's now
beginning to learn that her roots and talents are in music,
that's her gift and she's using it. [i]She sings great and

When Rebbie Jackson's mother became a Jehovah Witness in
1965, she followed suit and became a devoted member of the
religion. She began her performing career in her family's Las
Vegas shows and television variety show. She then started a
career outside of the Jackson family as a background singer for
famous acts like Lou Rawls and Chaka Khan.
In 1984, Rebbie collaberated with her brother Michael Jackson
to co-write and produce her number one hit, "Centipede," off her
debut solo album Centipede on the Columbia label. The song
reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot R & B/Hip-Hop Singles &
Tracks and No. 24 on the Billboard Hot 100. Jackson's
Centipede album went gold based mostly off the success of the
single. Rebbie released her second album Reaction, in 1986.
The album was produced by members of the group Surface, and her
brother, Tito Jackson. Jackson's most popular single off the
album "Reaction," reached number 16 on the Billboard Hot R &
B/Hip-Hop singles and released duets with Cheap Trick lead
singer Robin Zander and R & B star Issac
Hayes.
Released in 1988, Rebbie Jackson's third album, RU Tuff
Enuff, had the popular single "Plaything," the song reached the
top ten of the Billboard Hot R & B/Hip-Hop singles and
tracks. Due to her popularity in England, Rebbie Jackson
released a compliation album entitled The Rebbie Jackson
Collection by Expansion in 1996. In 1998, Rebbie Jackson
released her last solo album, Yours Faithfully, on her brother
Michael's MJJ label.
Rebbie married her childhood sweetheart Nathaniel Brown in
1968. The couple has three children, including two daughters,
Stacee and Yashi, and a son, Austin. All three of Rebbie's
children are singers and performers. Her two daughters formed a
group originally called X-Girls, which is now known as Geneva.
Her son, also known as Auggie, is a solo-artist and Rebbie
Jackson's daughter, Stacee gave birth to Jackson's first
grandchild, London Blue in 2005.
