Good boys love bad boys
By: Minyaagar Date: February 19, 2026, 8:52 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Life on the road had been a lot of fun for the shy ghost.
Experiencing life with his new parents. Sadly, while emotionally
he was in a far better place, his powers were still out of
control. He couldn't manifest without the amulet and even if he
could he would be shorting out every electronic in a good radius
from himself. He wished he could more easily interact with the
marvels of technology, but he would have to get his technomancy
under control. That was why he was being sent to a special
supernatural school that would teach him how to control himself.
Today would be the day he was dropped off on campus. Maverick
hugged his backpack in his lap staring out the window of
Devlin's vehicle. To say the social anxiety ridden teen looked
scared was the understatement of the century. He knew it wasn't
true, but he couldn't help the feeling of being abandoned to his
own devices in a big scary school. He knew the men loved him,
and that this was only for his own good. He had to latch onto
that.
-----
Matt looked back in the seat. The man was blubbering over the
fact that he had to let Maverick go to the school. He didn’t
think he’d feel like this. “Now if you have trouble just don’t
hesitate to let a teacher know.” He told him.”they are there to
help.” He said as he fussed over the boy in his state.
-----
Devlin wasn't doing much better than Matt, but he managed to not
show it as much. Plus he knew that Maverick was in need of help
he and Matt couldn't give. The supernatural teachers could help
their boy learn better control. Plus, Maverick would get a
chance to make some friends and socialize more.
"If anyone bullies you, get their names so I can deal with the
little shits," he added, turning to look at Maverick.
He knew from personal experience that there were always bullies
and the teachers couldn't keep track of them or deal with the
effectively.
He felt a shove from Matt and let out a sigh. "Or I can teach
you how to defend yourself. Sorry, can't help my protective side
from popping out. I'm sure your day will be great. If you want,
we can pick you up. You don't have to take the bus home,"
----
"If you can... it would be nice if you two could pick me up...
I'm... sure it will be fine, you don't need to worry dad,"
Mavrick said in an attempt to sooth the men. It was so sweet how
protective the two were of him. "Maybe I'll make a new friend?"
He suggested, trying to look on the bright side.
Soon, it was time for him to get out of the car. He leaned
forward and hugged the two men. "Love you guys, have a good
day!" He said with a sheepish grin before he got out of the car.
Of he had a heart it would be pounding in his chest at this
point as he made his way onto campus.
He found a quiet spot to wait for it to be time to go to class,
sitting with his sketchbook. Of course, even his first day
couldn't be untroubled as a rather uppity teen bully zeroed on
on Maverick's quietness and approached him, harassing him about
what he was drawing and going as far as calling him a weird
loser.
-+---
Matt hugged the boy and waved at him as he watched him walk off.
Shiro who had been dropped off by Marin had a suitcase to stay
at the dorms there given learning how to control his kitsune
form and illusions on top of school. He was wheeling his way
across the school to hear some bully being an ass.
Shiro sighed and went over to sit by Maverick.”hey that’s one
cool art piece.” He told him.”think you could make a design for
my skateboard?” He asked with a grin as he pulled attention to
himself.”hey you- he ain’t no loser- you though…bet you hear the
air between those ears from lack of brain.” He shot out. Of
course he felt the pull on his shirt as what looked lik a fight
about to happen.
----
"We will be here," Devlin replied instantly. A part of him had
thought Maverick might not want to be picked up. Some teens
preferred their parents to keep their distance. "Yes, keep that
positive attitude. I'm sure you'll make a friend or two," Devlin
agreed.
After they'd gotten hugged and echoed their own farewells,
Devlin started the car and pulled off, heading back home. After
the tour had ended, he and Matt had gotten jobs they could do
from home. It was rather nice not to go to the office everyday,
and they could make their own hours.
--------
Kaden had been watching and waiting for Shiro to show. He too
had heard the older teen bullying the cute newbie and came out
of his hiding spot to see the jerk grabbing Shiro's shirt.
Kaden saw red, and launched himself forward using his momentum
to slam into the bigger boy, making him fall back on his ass on
the cement sidewalk.
"Keep your bloody hands off! Only I get to beat on Shiro!" He
snarled and then sucker punched the burly kid in the nose.
He stepped back, blood on his fist and wiped it off on the other
boy's shirt and turned to glower at the bully's friends.
"Whatchu staring at? You want matching faces?" He snapped.
The group grabbed their friend and fled. Most knew better than
to get between Kaden and Shiro's rivalry. Unfortunately for
Maverick, he was now literally between them.
"You okay newbie?" Kaden asked in a much softer tone, turning to
look at the rather adorable blonde haired boy. "I'm Kaden. If
those jerks give you any more trouble, let me know."
----
Maverick was surprise by not just one, but two very handsome
boys come to his rescue one even fighting the bullies off. His
cheeks turned pink when Kaden introduced himself asking if he
was okay. "Y... yeah I'm okay. Thank you... i... might stick
close to your guys if it keeps the bullies away..." Rick managed
as a slight smile came to his lips. "My... my name is Maverick,
it's nice two meet you both... I... don't mind trying to design
something for your skateboard Shiro was it? I um... what kind of
stuff do you like... I can... incorporate it into the design..."
He offered shyly.
-+++
Shiro watched as predicted Kaden jumping in to save him from
having to fight. He let a breath out to lean on his skateboard a
little chuckling before he watched the boys go.
“I don’t mind you stick in’ with me ..” said Shiro with a soft
smile. “Really?!? Cool, I’m mega big into a fox theme, been
trying to find someone willing to try that, maybe some ghost
like elements to it?” He mused with a thoughtful look.”thanks
Kaden- I can take it from here, gonna show him around.” He told
him.”mind coming with to the dorms? School don’t quite start yet
due to the rest of us having to drop off bags and stuff.” He
said noting he had a backpack.”nice! Your parents are local?” He
asked now curious.
------
"sounds like a good plan," Kaden agreed with Maverick, while
also shooting Shiro an annoyed look. He wasn't about to let the
fox boy monopolize all of Maverick's time if he could help it.
There was also a small bit of jealousy that Shiro was already
interested in someone that had just shown up.
"I might as well stick with you, keep you safe from the bullies
since You're not into fighting," he couldn't help but say to
Shiro and then glanced at Maverick's backpack when Shiro
mentioned the boys parents were local.
Before they could move though a large shadow fell over them and
a hand fell on Kaden's shoulder making him flinch and glance up.
He met the probing blue eyes of the headmaster without flinching
or reacting, though he knew what was coming next.
"I was hoping I wouldn't have to have this talk with you again
Mr. Morningstar, and on the first day. Violent acts on campus
are not allowed. Detention after school, and I think anger
management classes for you this year as well. Shiro I need you
to report to the room manager, there's been a change with your
dorm assignment. And, I believe you are maverick, correct? I've
got an older student who will be showing you around this
morning. You can meet up with Shiro and Kaden later if you'd
like. I'm headmaster Michaelson, nice to have you here. Just
look for the tall junior with bright bubblegum pink and blue
hair. He's hard to miss. He should be near the entrance," the
tall white haired man said pointing it out to Maverick.
----
The banter between the two boys was cut short when it seemed an
adult had seen what Kaden had done and given the boy detention.
It seemed Shiro's hope to show Rick around was also dashed as he
was told to report to the dorms while Maverick himself was to
meet with another student to show him around.
"Uh yeah,my parents just settled in town... maybe after the
school tour... we could... all meet up for lunch?" He suggested
with a hopeful look. The two seemed like they would make good
friends, he could feel it.
He stowed his things in his backpack and headed off to go meet
the pink haired student, that wasn't along as the teens seeming
opposite was lurking nearby. Rick gave a reluctant wave to his
tour guide looking quite unsure.
-----
Shiro couldn’t help the disappointment on his face as the ears
and tail popped out reflexively drooping. He blushed to shake
his head the ears and tail seemingly vanish as he brightened at
lunch.”totally!” He said and reflexively hugged Maverick to
blush. “Sorry.” He said before dipping out to go see his new
roommates.
He skittered past Lilly who was walking to the human side who
gave a side eye before heading straight having made sure to have
given lyall the right duffle given their stuff had been mixed
up.”such chaos..” she mumbled to herself.
-+++-
Though his face didn't change, Kaden couldn't help but think how
cute Shiro looked with his fix ears and tail. "Yeah, I'll see
you at lunch," he agreed giving Maverick a grin and a wink. Even
if he didn't really want to be in the same space as Shiro, he
wasn't going to let the guy steal Maverick away from him without
a fight.
He was led away by the headmaster who rambled on about setting
up the "anger management" classes with the fairy teacher.
Apparently she had her nephew to teach as well.
"Fine, when do I report to her?" He asked, holding back a heavy
sigh.
"After Detention is served with Mr. Martins,"
"Yes sir Headmaster Michaelson, may I go inside now?" He asked
as respectfully as he could, pulling his shoulder away.
The man let out a heavy sigh and nodded. Kaden hoofed it up to
the entrance but was too late to catch up to Maverick and his
tour guide.
"Great, guess I'll go read before class,"
If he had felt like listening to Danny's bubbly babbling he'd
probably have tried to hunt them down. It was probably better to
just wait until lunch though.
-------
"Hello there! You must be Maverick. I'm Danny Kaufman, your
friendly guide for the day. This is my friend Sammy. Let's get
started shall we?" Danny asked in a bright cheerful tone when
the blonde haired boy came up.
The headmaster had given him and Sammy the job of being tour
guides to keep them out of trouble. The year before, they'd
gotten entangled in more than a little trouble and a huge plot.
Thankfully they'd survived and helped save the world in the
process. Not that anyone would ever believe them.
"Let's start with the fun places to hang out, and then give you
a quick look at places to avoid," Danny suggested with a grin.
----
-----
Ravi wasn't all that happy to being forced to stay in the dorms
of the school. But with his aunt's cabin in need of repairs
there wasn't really anywhere to stay. He glanced around the
small office, glancing again at the boy sitting across from him.
There was something about him that made Ravi think he was a
supernatural being as well. Maybe he'd be one of Ravi's
roommates?
"Sorry to keep you waiting boys, the last boy is on his way,"
the rather attractive platinum blonde woman spoke up.
Ravi tilted his head to the side. "Are you...an elf?" He half
whispered, not wanting others to hear.
The woman's lips twitched and she put her finger to her lips,
her eyes twinkling a bit.
Ravi sat back, pleased a bit that he'd managed to recognize her
through her magical disguise. It wasn't actually an easy thing
to do. Though the boy across from him, really did stump him.
----
The tour guides friendly demeanor was easy for Maverick to relax
around, "sounds like a plan, hopinging to be done by lunch...
I'm meeting some new friends." Rick said as the tour of the
school began.
Sammy gladly tagged along, interjecting the best hiding places
to make out.
¤¤¤
Tavin was relaxing in his tank that served as his bed. A weave
of freshwater grass and other water plants making up the bed he
was relaxing in. Shirtless in only his swim trunks. He had moved
in the previous day, the people on charge wanting to make sure
he could be properly contained without student lives being
risked. The Kelpie was honestly shocked they would be giving him
room mates. They really expected him to live with strangers and
those people to come out the other end alive? They had far more
faith than he did.
The Kelpie went to the top of his tank, his head out of the
water when three other boys were shown into the room. He gave a
wave to the trio when he was introduced by the elven woman.
-----
Shiro waved to put his stuff on the bed he chose. He was putting
stuff away to make sure it was good before he got out a small
magic looking crystal. He smiled a little before sliding it in
his pocket- given what the place was he was told by Marin he
couldn’t have his phone but the crystal allowed a mockup of a
phone by a creative wizard. He made a few taps and put it away.
“My names Shiro!” He said as he gave an exaggerated bow.”and I’m
a kitsune.. sorry in advance for pranks I might pull.” He joked
to grin flashing a fang. Lyall who was grumpy from the get go
went for his second choice of a bed when his first got
snatched.”lyall.” He said with a deep sigh before putting his
stuff away.
——
Lilith who had settled her things already found a spot to hide
for a little bit, her laptop out as she typed. The thing looked
like a tank, her computer sitting on her lap. She closed it
hearing people to slide it in a special backpack that acted like
a faraday cage. Given how their family was, meant access to a
lot of things, which she didn’t mind. She saw the two to get a
bit wide eyed.
_----
Soon enough the third boy showed and the elf lady led them off
to a dorm room on the ground floor. Until he saw the tank, Ravi
had assumed that the faculty had wanted to keep a close eye on
them. He smiled broadly back and waved enthusiastically at
Taven.
"Ye be a kelpie! How cool is that!" He couldn't help but say,
feeling a bit more at ease once they were alone.
Seeing the last bed was near the tank he set his small bundle of
things on it and pulled out a few carvings he had made to set on
the small side table. "Nice to meet ye all, I'm Ravi Reckless
Bloom. I'm sure we will get along well enough. Ifin ye feel
murderous kelpie boy lemme know. I kin play some music to calm
ye,"
Ravi's Irish accent was a bit thicker and pronounced when he was
excited. "Ah, just a warning, try to keep the cruel pranks at a
minimum, I kinda have a short fuse. Then ye will be seeing my
fire powers unleashing. I have to wear this amulet around the
humans, but it has to come off for a bit every night," Ravi
explained to the others.
-----
"This place is my personal favorite make out spot, my boyfriend
*really* likes it here," Sammy told the shy Maverick, who kept
insisting he didn't need to know where all the make out spots
were. "But you *will* when you have a cute thing on your arm and
wanna mack it out," Sammy teased getting a big blush out of
Danny's latest charge.
Sammy hadn't expected there to be someone in the hiding spot,
finding a girl with a brick of a laptop. "Guess my hiding spots
aren't as well hidden as I thought, I really should stop telling
people about them, yo girly, you got a name? Just so you find my
spots you are legally required to be friends with me," he joked
before plopping down next to the girl, being *way* too nosey.
¤¤¤
Hearing the elf inform them of what he was, made Taven a little
sad. It would have been nice for them to not he scared of him
for a bit.
The red heads reaction certainly threw him off. "Yeah, Kelpie...
wouldn't so much call it murderous as hungry. I am murderous
when I'm hungry though, so fair" He said with a chuckle. "Long
as you three remember to lock me in the tank at night... should
be safe...." He said with a shrug.
-----
Lilith blinked a bit at the pair and blushed a bit as Sammy sat
by her. The girl wasn’t use to having too much interaction to
find her voice to the rather warm friendly person by her.”My
names Lilith.” She said.”what’s your names?” She asked Sammy and
the shy looking boy that looked a bit boxed in himself.
——-
Shiro heard what the boy was and went a bit quiet. It was one of
the lessons his cousin imparted to be aware to not touch if they
were hungry, and to be aware of. “I’ll make sure it’s locked.”
Said Shiro. He could see the sad look and understood to an
extent- he gave a half smirk at the red head.”noted I know my
limits about pushing people unless your Kaden.” He joked a
little as his rivals name came out. “Ah I know I listen to my
music through my headphones but is it okay if I play it out loud
sometimes if I ask? I mostly listen to a lot of peaceful asylum,
korn, bit of slipknot and few of B.L.E.S. If not I’ll keep to
the headphones. He said as he finished getting straightened up
before getting his backpack together.
----
Danny was starting to think Sammy just liked seeing him and
Maverick blushing. "Come on Sam, enough teasing already," Danny
insisted.
His gaze fell on the new girl sitting in His friend's hiding
spot. He got the feeling that she might be a bit on the reserved
side herself. "Hi, I'm Danny. This is Sammy, nice to meet you
Lilith,"
-----
Ravi didn't really care too much about Taven's race. He'd grown
up with all sorts creatures others thought were dangerous or
evil. Most were in some aspects, but they'd had redeeming
qualities as well.
"If you insist then we'll do that," Ravi said with a shrug of
his shoulders and sat down on the edge of his bed, letting his
feet swing a bit.
His ears pricked up a bit at Shiro's mention of music. "I
wouldnt mind at all. I want to hear all the music the human
world offers. Up until now, I've been living in the fae world.
Expose me to all of her music, please!" Ravi said excitedly.
-+-+
"We are doing a school tour, you should come along!" Sammy
suggested after Danny introduced everyone. "Can show you all the
good places to lurk." He added with a wide grin before he stood
up. Weather of not she went along, Sammy was eager to get this
tour over, though not nearly as much as Maverick who kept
checking his watch.
♧♧♧
"I mean, you don't *have* to make sure my tank is locked at
night, just don't be sad when you wake up a liver short....
Music usually doesn't bother me, I'm pretty ignore of human
music myself. Should be interesting if nothing else." Tavin
mused.
-----
Lilith watched the grin get a bit wide, it wasn’t hard to read
the room, but she did want a few more places to hide.”sure…” she
said simply. She hoisted her bag and smiled a bit. She wrapped
her hair around her ear a bit as she followed the tour group
around.
——-
“Awesome, oh a fact, my cousin is a bass guitarist in Peaceful
asylum, “ he said to chuckle.”alright, if you no likey you can
tell me.” Said shiro. He flushed at the idea.”I’ll make sure
it’s locked, I like my liver. It’s attached to me after all.” He
said to chuckle.
Lyall on the other hand felt for the guy, as much as he joked he
wondered how he really felt.Course it didn’t mean he wasn’t
scared, just after realizing what happens when he loses control
was an issue. The one he worried about though was his twin.
Being human and a kelpie around wasn’t sure how he’d handle
protecting her…even if he tried his damndest to pretend they
were not related.
----
Danny gave Lilith another friendly smile and waited for her
before leading the way through the rest of the school, stopping
outside the huge gymnasium.
"Oh, and don't forget to pick a club or two to join after the
assembly gets over. The truck to getting out first is to sit
near th exits near the stage. The back ones everyone pushes and
shoved to get to," Danny advised the newcomers. "There's a
really fun drama club, and there's a school newspaper you could
join. Even a really great computer club if you're interested In
that, Lilith," he added, remembering the huge laptop she had
before.
"Just..avoid the swim team. They're the biggest bullies here,"
he added with a long sigh. He'd long been their scapegoat ever
since he'd started going. "Oh and how could I forget, our art
teacher is amazing! She mentioned us making our own comic books
this year,"
----
Ravi got a rather excited look on his face hearing Shiro had a
musical relative. "Have you ever gone to live concerts before? I
bet those would be so much fun!"
Ravi couldn't help but notice that the other boy, Lyall was
rather quiet and looked a bit worried."you okay over there
Lyall? Are you all planning on going to the assembly? Or maybe
we can all play hookie and go exploring instead," he suggested,
glancing at the others.
--+++
Maverick are more than a little grateful when the tour continued
and even more so when it was finally over, just in time for them
to go into the main hall for assembly. The cotton candy haired
teen even giving advice on the easiest way to escape the gym
once the students were released to find their first classes.
"Thank you..." Maverick said softly, taking the teenys advice
and sitting near the exit Danny had suggested. During the
assembly, he thought over what club he could join, relieved
there was an art club he could sign himself up for before
slipping out of the gym. The huge amount of people making him
more than a little anxious.
♧♧♧
"Pretty sure the assembly is mandatory, have to pick clubs or
something like that. Would consider the swim team, buuuuuut, I
don't know. Feel like I would drown someone." The Kelpie said as
he pulled himself out of his tank and grabbed a waiting towel
before working on getting clothes on.
"A book club or something might be safer," he mused, thinking of
how he could avoid eating people. He didn't want to be this
murderous creature most expected him to be.
-----
Lilith gave a soft smile as she listened to the clubs. Her eyes
lit a bit at the computer club that was around. She furrowed her
brow at the idea of the swim team being a bunch of bullies.
“How many clubs can one join?” She asked her timid voice coming
out some. The corners of her mouth tugged at the idea of the art
teacher. The girl made it a habit to become friends with art
teachers - as to why.. more or less to get real feelings about
art, grades were one thing but there was just some things that
couldn’t be graded.”what’s her name?” She asked.
——-
“Oh yeah- even got to meet the lead of bles too. It was wild.”
He said as he laughed a bit.
——
Lyall finally spoke- “I plan on being in sports- more of a
football, basketball kind of guy.” He said off handedly. He
looked at the kelpie and blinked”.reading is a good option, but
some physical activity may be good too- it’s good to get out the
aggression or least try to.” He told the kelpie.”have you
considered doing more like a diving competition- mean your
practically built for it and only one would be allowed in the
pool. “ he said with a thought he figured at the school they’d
have someone that could handle a kelpie in a situation if
something happened.
Shiro smirked.”I’m planning to go into theatre, mean illusions
can be used pretty well too and good practice for my powers.” He
admitted. He looked at his watch.”I have a lunch date after all
this, so imma go find the cutie I saw earlier today.” He said
with a chuckle. Much like the rest he made his pick of club and
slipped out looking for the boy- he found him in the gym to
smile.”bit crowded isn’t it?” He said with a chuckle.
----
Ravi couldn't help but let out a long sigh, mandatory classes
and assemblies, it all soundd tedious and boring. He was much
more used to learning things while on the move. It was going to
take awhile getting used to the way humans did things. He kind
was already missing his half siblings, friends and his mother.
While they didn't always want him around, they were far more
cheerful and ready to party or be spontaneous.
"guess I'll have to get used to all this new stuff," He said
more to himself than the others. "A book club could be fun," He
mused, thinking that if he joined with Taven, he could keep an
eye on the other a bit. Not that he'd mind. He thought Taven was
quite handsome to behold. He wouldn't mind taking a risk to get
to know him better. "Should probably shake a hoof, and get there
before all the good classes are snatched up then," Ravi said
hurrying to change his shirt and fixing his hair.
He had half heard what Lyall had said about sports and got a
thoughtful look on his face. "For some people it only heightens
their aggression, at least from what I've seen," He mentioned,
playing with his red hair while waiting for the others to
follow. "Theater? That sounds like fun. I could check that out
too."
Once in the huge gymnasium, Ravi didn't sit, choosing to stand
by the door. He wasn't used to so many people all in one place,
and he wanted to get out the first chance he could.
--------
Danny inclined his head closer to Lilith so he could hear her
softer voice as they walked into the gymnasium. "Oh you can
usually be in one sports, and then two others. Though there are
a few that choose to be in more. You just have to be able to
keep up your grades to do the extra curricular things," He
explained as they took their seats together.
"You're welcome Maverick," Danny told him. "If there's anything
you ever need, let me know." He said with a friendly smile. He
didn't know the younger boy that well, but he found he rather
liked him.
He turned back to Lilith when she asked about the art teacher's
name. "Marti Henderson. She's also the coach's wife," He said
and pointed the woman out to Lilith.
The hispanic beauty was chatting with one of the other teachers
on one side of the room. The headmaster called the assembly to
order, giving out the rules and then dismissed everyone in the
room. Danny was up instantly, following after Maverick to where
the booths for the clubs had been set up outside. "So..you keen
on joining the art class then?" He asked Lilith. "Would be cool
to have you as a classmate," He said winking at her.
-+++
Unfortunately for Shiro, his time alone with Maverick was short
lived. Moriko had been told to keep a look out for the younger
kitsune and came stalking up to him just a few moments after
he'd found the ghost boy.
Unlike the other kids; Moriko's kitsune sight was much stronger
and she could pick up that Maverick wasn't a normal teenager.
She looked him over for a moment, before turning to look at
Shiro.
"Shiro your uncle insisted that I train you. He said you needed
to learn better control. I Can help you with that. Plus..I can
teach you some fun things too. Sorry to interrupt you. I"m
Moriko Hisakawa, I'm a junior this year, so my time is limited.
How's three nights a week sound? We can figure out what time
works for both of us now..or tomorrow."
----
Maverick felt quite crowded, even more so when Shiro pointed it
out before yet more people showed up. One stealing away Shiro
while another practically *snatched* Danny away, leaving Sammy
complaining to himself. He didn't understand why Danny's bed
buddy was so possessive. It seemed all the darkness Dusty had
absorbed while under the sand man's control had yet to fully
wear away.
Dusty had been practically stalking Danny during their little
tour and had just about enough of waiting for their little
rainbow to be done being social. Thankfully, Dusty had found a
slightly healthier way to deal with these emotions rather than
sulking, and that was just kidnapping Danny. They walked up,
hooking their arm in Danny's and practically dragged the man off
mid conversation. "Mine," was all the recluse would say at any
of Danny's protests.
♧♧♧
"See, that is a mistake many would make. My murderous nature
doesn't come from aggression, it is instinctual, a part of my
nature if you will. Driven by need and hunger. I'm not going to
go on a rampage, well, so long as I'm not left unfed for too
long." Taven mused darkly.
"And if I use more energy than necessary, I'll be hungrier more
often, so calm, quite book club seems like the optimal choice."
Taven mused before leaving with the others to go to this
assembly. Being so close to so many Humans was hard and Taven
found himself burying his nose in a novel until it was time to
sign up for clubs. It took a bit of looking but once he was
signed up, Taven left the gym, heading for outside. He needed a
break from the smell of food all around him. Starving while
surrounded by food was some of the worst torture. His senses
were so overestimated that he went into the forest to hide his
shift into his true equine form. A massive pure black Fersisan.
----
Shiro was settling in when Moriko popped up. He made a face
immediately as it felt like the universe was trying to keep him
away. He looked around and sighed.”three nights is fine- and we
can talk tomorrow.” He said flatly.”I’m trying to make friends
so maybe we can talk tonight? “ he asked.”was about to find out
what clubs he picked and everything.” He huffed a bit to tap his
foot. His ears slid out again reflexively to shake his head. The
ears vanished as he sighed.
—-
Lyall listened a bit.”instinctual..” he sounded.”mean given I’m
a were I can understand to a point mean once I lose my shit
well.. get aggressive the wolf takes over- just letting you guys
know- not just anyone can calm me down- “ he made an audible
sigh at what he was gonna say next.”my twin was the only one to
keep me from attacking. If there is an issue find her- she’s not
hard to miss, she is dressed in all black and practically a
goth.” He stated.
Once he got things finished he walked out to se Taven rushing
for the forest. His brows furrowed just a little in concern. He
knew to keep his distance but somehow just letting a guy alone
just didn’t set well with him.
He followed a bit, but what caught him off guard was seeing the
equine form. Despite how dangerous they were he definitely felt
that they were certainly noble looking themselves- but was not
fooled as his senses told him to be careful of that form.
“Tavin?” He asked keeping his distance.”you alright buddy?
Should I get a teacher?” He asked.

Danny let out a startled yelping sound when Dusty descended on
him and pulled him off. "You're gonna have to work on being a
little more social," Danny sighed out, starting to worry a bit
about Dusty's response. After everything they'd been through in
the past year; he didn't mind giving Dusty a little leeway.
"All right kidnapper, what do you want to do today?" He sighed,
settling against the shorter boy. "Can we take a short moment to
sign up for our clubs before all the spots are taken?" He added,
hoping that Dusty would listen to his appeal. "Please? Just
five minutes?"

Ravi managed to get through the assembly, his sights set on
Taven. He wasn't sure why, but the boy intrigued him and he
wanted to get to know him better. He flinched when he felt
someone bump into him and turned to see a blue haired boy
watching the same group he was. "Sorry, didn't mean to bump you.
Name's Kaden. What's yours?"
Ravi looked Kaden over a moment, replying, "Ravi Reckless Bloom.
How long are these assemblies?"
"That's a mouthful, Usually about a half an hour, unless the guy
gets long winded," Kaden replied, crossing his arms over his
chest, and glowering over at Shiro.
Ravi chuckled a bit, not minding the guy's comment. The two
headed to sign up for "clubs", Ravi noticed Taven bolt and
headed after him. Kaden stayed back, heading over to catch Shiro
and Maverick.

Ravi followed a few steps behind Lyall, his footsteps quiet on
the forest undergrowth. He came to a stop, his breath catchign
at the sight of Taven's gorgeous horse form. He knew that in
this form that Taven would be even more dangerous. "Maybe music
could help?" He suggested, pulling his small wood ocarina out of
his pocket, eyeing the horse form. "Probably got overwhelmed by
all the noise, I know I did."
Since no one else was around, Ravi let his wings out and flew
over a bit closer, and settled in a tree above the Kelpi and
began playing a soothing melody.

Moriko wasn't all that surprised by Shiro's annoyance at her
appearance. "Sure, sounds good to me," She replied, and then
blinked when he countered himself saying they'd talk later that
night. "Ah, sure. My apologies. I didn't realize you were busy
with your friend," Moriko replied in a laid back tone. She was a
bit surprised to see his ears suddenly appear and disappear.
"We can work on that as well," She added in a non judgmental
tone and spied her girlfriend waving at her from across the gym.
"Gotta go, my lady is beckoning," Moriko said with a happy smile
and headed through the crowd to her.
