Gio glanced at her with a curious look. Did you figure that out
on your own? I had a mentor that taught me about that."
Gio nodded his head in agreement with Vanessa's statement. "It
took a lot of focus but yes it took me awhile. It was a bit o
the difficult side but I was bound and determined to learn."
Munching on an onion ring he grinned at her as she talked about
how she herself hadn't gone to college herself and then started
to talk about her family. He listened silently smilig at her
giggle. She seemed like a very interesting person and he
couldn't help but want to get to know her better.
"I ended up going through mechanic school and falling even more
in love with motorcycles. Then well, started in on the family
hunter business. Every Cassano male in my family has been a
hunter. When my father passed away, it was my turn to take up
hunting. I was in no way prepared for it, thankfully I foud a
mentor who helped train me. That's how Dane and I met. He was
being trained as well and our mentor paired us up."
He laughed at her comment about his pulling most of the stuff
off his burger. "I actually will eat them, I just didn't think I
could get my mouth around this massive thing." He said with a
wide grin. "Are you not going to eat yours? cause I will gladly
eat them for you." He offered looking up at her. He grinned more
when she said told him chocolate would be perfect. "Glad to know
even I picked out the right flavor for you." he said with a
wink.
They settled into mostly silence as they ate their food, with a
few moans of bliss at the taste of the perfectly cooked burgers
and the delicious cold shakes. Finally when all the food was
gone, even the toppings Vanessa had pulled off, Gio settled back
on the blanket resting his head on his arms.
"It's a rather beautiful night." He sighed. "I may need a few
moments for my stomach to adjust to so much food. You don't mind
waiting to head back do you?" He asked softly.

Astrid smiled at Dane's chuckle. Her face flushed a little as
she took a moment to take in his features for a moment. She
decided she rather liked the look of him. Those deep brown eyes
were gorgeous, not to mention the slight smile at the corners of
his lips. She was glad that he didn't seem to notice that she
had been eyeing him while she had worked on her hair.
She laughed lightly at Dane's explanation for why he had gotten
so much chinese food. "Oh I know how that is, chinese is my
favorite. If I had my way, I'd eat it twice a week. Vanessa's
not that crazy about it that often. She tends to make me try
different stuff but that's not a bad thing. I've found I like a
lot of the cuisine she makes me try. Like in our last town, she
made me go to this authentic jamaican restaurant and the food
was so amazing." Astrid stopped talking realizing she had been
talking for quit awhile and blushed slightly. "I tend to get
super talkative after I'm awake and clean, " She explained.
She was a bit surprised when he wrapped his own arms around her
when she hugged him. That was part of the reason why she held on
for so long to him. It had been a long time since a man had
hugged her. The last man that had hugged her had been Vanessa's
father. Of course Dane's hug was far more gentle.
She almost had the feeling that Dane would have kissed her after
she had brushed her lips over his cheek as she settled back in
her chair. She flushed a bit darker at that thought and eyed his
soft lips wondering just how they might feel.
She blinked at his words and smiled. "Thank you,"Then she went
about going through each of the boxes and taking a little of
each. That was until she found the sushi. "Ooh you got some of
all of them! Nice!" She said happily and grabbed some chopsticks
from the bag and split them apart.
She laughed at his words about there being nothing wrong about
chinese for breakfast. "You're right about that, though I'm sure
Vanessa will make a face at me eating cold chinese for
breakfast. For some reason it really bugs her," She said with a
grin. Then she dug into her food with much gusto. After a few
bites she grabbed some of the sweet and sour sauce to dip her
food into.

Hearing Giovanni, Vanessa giggled. “We spend so much time in new
places. I don’t see a reason not to try the best things. Every
city has places that people flock to. So yes, technically, I did
figure it out on my own.” Well, a bit of that was not true.
Vanessa liked adventuring in these new places, and trying new
foods was just a perk of the trade. Not many people could travel
as much as she did. Besides, it was a part of the job that made
life so much fun for her.
When he spoke again, Vanessa smiled. Something about Giovanni
intrigued her, making her want to know him better. She giggled,
thinking over what he said. “Seems like when you’re determined,
you tend to get what you want.” Vanessa giggled. It was a little
funny to her. Well, she did tend to find herself more interested
in the more determined guy, so it made sense she found herself
attracted to Giovanni. Plus, they seemed to connect more than
any other guy she’d been with. When he talked about his life,
Vanessa couldn’t help smiling. He seemed to have quite the
interesting life, she would admit that. “Your father didn’t
teach you? It’s a good thing you found yourself a mentor at
least.” Smiling at Giovanni, Vanessa couldn’t help thinking he’d
become a pretty good hunter from what she had seen.
His laugh made Vanessa smile. It sounded pretty great. He was
right, the burger was definitely massive, but Vanessa didn’t
have a problem with it. She was starving, and this really
helped. Plus, it was a good burger, even from the first bite.
She nodded at his question. After all, she wasn’t going to eat
it anyway. After a moment, Vanessa smiled. “Thank you.” After
that, she went back to eating happily. This was perfect, and she
couldn’t have better company than Giovanni.
Once the food was gone, Vanessa leaned back, listening to
Giovanni. “I’m perfectly fine staying here. I could look at the
stars forever.” Vanessa said with a smile, moving closer to
Giovanni. “Can I use you as a pillow?” Vanessa asked with a
small smile as she thought about it. When she got an answer,
Vanessa laid her head on his chest and curled up.

Listening to Astrid, Dane smiled. “Good thing we have that in
common then.” It was lucky that they seemed to have so much in
common, but he truly liked it. Perhaps that was because he
really liked Astrid. “But still, it’s not bad to have variety
sometimes. I’d get bored if all I ever had was Chinese, I
think.” He loved it yet, but not every day. Dane chuckled,
listening to Astrid. “It’s okay. I don’t mind.” Dane smiled as
he watched her look at all of the options in front of her.
They ate in silence, aside from the occasional moans of joy.
Dane was impressed. This was actually good Chinese food. “You
know there’s a microwave in here, right?” Dane couldn’t help but
tease Astrid as they ate. It was amazingly good. Not to mention,
Dane was glad to have some more time alone with Astrid. The girl
was growing on him, even more now that he was talking to her so
much more.
Once they had finished eating and put the food away, Dane had
gone back to sitting on the bed, where Astrid joined him and
laid in his arms. Dane smiled as he watched her look into
whatever she was doing on her cell phone. He couldn’t help
thinking this might be the right time to kiss her, but it seemed
a bit odd. Then again, Dane supposed there was no right time to
make a move. Plus, he really didn’t want to miss his shot with
this girl. Moving his arm to move her face gently to look at
him, Dane leaned in and kissed Astrid gently.

Gio nodded at Vanessa's words as he ate another onion ring while
she spoke. "Well I suppose if I was a native to the US I might
have known it. Italy is a bit different. Most restaurants there
are amazing. Here you kind of have to be careful," He said with
a laugh.
Gio could see that Vanessa had an interesting look on her face
as she listened to him. He couldn't help but wonder if she was
appealed by him. It made him sit up a bit straighter just
thinking that she might actually like him back. "Oh yes, that is
definitely my major characteristic. Just ask Dane. I am a very
determined fellow." He said winking at her.
He went quiet after she asked about why his father didn't teach
him. "He wanted to, I-I kind of rebelled against it at first. I
wanted to live a life different than the one he had led. He and
I parted on bad terms, I never got to talk to him after that. It
still makes me sad I let my feelings keep me from apologizing
and making things right between us. It was fortunate that I
found a man to help teach me what I needed to know." He replied.
He couldn't help but notice just how eagerly Vanessa went about
eating her burger. It was rather nice to see a girl who wasn't
picky or concerned about her figure. Most of the girls he had
previously dated seemed to eat salads and food that didn't look
all that appetizing to him. He had the sudden thought that he'd
love to take her to a proper restaurant and see what she thought
of finer food. She seemed like a girl that should be spoiled a
bit.
Gio turned to her when she leaned back on the blanket next to
him and replied to his question. "Sounds like a good plan. If
Dane was alone I might not stay out so long, I prefer not leave
him alone too long. There could always be vampires that belong
to the nest that might find out who took out the others." He
said, his eyebrows narrowing. "I should call and check in on him
in a moment."
At her question had him smiling. "But of course Bellissimo." He
told her. After she snuggled up against him resting her soft
hair on his chest he moved an arm around her back and held her
loosely. "So tell me more about yourself," He said gently
running a finger against her side. "What sorts of things do you
like to do for fun? I thought perhaps I could take you out
tomorrow ad do something fun. You have been sleeping and inside
for the last few days. Some fresh air and the sun might be a
good idea. "

Astrid nodded at Dane's comment about them sharing so much in
common. It was actually rather nice to find out more about Dane.
She had so many questions she wanted to ask but figured later
would be a better time to ask those sorts of questions. She was
rather too hungry to concentrate on what she wanted to know just
yet.
"Yes, variety is a good thing." She agreed with a smile. "I
would like to think I wouldn't but that's just me." She replied
with a small laugh.
She grinned a bit wider at his words. At least he wasn't the
type to get scared off by a super talkative girl. The last guy
she had dated had gone cross-eyed by how much talking she had
done. It was nice that Dane seemed to be able to take her
talkative side better than most.
She laughed at his teasing her. "Yeah I know, it just doesn't
taste as good warmed up usually. Though this food might not be
so bad. It's better quality than most Chinese I've managed to
find. The sushi is amazing too!" She said grabbing a piece with
her chopsticks and taking a big bite of it.
She tried to pace herself while she ate. She didn't want to
overstuff herself or eat too much too quickly. Her stomach had
been empty for the last few days while she had been sleeping
after all. When she finished her plate she moaned happily and
stretched out for a moment. Then she gave him a hand to put the
food away. Her Tetris skills coming in handy getting all the
boxes to fit in the small fridge.
"I've got something to check on my phone," She told him vaguely
as she grabbed her cellphone which she saw was done charging and
unplugged it. She couldn't help but move back to lay in his arms
while she brought up the website and checked to see if they had
any new jobs or requests for jobs.
She turned when she felt him moved his arm to get her face
closer and opened her mouth in surprise when he leaned in and
kissed her. For a moment she just laid there savoring the feel
of his soft lips pressing against her own. Then she moved
towards him and put her phone down above his head and drew
wrapped her hands around his neck and drew him in even closer.
Her eyes closed and she moaned softly against his lips and
pressed herself against his chest.
After several moments of being lost in his kiss, she pulled
herself back and opened her eyes to look at him. She gently
stroked the stubble on the side of his face and ran a finger
over his lips gently. "That was nice," She said in a husky tone.
"I could get used to kissing you." She sighed happily and moved
in to lay her head against his chest.

Listening to Giovanni, Vanessa smiled. “I bet that’s nice.
Everything here is hit or miss.” It was so interest, how the
different cultures were. Vanessa had never really been anywhere
except the country she lived in. But then, there tended to be a
lot to hunt here. Plus, her family was here. Vanessa’s life was
here. Truthfully though, she would love to travel the world
more.
Blushing a little as she saw Giovanni’s wink, Vanessa couldn’t
help giggling. “Do you always get what you want?” Vanessa
couldn’t help giggling as she thought about how Giovanni was
boasting about being very determined. It was cute, his level of
confidence in himself. Even if it seemed a bit arrogant, it was
still cute. This attraction she felt to Giovanni could end
badly, if anything even happened. But somehow, it was worth it.
Seeing how Giovanni went quiet, Vanessa looked up at him. She
stayed quiet as she listened to him talk. The girl frowned,
thinking about what he said. “I’m so sorry.” Now was definitely
not the time to add in her thoughts, though Vanessa would
definitely say that things like this was why she didn’t see a
reason to keep any feelings hidden. Life was much too short to
fight with people you cared about, at least, Vanessa thought so.
When Giovanni spoke again, Vanessa couldn’t help but giggle.
“He’s not alone though. I’m sure he’ll be fine with Astrid.”
Thinking about what Giovanni had said, Vanessa couldn’t help but
smirk. It was a bit bizarre to her that he could be thinking
about his partner with her in his arms, but she didn’t say
anything about it. It was definitely possible she was misreading
whatever was happening between them. As he put his arm around
her, Vanessa smiled and looked up at Giovanni.
Thinking about what Giovanni asked, Vanessa smiled. Well, she
supposed it was a fair question to ask, she had been avoiding
talking about herself. But the truth was, there were a lot of
things she didn’t think were good to tell anyone, not right now
anyway. Maybe one day, she would tell Giovanni all of her dark
secrets, but this was not the time. His question had her raising
an eyebrow at him. “Honestly, I’m kind of up for anything.
What’s there to do around here anyway?” Thinking about it made
Vanessa wish she’d brought her phone. In the end, this was
better though, she was comfortable looking up at the stars in
Giovanni’s arms.

Thinking about what Astrid was saying, Dane smiled. “I take it
Chinese is your absolute favorite thing ever?” While Dane did
prefer Chinese to most things, he also loved variety in his
world. There were just too many things out there he could try.
Watching Astrid as he ate, Dane felt at ease. She was a sweet
girl, and talkative, which meant he might never be bored with
her around. She was wonderful and he was lucky to have met her.
“You’re right about that. I still want to see if this is any
good warmed up though. It’s pretty great.” Dane was shocked that
they’d found such a wonderful Chinese restaurant. It was like a
hidden gem in this city, and Dane wouldn’t have found it without
Astrid around. Things were quiet as they finished eating and
then got everything put away.
Sitting on the bed with Astrid in his arms, Dane smiled. This
fingers ran down her side as he smiled down at the beautiful
woman in his arms. The girl was focused on whatever was on her
phone, making Dane smile as he looked down at her. “So, I was
thinking. Do you want to go do something tomorrow?” Well, they
would have to find something fun to do, but maybe Astrid would
be down for a fun day out with him.
For a while, Dane wasn’t quite sure Astrid would kiss him back.
It was possible he had misread everything. Those doubts crept
into his mind as Astrid didn’t move. Before long, those thoughts
were gone, as Astrid wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed
him back. After a while, the girl pulled backwards. Dane’s mind
was reeling. Kissing Astrid had definitely been a good move. It
had felt right. Hearing Astrid, Dane smiled down at the girl. “I
wouldn’t mind doing it again.” Dane teased, smiling down at
Astrid happily.

Gio nodded at her with a smile. "One day you'll have to visit
Italy, it's a beautiful country, and the people are very
friendly. I think you'd like it there."
Just thinking of his country made Gio feel a pang of
homesickness. It had been almost two years since he had last
visited his family. He really was due to visit them again soon.
He'd have to call his mother and sisters soon, they were
probably worried about him by now. It had been almost two weeks
since his last call home. Maybe he could get Astrid or Nessa to
help him figure out how to work that Skype program tomorrow to a
have some face time with his family. He wondered what his family
would think of the two young women.
He couldn't help but laugh at Vanessa's question. "Not nearly as
much as I'd like," he admitted. "That doesn't make me give up
though. Persistence normally pays off in the long run." he added
with a wide grin.
Her soft words in response to his story about his father had him
look at her closely. Even in the faint moonlight, he could see
how much his story had affected her. "Don't be sad, I have a
feeling he is proud of me and in a much happier place. One day
I'll see him again. I just hope it's not any day soon. There are
things I would like to accomplish in my life first."
Gio couldn't help but eye Vanessa when she reminded him that
Dane wasn't alone. He smirked a bit himself. The way his partner
was eyeing Astrid earlier gave him the idea that he was very
interested in her. "Oh yes I am sure he will be." He said in a
rather amused tone.
As he held her close waiting for her response Gio watched her
face closely. She was such a beautiful woman and despite just
meeting her and spending a few hours talking to her he felt the
urge to kiss the woman. After holding her closely for several
days just watching her sleep he had gotten rather protective of
the woman. He didn't want to let her go anytime soon.
He smiled at her words and tried to recall what sorts of things
he had seen in the town while he and Dane had scouted it out.
"There's an art exhibit going on at the museum tomorrow downtown
if that's something you'd be into doing. It sounded like there'd
be food and champagne involved." he suggested.
After a long moment of holding Vanessa in his arms as they gazed
up at the stars, he let out a happy sigh and moved to pull her
up closer to him slowly. "This night has been most memorable,
may I make it even better? I'd very much like to kiss you if
you'll allow me." he said gazing down into her eyes.

Astrid nodded at Dane. "Absolutely positively my favorite!" She
said twirling the chopsticks in her hands with a big smile.
"Italian is a close second," She added."One day I would love to
go to Italy and have a first-hand experience of the culture and
the cuisine. I hear it's amazing there. I read a lot of traveler
blogs, one day I hope to have one of my own. Sadly I have yet to
travel all that much outside the states. We've gone to Canada
once and Mexico, but that's not really too far out of our
comfort zone." She explained.
She smiled wide at his eager reply to try it warmed up the next
morning. "Same here, normally it just tastes like cardboard the
next day, or worse." She said with a giggle.
Laying in his arms she glanced up at his question and smiled at
the thought that he wanted to do something with her outside of
the hotel room. She considered his question as they kissed and
smiled at his words to her. "Maybe later?" She asked with a
smile.
"Back to your earlier question, I'd love to see more of the town
and see if there are any music events going on. I'm been wanting
to go to a concert for awhile now. the last one Nessa and I went
to, was nearly a year ago. It's been too long. Oh, I should look
at cars too while I'm at it. I'm definitely going to need a way
to get around, I don't mind riding behind Nessa but my hair gets
super messed up. Not to mention my butt hurts like the dickens
after a four or five-hour ride. Plus we will need a way to move
equipment and supplies around better. Especially if we're going
to branch out into hunting down different creatures." She said
as she moved in closer and laid another kiss on his lips and
moaned at the feeling of him under her. "You taste so good, like
ribs and rice."She teased with a smirk. "Maybe we should brush
our teeth? Then we can do more kissing?" She suggested with a
wide smile.

Listening to Giovanni, Vanessa nodded. “I would love to visit
one day.” Thinking about it, Vanessa giggled. “There are a lot
of countries I’d love to visit someday.” Thinking about it,
Vanessa smiled. The girl thought that she’d be able to see more
of the world by hunting, but it hadn’t exactly been the case
yet. One day, hopefully she’d be able to go everywhere she
wanted.
Smiling as she heard Giovanni speaking, Vanessa couldn’t help
smirking. His determined attitude was actually very cute. In
spite of what he said, she definitely thought he would be able
to have most anything he wanted with that determination. “Don’t
you think that there are times when persistence is pointless?”
Normally, there were times when there was no reason to persist,
and she had to wonder if Giovanni ever gave up on things he
wanted.
While the story was a bit sad, Vanessa couldn’t help but smile
up at Giovanni as he spoke. “I just think it’s sad, that it
ended that way. Life is far too short to spend angry at the
people you love.” Maybe it seemed crazy, but there was far too
much heartbreak in Vanessa’s life. She had to believe that there
was more out there for her. That one day she’d only be
surrounded by loved ones, and she wouldn’t ruin that with stupid
fights. Hearing Giovanni talk about their two friends, Vanessa
smiled. Truth was, she was happy someone had a shot at something
real, from what she had seen of the pair before she’d left
anyway.
Looking up at Giovanni, Vanessa couldn’t help wondering what he
was thinking. She was rather comfortable being in his arms like
this, which was sort of rare. Well, a lot of things were rare
when you didn’t let many people close to you. It made things
easier for her. But for some reason, Giovanni was easy to talk
to, and she found herself letting down her guards, wanting him
to like her. Vanessa listened to his idea for an outing and
smiled at him. “That sounds lovely. You sure that’s up your
alley?” Vanessa asked as she raised an eyebrow. Maybe Giovanni
was full of surprises she didn’t realize. Hoenstly, Vanessa
couldn’t wait to get to know him better. If that was something
he wanted anyway.
When Giovanni pulled her up closer to his face, Vanessa smiled.
Vanessa hadn’t expected him to actually ask if he could kiss
her. Hell, she hadn’t even expected him to be interested in her.
It was a surprise that he wanted her, even if this might just be
temporary. Then again, maybe it would end up being more than
that. Vanessa had never clicked with anyone the way she clicked
with Giovanni. Smiling as she looked at him, Vanessa spoke. “If
you want to kiss me, just kiss me, Giovanni.” Vanessa couldn’t
help teasing him a little as she looked at him, waiting for him
to make a move.

Listening to Astrid’s chipper tone, Dane couldn’t help but smile
down at her. “You can always find things to hunt in other
countries. Gio and I always do. It’s a nice way to see the
world.” Dane suggested with a small smile. Her ambitions were
adorable, and Dane truly hoped that she got what she wanted out
of life. The girl definitely deserved the best out of life.
Hearing her say the food always tasted like cardboard made Dane
laugh and nod.
Smiling down at Astrid, Dane couldn’t help being happy with her
in his arms. When the girl started to speak again, Dane couldn’t
help but smile. “A concert would be kind of cool, actually!”
Well, Dane was looking forward to spending the day with Astrid
tomorrow, out of this motel room. As she talked about getting
herself a car, Dane smiled. “That’s a good idea, motorcycles
don’t have a lot of places to store things, unfortunately. Plus
I think those seats are only okay if you’re used to it.” Dane
said with a wink at Astrid.
When the girl moved back in to kiss him again, Dane smiled and
kissed her back happily. After Astrid pulled back, Dane couldn’t
help but chuckle at her words. “You’re right, we should
definitely go brush our teeth.” Dane said with a small smile as
he loosened his grip on Astrid so that she would be able to get
up. After all, he couldn’t move her off of him to get up. For
once, he felt happy, with Astrid here in his arms. He felt like
he could protect Astrid, Dane felt like he needed to keep her
safe from harm. Damn, he was really becoming attached to her,
the more they kissed.

Giovanni smiled at her with a thoughtful look on his face. For a
moment he had the wish that he could be the one to show her
around Italy when she visited. It was a rather wishful thought
he knew. Who knew what would happen once they parted ways. Who
knew what tomorrow would hold? He couldn't help but hope that
someway that this attraction to Vanessa would last and become
more than just a growing infatuation.
"Perhaps when you plan on going you will let me know, I'd love
to be your tour guide and show you all the amazing spots. It is
good to want to travel, there is a big world out there to
explore. I hope you get to travel and see more of it, Vanessa. I
have been to many amazing places myself," He told her gently.
He sighed at her words and thought about it. "Perhaps there are
times that persistence won't win out, but I will always hope
that it will. There are too many lovely things in this world if
you don't fight for them who will? If you give up without a
fight what kind of person are you? I already gave up once and
lost someone close. I'm not going to do it again." He said with
a break in his voice. For a moment he was silent trying to get a
hold of his emotions.
Why was it that he kept opening up so much to this woman? What
was it about her that he felt that he could bare his whole soul
to her? He finally managed to take a deep breath and settle his
emotions and looked back at her when she commented about his
father.
"Yes, I know. I was a stupid child and I didn't know just how
short my time with my father would be. Like an idiot I thought
in time we might work things out but I was too hotheaded to see
that I could be wrong. I am working to change that about myself,
it has been a long process though." He admitted.
Gio saw her smile at his suggestion and raised an eyebrow at her
question. "Why would you ask that? Do you think I am just a
motorcycle lover? I am very much into art and music. Italy is
known for both you know," he teased. "Italy can boast of more
famous artists than most places." He told her with a rather
passionate look in his eyes.
"Michelangelo, Raphael, Leonardo da Vinci, Botticelli, Titian,
Caravaggio, Giotto, Giorgio de Chirico, Giorgione, I could go
on. I was studying the famous Italian painters in college and
writing a thesis on them. I might have been a painter myself."
He replied looking at her closely to see her reaction. "I may
not look like someone that's passionate about the arts but I
very much am. Does that surprise you Vanessa?"
Gio watched as she looked up at him listening to his question
and his eyes flickered in surprise and delight at her words. The
corners of his mouth twitched at her teasing tone and he moved
down to press his lips against her own. He kissed her softly and
gently at first and then pressed more firmly and demanding
against her lips. His hands moved to cup her face and deepened
the kiss even more. He moaned at the feel of her soft lips and
her mouth moving against his and flicked his tongue against
hers. Then he drew back trembling slightly at the feelings
rushing through him.
He mumbled something in Italian to her and then blushed
realizing she couldn't understand him. "You're amazing Vanessa,
I really really like you," He told her softly pressing his lips
to hers again and kissed her softly before forcing himself to
pull away and mumble something unintelligible under his breath.
"The things you do to me," He sighed and laid back breathing
rather heavily with a groan. "I've never felt this way before,"
He added softly and glanced up at her with a strangely intense
look in his eyes. "About anyone."

Astrid listened with interest when Dane told her that he and Gio
had hunted in other countries. She had wanted to do that, but
Vanessa's father had told them to wait another year before they
did. He seemed to think they needed to prepare themselves a
little more before they expanded out further. Sometimes Astrid
couldn't help but think that he was trying to be protective of
them and keep them as close as he could without outright telling
them to stay in the US.
She listened to his laugh and grinned, she could definitely get
used to hearing that laugh she couldn't help but think. It was
nice to just lay there talking to him and enjoy the feel of his
strong arms around her. This is what she had been missing out on
over the last few years. Hunting had almost taken over her whole
life and focus. That was rather sad to her when she thought
about it. There was so much more she could be doing.
"What type of music do you like to listen to?" She asked
curiously. She wondered if their tastes would be different or if
they'd have something else in common. "I kind of like a little
of everything, though don't listen to much country or rap
myself. There are way too many sad songs in country and too much
swearing for my liking in this modern age of rap. Older rap is
all right though. I'd have to say my favorite is rock or
alternative rock." She told him.
Astrid nodded in agreement to Dane's comments about a car being
a good idea. "I've been thinking about it for awhile now, I
noticed there are a lot of car places around the town having
sales this week. So I should be able to get a good deal. Though
it'll be helpful if you come along with me. Seems like car
salesmen like to take advantage of the fairer sex. You can
probably help me get an even better deal." She said smiling at
his wink. "You'd think after five years I'd be used to it by
now," She joked back. "It's probably because I didn't grow up on
the back of a motorcycle like Nessa did."
She nearly went light headed from happiness when he met her kiss
with his own lips. She grinned at his chuckle and nodded her
head. "Not that I don't mind the taste of Chinese, but I think
I'd like to concentrate on you instead of the food." She teased
back easily.
She moved off of him with a smile and slid off the bed and
grabbed his hand tugging on him. "Come on, we can brush
together," She said with a wink. She found for some reason that
leaving his side wasn't something she wanted to do even for a
few moments.
She moved to grab her toiletry bag from the top of her suitcase
and waited for him with an eager look on her face. "I should
warn you," She said eyeing him. "When I'm not passed out I tend
to move around in my sleep. I figured you'd want to know if you
planned on sharing the bed tonight." She told him watching his
face closely to see his reaction to this news.

hinking about what Giovanni was saying, Vanessa couldn’t help
but smile. “I would love that. I’m sure you’d be an amazing tour
guide.” Vanessa found herself jealous that Giovanni got to
travel so much. She only wished she could travel half as much as
Giovanni did. One day, maybe she would.
As she listened to Giovanni, Vanessa went silent. He seemed to
have a lot of things that he kept hidden. It was a good thing
that he wanted to tell her all of this. Maybe it meant
something, maybe they’d have a shot at something real. Who knew
what the future held for them? It was easy to trust one another,
which was kind of a big step if she thought about it. “It sucks,
losing someone you care about, someone you trust with
everything. I’m so sorry, Giovanni.” Vanessa said with a sigh.
Her past, well, it was messy, but maybe one day, she’d tell
Giovanni all about it.
“I’m sorry you never had the chance to mend it.” Vanessa
couldn’t really think of anything else to say, but she reached
up and ran her fingers through his hair. It was kind of nice,
feeling like this for someone. Giggling as she thought about his
reaction to her words, Vanessa smiled. “I didn’t say that. I
just didn’t expect that. You surprise me… A lot.” Smiling as she
watched Giovanni’s eye sort of change as he seemed to get more
passionate, Vanessa spoke softly. “You seem to be passionate
about a lot of things. It’s nice.” Vanessa smiled as she looked
up at Giovanni.
When Giovanni leaned in to kiss her, Vanessa couldn’t help
smiling against his lips before she kissed him back. His lips on
hers felt amazing. It felt right. Her arms moved to wrap around
his neck as she ran her fingers through his hair. As the kiss
was deepened, Vanessa kissed back, loving every moment of it.
Finally pulling back, Vanessa caught her breath a bit as she
listened to Giovanni talking in Italian. When he spoke, Vanessa
couldn’t help but smile at him. “I really really like you too,
Giovanni.” Before she could say anything else, he was kissing
her again, and she was kissing him back. Giggling as she heard
him speak, Vanessa smiled. “I drive you crazy, don’t I?” Vanessa
couldn’t help but tease Giovanni. She laid her head back on his
chest as she listened to him speak to her. “I’ve never felt this
way before either.” Vanessa smiled, thinking about what he had
said to her. “It’s the weirdest thing. Having a sort of instant
connection with someone. I kinda want to see what comes of it
though. It could be the best thing to ever happen.” Vanessa said
with a small smile as she looked up at Giovanni.

Hearing Astrid, Dane smirked. “I like all music, except for
rap.” Honestly, Dane was very passionate about music, he even
played guitar. Rap wasn’t music to him though. “I actually know
how to play guitar.” Dane found it easy to talk to Astrid, which
was kind of a nice thing. Everything with her seemed so easy,
which was wonderful.
When she talked about the cars again, Dane couldn’t help smiling
down at her. He nodded. The girl was right, and he definitely
knew people took advantage of women, especially salesmen. “I can
definitely help you get a great deal if you want.” Honestly,
Dane wouldn’t mind going to dealerships with Astrid all day
until she found her perfect car, he just wanted to be near her.
“Bikes are hard to get used to though, doll.” Dane said with a
smile at the girl.
Thinking about what had happened made Dane smile. He was lucky
with Astrid being into him like he was into her. It was
wonderful. He chuckled at her tease, smiling down at her. Before
long, she moved off of him and took his hand, making Dane smile
as he stood up as well. Getting his toothbrush and toothpaste
from his bag, Dane walked back over to the bathroom with Astrid.
As Astrid spoke, Dane smiled down at her. It sounded cute, even
if a little uncomfortable for him. “I’m sure it’ll be okay. If
you still want me beside you, that is?” Dane didn’t mind, he
just wanted to stay close to Astrid, no matter what. The girl
had him wrapped around her little finger, and Dane was loving
every moment of it.

Giovanni smiled at Vanessa's words and thought about what sorts
of places he might take her if he were her tour guide. He shook
the thoughts out of his head and forced himself back to the
present. "Thank you, Vanessa." He replied. He had the thought
that she probably wish she could travel more than she did. "I am
sure you will travel to many places, and see a lot of wonderful
things. Don't let go of your dreams. They can come true." He
told her softly. "Sure the world is crazy and chaotic with the
work we do, but sometimes you just have to step back from all
that and remind yourself of just why you chose this way of life.
If you don't remind yourself of the beauty around you, you may
burn out and get way too jaded."
Gio could tell by her words that she knew from a rather personal
experience just how he felt. He was a bit sad to think that such
a young woman had gone through such a tragic thing. He nodded at
her words and let out a sigh. "Thank you for saying that." He
said softly. "The few people I've opened up to about that never
seemed to know what to say."
Gio nodded his head at her next words. He watched her raise her
hand towards his head and sighed as her fingers went through his
hair. He could feel himself calm down even more at her touch.
He couldn't help but chuckle at her words to him. "I am full of
surprises," He admitted with an almost mischievous glint in his
eyes. "Yes, I have a lot of passions." He agreed. "I hope to
show you more of them soon."
Gio's lips were still tingling from their kisses after he was
done talking. His eyes darkened at her words and couldn't help
but kiss her back even more passionately. He couldn't help but
laugh at her comment about driving him crazy. "Yes, but it's a
good type of crazy," He assured her wrapping his arms around her
a bit more tightly.
He couldn't help but sigh at her response, her words sweet to
his ears. "I agree, there's something special there. Something
much more than I've ever experienced myself. I want to as well,
I have a very good feeling about us Bellissimo." He told her
softly and drew her in for another long kiss. He just couldn't
seem to get enough of the woman's sweet lips.

Astrid was rather amused to hear Dane's reply to her question
about music. "well I could go a long time without listening to
rap music if I had to," She admitted with a smile.
Her face lit up when he told her he could play guitar. "That is
totally awesome! Maybe someday you can play for me." She
suggested with a big grin on her face.
She nodded at Dane's words blushing slightly at his calling her
doll. She'd never really had a guy use pet names before. "Tell
me about it," She said sighing a bit overdramatically. "My first
long trip I was walking bowlegged for days," She said with a
laugh.
Astrid couldn't help but smile at the happy look on Dane's face
after she had teased him. She walked slowly to the bathroom
looking over her shoulder at him with a smile filling her face.
She was smirking and grinning as they got their toothbrushes
ready.
She was watching Dane in the mirror but glanced up at him when
he moved to shoot a smile in her direction. Her face flushed
slightly at his words. "Yes, I very much do." She admitted in a
soft tone. She could feel her whole body get warm from the
thought of Dane's body next to hers for the entire night. It was
going to be torture she realized, sweet torture to lay next to
him and not touch. She closed her eyes and flushed even darker
at that thought. She suddenly wished for the first time that
Vanessa wouldn't return for the night and stay out as long as
she wanted.
She opened her eyes and made short work of brushing her teeth
though made sure not to brush too hard. Once that chore as done
she rinsed out her mouth put a hand to hid it when she spat into
the sink and moved around Dane slowly. She felt her leg brush
against him and let out a small groan. It was definitely going
to a torturous night for her.

Thinking about all the traveling they could do, Vanessa smiled.
Giovanni seemed so well traveled. Heck, Vanessa was honestly
quite jealous about it. Traveling was a dream for her. “You
sound like you speak from experience.” Vanessa said as she
looked up at Giovanni with a smile.
Listening to Giovanni, Vanessa smiled. It was weird that they
clicked like this, but it was also sort of nice to have someone
who understood. “There are some things that no one can really
find words to express. Even when you’re in it, sometimes there’s
nothing to say.” Vanessa smiled as she looked up at Giovanni,
choosing to ignore the feelings bubbling up inside of her just
thinking about it. Vanessa couldn’t help but smile at his
chuckle. Vanessa watched him as he spoke to her, telling her
he’d love to show her more of his passions soon. “I’d like that.
Well, getting to know you, anyway.” The future was uncertain.
Vanessa didn’t know if whatever they had would last once they
parted ways, but she was open to trying to see what came of
these feelings.
Vanessa couldn’t help giggling as she heard Giovanni say she
drove him crazy in a good way. Whatever this was, it felt right.
Oddly enough, she’d never been more sure of anything, even if it
might not come to anything. The girl smiled, thinking about his
words. “You’re a bit of a romantic, aren’t you?” Vanessa teased.
“I have a good feeling about this too, though. I guess we’ll see
where it takes us in time.” Vanessa said with a smile. When he
kissed her, she kissed him back rather passionately.

Listening to Astrid, Dane couldn’t help smiling at her. It was
cute that she was willing to not listen to a type of music for
him. “If you want me to, I can.” Well, not for a while anyway,
his guitar was back at his apartment in Portland. But
eventually, he wanted to play for Astrid. Maybe even write a
song for her, if things continued to go well for them. After
all, he really liked her. She deserved the best of everything he
could possibly give her.
Dane couldn’t help but chuckle at Astrid talking about how
riding a bike wasn’t really for her. He couldn’t blame her, the
girl was smaller, and most women couldn’t handle a motorcycle,
or rode one just to attract biker guys. Well, of course, it
showed in the upkeep of bikes. As they walked to the bathroom,
Dane couldn’t help smiling down at Astrid. The girl was
gorgeous, and he knew how lucky he was that she liked him back.
Smiling as he heard Astrid’s answer, Dane chuckled. “I can’t
wait to hold you in my arms again.” Dane said with a small smile
as he looked at her. He brushed his teeth beside Astrid quickly.
After they were done, Dane leaned down and kissed Astrid
passionately for a long while.

Giovanni nodded at her words. "Yes, despite how young I am I
have had a lot of vast experiences in my life. Some of them good
and some bad. I am glad to say the good ones have won out over
all." He replied getting a rather relaxed look on his face. He
couldn't explain why, but just telling her about his past and
the things he'd been through was almost freeing.
The way she looked up at him with her dark eyes and that soft
smile on her face as she listened to him made him think that she
knew exactly how he felt. He nodded at her words. "That is
true."he agreed.
Gio's eyes softened at her and smiled running a hand down her
cheek. "I'm glad to hear that He told her softly. He could tell
that she was still uncertain where things might go and he could
understand that. After all, they both had work that was
dangerous and they could be called off at any moment to deal
with some sort of job. It was nice to know that she wanted to
spend time just getting to know him better.
Her infectious giggle had him smiling even wider. "Oh yes. I am
the die hard romantic, to the core." He agreed with her teasing.
"I will try not to rush you too much then." He promised sensing
that she was still the cautious type despite her wanting to see
where things would go with them.
He really could get used to her kisses he couldn't help but
think when she kissed him back so quickly showing him just how
much passion she had herself. After a few more kisses Gio had to
pull himself back with a sigh. "I'd love to kiss you all night
long, but I imagine you are wanting a shower sometime soon. We
should head back." He suggested.
Then he got up slowly and pulled her to her feet. He gathered up
the trash and the blanket and stashed the stuff into his carrier
on the back of his motorcycle. Then they both started up their
bikes and rode back towards the hotel. The cool night air on his
face was rather refreshing. He felt almost invigorated when they
pulled up the trailer at the back of the hotel. They stashed the
motorcycles back inside and he locked it up. He offered her his
hand and they walked back to the hotel room together.

Astrid grinned wider at Dane when he said he'd play for her if
she wanted him to. "I would, I imagine though that you can't
very well travel with it. So I guess I'll take a raincheck on
the private concert." She told him very much liking the idea of
him playing for only her.
His chuckle at her story about not being able to ride a
motorcycle very well had her raising an eyebrow at him. She
shrugged though, realizing it was a rather funny story. She
caught his beaming happy smile to her as they walked to the
bathroom and couldn't help but grin back.
"You seem like a rather happy guy," She commented with a slight
smirk. "I happen to find that very attractive. You have a killer
smile, Dane."
Astrid's eyes widened at Dane's answer and felt a shiver go up
her spine. Just hearing those words made her feel as though she
was the luckiest girl in the world. It was a rather nice
feeling.
She was a bit surprised but very pleased when Dane moved in to
kiss her. She moaned in bliss and wrapped her arms around his
neck and drew him across the hotel room to the bed. "You're
going to make it very difficult for me to sleep tonight," She
teased him as she slipped onto the bed and settled in to curl
around him when he got on the bed next to her. She sighed
happily running her hand up his side and laid her face close to
his own. "I don't really mind all that much to be honest," She
admitted softly and brushed a kiss against his cheek. "I'll
survive, somehow."

[/center]Lights flashed dramatically over the stage, smoke
wafted across it and a loud electric guitar solo began playing.
The other instruments joined in and a moment later the band
members playing walked out of the smoke as their hard rock music
drifted through the air. Crowds of people pressed around the
fenced in area that was reserved for several private tents near
the front of the stage. A few of the people behind the fence
cast envious glances at the back of the tents wondering just who
had been lucky enough to snag them.
Inside two of the four tents, both couples were reclining on
full sized mattresses in a tent of their own, enjoying the
concert in comfort. The three-day long and three-night concert
experience was a brand new event to the US. Each day would be
filled from the best bands in Rock, Country and Pop. It was
definitely a once in a lifetime type of musical experiences, and
all four of them were enjoying it immensely.
It had been rather lucky of them to get the last two tents, both
girls had no clue that the guys knew one of the band members
personally and that had gotten them so close to the concert. The
guys planned on surprising them later when they took the girls
to meet their friend when the band was done playing. For the
next half hour, they enjoyed the music glad for a chance to
relax and not worry about a job or any supernatural related
work.

The past few days had been amazing. Vanessa had spent a lot of
her spare time with Giovanni, and it felt perfect. Being with
him was refreshing, but it was also something more special than
anything she’d ever felt. Maybe it was the beginnings of true
love. Hell, Vanessa didn’t really know. Now they were at a
concert, and she was laying in his arms listening to the music
with a smile. They had the best tents in the entire area. While
most everyone else had tents further out, and had to walk to the
fence to stand, she got to lay in bed in a tent. Life was
perfect.
Looking up at Giovanni, Vanessa smiled. “I’ve been having such a
great time with you, Giovanni. I’m so glad we met, and that I
get to kiss you whenever I want.” Vanessa teased, smiling at
him. “You make me happier than anyone in the world.” Maybe it
was weird that she was being so sweet to him, but he was
managing to steal her heart with every passing moment. She
didn’t want what they had to ever end. Honestly, it felt like it
was just meant to be, like they belonged together.

Laying in the bed in their tent, with Astrid in his arms, Dane
couldn’t feel happier. He’d been spending all of his spare time
with Astrid. It was nice, relaxing with Astrid. There was
something about her that made Dane never want to let her go.
When she’d suggested going to this concert experience, Dane had
jumped at the chance to impress her with the best possible tent,
which was a lucky break by them helping out one of the bands in
the show. Honestly, Dane couldn’t wait to surprise Astrid with
the chance to meet the band.
Smiling down at Astrid as the concert went on, Dane couldn’t
help feeling relaxed. The girl in his arms had a way of making
his calm down. He’d never been so happy with her. Smiling down
at Astrid, Dane spoke to her, hoping she would be able to hear
him. “Be mine?” Thinking about what he said, Dane smiled. “I
know that sounds crazy, but I’ve never been happier than when
I’m with you, and I don’t want to lose that. Or you.” Well, it
was possible that Astrid would call him crazy, but Dane had a
good feeling about what was happening between the two of them.

Giovanni's mind wandered over the past few days that he had
spent with the woman at his side. The memories of their date at
the art show had him smiling. He hadn't been prepared for how
well she had cleaned up and his eyes had nearly popped out of
his head when he had seen here in that blue dress she had worn.
He had almost thought she had worn it to see how it might affect
him. The woman was something of a tease after all.
The date had just gotten better after that. It seemed as though
every guy and lady at the place couldn't seem to keep their eyes
off of Gio's date which had made him rather pleased to be by her
side. He had thought the pleased look on her face at all the
attention had been rather adorable. She knew she was beautiful
that was true, but she didn't go about boasting it or showing
off like the other women there. Some of their dresses had been
downright shocking.
He was brought out of his memories when Vanessa caught his
attention by moving in closer and looking up at him. He smiled
back at her words, pleased that she was so happy to be with him.
"I am so glad to hear it, Bellissimo," He told her softly and
moved a stray hair out of her face. "I rather enjoy the kisses
myself," He added. "It is hard to not kiss you."
He sighed and ran a hand up her neck and angled her face closer
to his and kissed her deeply. He pulled back with a smile on his
face. "You do the same to me, dear Vanessa. I don't think I ever
want to let you go."
He knew that it was still early in the relationship and all, but
he had the feeling that they had the chance at something life
changing. He'd just have to try and take his time in convincing
her that he was serious about her. Falling for her had been
easy, it was the next part that would be a bit harder for him.
Especially with the type of work he did. Though seeing as she
did the same work she might be more understanding than other
women. At least with her, he could actually explain things and
not be afraid it would scare her off.

Astrid couldn't recall a happier day in her life. She was laying
in the arms of a man she was falling head over heels for and
enjoying some of her favorite music. Who could ask for anything
better? It had been fate that she had noticed that flier in the
car showroom when her and Dane had been looking over cars. On a
whim she had called up Vanessa and asked her if she and Gio
would be up for going to it. Once they had both agreed, Astrid
had called up the number on the flier to get tickets. It had
been rather annoying to her that the line had been busy. Dane
had assured her that he'd take care of getting tickets so she
had nodded and hung up.
She had worked on signing a ton of papers in the office while
Dane kept calling and took care of getting tickets. She had been
rather grateful for his taking care of it and for all his help
in getting the car salesman to go down price. He was rather good
at haggling which impressed her a great deal.
At his words her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open in
shock and surprise. She listened to his explaining trying to
calm her racing heart and get her tongue and mouth working to
reply to him. "Y-yes Dane. I'd love to be yours. I-I would be so
glad to be yours, for now and always." She said half trembling
with joy. "You'll never lose me, ever." She told him and moved
in to kiss him more passionately than she ever had before.

Smiling up at Giovanni as she listened to him, Vanessa couldn't
help but be happy. It was insane that he made her feel that way,
but the time she spent with him only managed to intensify what
she felt for him. Hell, in general it was weird for her to be
feeling any sort of emotion for any guy. It was kind of her
thing, just to avoid being hurt. She giggled, hearing him say it
was hard not to kiss her. "Why resist, then?" Vanessa teased
with a small smile.
Kissing him back passionately, Vanessa closed her eyes happily.
When he pulled away, Vanessa smiled and leaned her head back on
his chest happily. Vanessa couldn't help but giggle as she
thought about what he had said to her. Smirking up at him,
Vanessa spoke softly. "Well, I'm yours if you want me." Vanessa
teased with a small smile as she looked at Giovanni, wondering
what he would say about that. Hell, she didn't even know why she
felt so comfortable with Giovanni. Falling for him had been
easier than anything in her life. Like maybe it was meant to be,
or something. In spite of her feelings, Vanessa wasn't sure
whether or not this would be a good whatever, or if it would
even last once they parted ways, but Vanessa figured it might be
worth it to try. Hell, what was wrong with one more shot at
love? Especially when this time it felt a lot stronger, a lot

As the music played, Dane smiled. This was perfect. He wasn't
sure how Astrid was taking his question, but he had wanted to
try. Hell, he'd never felt so great about anyone. This was
something special, like nothing he had experienced with anyone
before. It felt like this was something worth keeping. When he
heard Astrid. Dane's heart leapt out of his chest. He almost
couldn't believe that she'd said yes.
Dane didn't get the chance to respond to her words as she leaned
in to kiss him rather passionately. Dane kissed her back,
pulling her closer to him as he deepened the kiss. When he
finally pulled away, Dane smiled down at Astrid. "You've made me
the happiest man alive, Astrid my darling." Dane said with a
smile as he looked down at her.

Giovanni could tell by the way she was smiling up at him that
she was about to tease him. Not that he ever minded. It was
actually rather cute when she teased him he found. He smirked at
her question.
He lost himself in her responding passionate kiss. He sighed as
he reclined back and felt her lay against his chest. He could
hear giggling and glanced down to look at her. Her response had
his heart stop for a moment. "Are you serious Bellissimo?" He
asked looking at her with a very surprised look on his face.
"I do want you, very much." He assured her and held her close.
"I am very serious when I tell you this. I don't know what job
might come up for us next, but I want to be with you no matter
where it might take me."

Astrid lost herself in the return kiss that Dane gave her. It
was the most passionate kisses she'd ever experienced in her
life. She felt like her entire body was filled with fireworks
going off. When he pulled back from her she stared up at him
with a big smile on her face. "You've made me the happiest woman
ever!" She replied with a slightly over excited cry and launched
herself at him to kiss him again rather hungrily.
She pulled back almost light headed and sucked in a deep breath.
"Wow, I don't think I'll ever get enough of that." She said with
a huge smile on her face. She moved to snuggle closer to him
wanting to be as close as she could to him as physically
possible. "We should get some drinks to celebrate." She
suggested ad grinned up at him. "Oh! I should tell Nessa! She'd
want to know!"

As she laid relaxing in Giovanni’s arms, Vanessa smiled. The
music quieted as the artists talked, and Vanessa looked up at
Giovanni. Hearing his question, and seeing the surprised look on
his face, Vanessa couldn’t help wondering what he was thinking.
She blushed and nodded a little. All Vanessa could do was listen
as she tried to process what Giovanni was telling her. It was
actually pretty cute, and it sort of sounded like he wanted to
try to make a relationship between them work, even with their
jobs. But that couldn’t be what he meant, could it?
Thinking about what he had said, Vanessa couldn’t help smiling
up at Giovanni. “So, does this mean you want me to be your
girlfriend?” Taking his hand as she laid there, Vanessa couldn’t
help smiling. “I don’t know what the future might hold, but I
have a good feeling about us.” Thinking about it as she looked
at Giovanni, Vanessa smiled. “Being with you is different than
anything I’ve ever known. It’s worth finding out what it could
be.” Vanessa said.

Listening to Astrid, Dane couldn’t help but smile down at her.
Her words had him smiling like a fool. He’d honestly never been
happier than with Astrid. It felt like fate that they had met.
If it was at all possible, Dane thought he might never let the
woman go. It was like she was his soul mate, completely meant to
be his alone. Maybe that was crazy, he just felt like this was
meant to be. “I’m so glad we were lucky enough to meet.” Dane
said as he looked down at the beautiful woman in his arms.
Dane returned her kiss with as much passion as possible as he
pulled her a little closer to him. He chuckled at her words,
nodding. Dane knew the feeling very well. He was lucky enough to
be able to continue doing that with her at every chance. Hearing
her words, Dane couldn’t help smiling. “We absolutely should.”
There were tons of drink vendors on site, and one specifically
for the four private tents. “You can tell her later. For now,
let’s go get drinks and celebrate our relationship.” Smiling as
he looked down at Astrid, Dane leaned in to kiss the girl again,
celebrating their new relationship.

Giovanni's heart jumped in his chest at her question and he
pulled her up to look her in the eyes. "Yes, yes I do. With all
my heart." He told her with sincerity.
He tightened his hand around hers enough to squeeze it and
lifted it to kiss the back of her hand softly. "Nor do I, but I
do know together we have a much better chance at happiness." He
told her his eyes shining at her words. "I have a very good
feeling about us and what could come in the future for us."
His eyes softened further at her telling him how different it
was being with him. He couldn't help but wonder what might have
happened in her previous relationships that kept them from being
more. "I agree. I can't wait to see what could happen for us. I
am very much looking forwards to spending my time with you."
He suddenly got an idea and smiled wider at her. "Shall we
celebrate? I can get us some drinks so we can drink to our
future. What would you like me to get for you?" He asked gazing
into her dark brown eyes.

Astrid's face almost ached with how much she was smiling. She
knew she'd have to get used to it, it seemed Dane made her smile
ten times more than she normally did. "I am too," She told him
softly. "I can't think of what life was like before meeting you.
Or maybe I just don't want to. Either way, my life is much
better with you in it Dane." She said with a happy sigh.
Her toes curled at his returned kiss and she moaned into his
mouth with pleasure. She grinned at his chuckle. "Oh goodie! I'm
not much of an alcohol drinker, but I do like a good champagne.
Or wine cooler. I hope that's not too tame for your taste." She
said with a grin.
She couldn't help but nod in agreement in waiting to tell her
friend later. "Okay, do you want me to come with you?" She asked
glancing down at her abandoned strap on sandals. "I probably
need my shoes.." She sighed and wiggled her toes.
She smiled and lost herself in his next kiss and tugged his
shirt to pull him even closer. When she pulled away she shot him
a rather lustful look. "We could celebrate in a different way
later," She suggested running a finger down his chest and
playing with one of the buttons on his shirt. "That is..if
you're ready for that side of things already."
