Solis noted how the kids eyes flashed as he heard him. “Ohhh one
of those things.” He said and grabbed some chains he found with
silver wrapped him up to be the one kicking him out with the
others.”keep the silver on that asshole!” He yelled out.
Ezra blinked a bit and let go of Jalal as he moved over to
atreaus- “sorry for the grab- I had to be quick.” He told the
boy. He tuned for the water and gently washed it over the boys
back, making sure it was free of debris and using the fire to
make sure it was warm water.He gently waved his hand over as he
went for the boys back.”the pain will take time to go.. but the
blood we can stop. “ said Jalal as the wounds closed.
Solis joined the group, not caring about letting his gift out
that time.. cause he knew kidnapped kids were often on a time
limit. “Bet halder will take them in.. he’s a good guy my
uncle.” He said with a grin.
He could tell the boys were untrusting and didn’t blame
them.”don’t worry- you’re in good hands.” He told the
boys.”especially the man before you- saved wild child from
drowning.” Ezra made a face.”why can’t you just call her Eden.”
Solis looked at Ezra.”what ever you say double trouble.” Ezra
made another one.”Ezra!” He told him flatly.”and I’m sorry.. I
know I was suppose to stay out but …”
Jalal made a serious look.”I get it.. small animals that get
trapped is tempting to free- but those things are traps Ezra.”
He told the boy and bent down a little, checking the boy over
and letting don’t do it again. Get me or Solis.. we can free
those little creatures, you got very lucky today.”Ezra dipped
his head some and nodded. “Solis take him back to the others,
I’ll go with Namor.” He said and looked at the three boys.”let
Caltharas know what happened.” Solis nodded as he put his hand
on Ezra’s back to lead him away. The boy gotten lucky with a few
scrapes and a bit shaken but fine.
After a little walk Jalal and namor got the boys to the
cottage. Jalal was looking them over and fixing what he within
his own skills could do. But he knew the mental damage was
something that would take time. He wondered about Orpheus
helping with that and looked at namor a little. He couldn’t help
it a little. Now that things were calmed down he could check the
man out a little.
The man was just his type, well one of them. It been 5 decades
since his last relationship, and it was time to move on.”so…
namor, how long have you lived around here?” He asked as he was
giving atreaus one more careful look over. He let the boy know
he was gonna need to eat, and gave the kid a small clear
candy.”trust me, you’ll need the sugar.” He told the boy. He
managed to make little hard candies with some practice. Eden and
Ezra seemed to like them- so he kept them on him.
Meanwhile Solis managed to make it to the beach. He noticed Eden
simply just pouting by the water, kind of crouched and messing
with a crab. Ezra saw this and kind of felt the guilt then made
a face to walk over a bit. “Hey! Stop pouting!” She heard her
head wheeling and crashed into her twin.”I’m sorry! I promise I
won’t do anything dumb again!” She said before she felt a small
flick on her forehead.”ow!” Ezra made his own look.”you were
dumb tuning yourself in the water- I was dumb cause I fell for a
trap, it’s not your fault.” He told her. Solis walked to
Caltharas and told him what happened.”also one of those boys has
an ability.” He mumbled to him under his breath.”may be a fae
blood of some kind..” he said to him.

Atreus blinked looking up at the man that had rescued him. "Hey
don't worry I'll be okay." Atreus was a bit surprised and
relaxed when he felt the man cleaning up his back using warm
water. He felt a strange tingle shoot up him when the wounds
started to heal and closed up. It was the strangest and most
impactful thing that had ever happened to him before. No adult
in his life had ever treated him kindly or healed him.
"I'm used to the pain, it doesn't bother me as much as it slows
me down," Atreus replied honestly.
Einar and Hama flinched and shot looks at one another when Solis
once more appeared out of nowhere. "You think they're magical or
something?" Hama asked in a low voice, eyeing the sun mark on
Jalal's forehead.
"I'm not sure, but if Atreus trust them, that says a lot. YOu
know how paranoid he is," Einar replied softly.
They relaxed rather visibly when the red-haired teen mentioned
the name, Halder. The man being so famous meant he was well
known all over.
"General Halder is your Uncle?" Einar asked, an impressed and
intrigued look on his face.
"Okay, well lead the way then," Hama added, relaxing a bit more
when he heard the huge burly Namor was a rescuer and not a
pervert.
With his back now healed, Atreus drew away from Hama and towards
Ezra and his father, listening as they spoke of the animal
traps. "Your father's right kiddo, they pick animals to tug at
kids' pure hearts. Don't feel bad about trying to do the right
thing, just make sure you learn from it." HE added and ruffled
Ezra's red hair gently.
Namore waited patiently until the boys were ready to travel,
thinking about how there needed to be a better presence on the
island to keep would-be child traffickers from doing this again.
There were too many boats tha came and went unchecked. He'd have
to bring this up later with the Emperor.
Once they were in his small cottage, he directed the young men
to sit on the chairs and his bed so Jalal could look them over a
bit more. He started to pull out some food to cook, thinking of
how starved and skinny they all looked.
"What are you making?" Einar asked coming over once he'd gotten
checked out.
"It's a fish stew, it's not the most amazing thing, but it'll be
filling at least," Namor replied glancing over at him. It was a
bit amusing that the young guy was the same height as he was.
He'd gotten used to looking down at people due to his almost
size.
Now that he was looking at them a bit more closely, he could
tell that Hama was the oldest, Einar was somewhere between him
and Atreus was the youngest. He smiled when he heard Jalal's
question.
"I've been here for about five months so far. I was hired to fix
up the pier and a few things in the vacation homes. I usually
stay for as long as it takes to fix things up and go on to the
next place. It seems like there's a lot that needs to be fixed
here," he explained and shot a grin at the handsome man.
"Well it smells delicious already, simple foods better than what
we usually got," Einar murmured. His stomach growled in
agreement, making the young man's face go a bit red. He couldn't
help but glance between Namor and Jalal's exchange, smiling a
bit.
Atreus eyed the candy Jalal held out and then accepted it and
stuck it in his mouth. "Thanks," He said as the hard candy
clacked against his teeth. The sweetness helped settle the
dizziness that had been bugging him. He moved to lean against
Hama's broad shoulder and let out a sigh, his eyes closing for
all of two seconds.
"Shit! We forgot about Lucas! We have to go find him! Those
bastards that bought him are probably trying to get off the
island!" Atreus exclaimed, sitting up hurriedly and tried
getting to his feet. He swayed a bit, and Hama pulled him back
onto the bed. "You're staying here with Einar. You need rest,"
"Who is this Lucas you're so worried about?" Namor asked looking
at the young men and Atreus.
"He is much younger, probably a year older than his son," Hama
said jerking his thumb at Jalal. "Our...the master sold him a
few hours before you rescued us. Atreus got really close to him;
always protecting and keeping the Master from hurting Lucas as
much. It's possible we can catch the bastard Jungle guy that
bought him if we hurry."
"If word got to him about the Dhampir being caught..he might get
away. They had a ship on the south side of the island..and were
planning on leaving in the morning." Einar brought up.
Namor let out a curse, pulling his apron off and tossing it at
Einar. "Make sure you two get enough to eat, sounds like Jalal,
Hama and I have some more rescuing to do." He said in a
determined tone.
Namor quickly pulled on a pair of boots, pulled out two daggers
and his flintlock rifle, and donned a leather vest. "Let's get
moving," He said handing over one of the daggers to Hama and
hurried out the cottage door, moving as quickly as he could
towards the south side of the island.
Hama was able to keep up with the older man; though the other
one..zipped off ahead of them. "How is he doing that?" He asked.
"He's a tuner, he's using the wind to help move him faster,"
Namor replied.
They got to the docking area just in time to see the ship a good
fifteen feet in the air.
"Dam.nit!" Namor cursed and then spied a small airship docking a
few feet away. There was one man on it, slowly tying his ship
down.
"We'll catch up shortly Jalal!" He yelled after the tuner and
hurried towards the other ship with Hama just a bit behind him.

After Eden's mishap within the ocean water, Caltharas and Tahvia
had insisted on the kids staying close to them. They were
keeping an extra eye out on Eden, only a few feet away from
where she was gently poking the crab. Had she been hurting the
crab, CCaltharas would have put an end to it.
Snow and Adan had felt worried when Solis and Jalal had rushed
off in search of Ezra. Snow had wanted to go and help but had
complied with Solis' request to keep an eye on the others. He
and Adan were closely watching Eden as well and were starting to
realize that she got into a great deal of mischief if left
alone.
Adan had tried to get her interested in watching the sandpiper
birds as they scurried over the pink sand looking for food. It
seemed even that hadn't helped bring her out of her sad mood.
"Oh thank the gods!" Tahvia exclaimed making everyone look up to
see SOlis approaching with Ezra by his side.
Snow and Adan couldn't help but chuckle while watching Eden and
Ezra greet one another, especially when Ezra flicked his sister
in the forehead.
"Where's Jalal?" Adan asked softly, realizing the man wasn't
back. That was a bit puzzling to him. He got up to go listen in
on what Solis was saying to the Emperor.
Caltharas was more than a little stunned and disturbed to learn
there had been a dhampir so close to his children. The creature
could have taken any of them, it just happened to be Ezra that
had been lured away. He knew he and Tahvia would need to sit the
kids down later and tell them to not approach a trapped animal
in the future.
"Thank you for letting me know, Solis. Oh? Really? Well, I'll
see if Ryvel and Orpheus can help aid them when we're back at
the manor." He replied thoughtfully/
"So..Jalal stayed with them?" Adan asked.
Caltharas nodded. "Yes. I hope none of them were hurt too badly.
Why don't you gather the others, we'll go get some lunch and
hopefully, Jalal will be back by the time we finish,"
Adan nodded and hurried back to Eden, Ezra, and the rest of the
kids. He felt a gust of wind rush around him and came to a halt,
turning to see Solis was gone. Maybe he'd been called away by
Jalal again? He continued on and told Snow and the others they
were heading back to the Beach Manor for lunch.

A very shaken and pissed-off Zan was muttering and tying his
ship to the dock.
"What the hell was their problem? They nearly took out my main
mast!" Zan complained aloud to himself as he fussed with the
rope. "Mother fuc.kers being in such a hurry..ought to be shot
down!"
He shot a glare up at the ship and turned back right as a huge
muscular man jumped onto his ship, and announced. "We're taking
this ship, you can either help or get off."
"Excuse me but that ain't gonna fly crazy as.shat!" Zan shot
back, and reached back for his tattooed blades, very much
itching for a fight.
"We don't have time for this, that ship up there is carrying a
victim of Child trafficking!" The man shot back, his eyes
flashing and his nostrils flaring.
Zan paused, his eyebrows rising. He blinked..seeing the familiar
flash of red hair speeding past and turned to follow its path
towards the ship. A few moments later, another flash headed past
his ship. "Shit..that's Jalal and Solis!"
A second set of feet thudded onto his ship. "Come on..please we
gotta save Lucas!" A very familiar, but older-sounding voice
exclaimed, sounding a bit winded and desperate.
"Hama!" Zan exclaimed seeing the older face of his old friend.
"Of course..help me untie the airship," He said and moved
quickly to untie the ropes closest to him.
It seemed that the other guy wasn't about to wait and he stepped
back in alarm when the man cut through the ropes. "No time for
untying..we gotta go!" In a matter of seconds the ship was back
in the air and swiftly rising as Zan unfurled the sails and the
wind tuning device was turned on.
"What happened to you Hama? I came back to the Tundra last year
and your clan was just gone." Zan had to half yell as the ship
pursued the other one going as fast as he could make it.
Namor had to grab onto the railing to the side of where Zan was
steering the ship, and Hamagrabbed onto Zan's waist so he wasn't
pulled off his feet. Neither complained at the speed that Zan
was using.
"There was a war between my clan and the Huns, they killed
pretty much everyone. They found me half-dead and decided to
sell me off to a dam.n dhampir. I just got rescued a little
while ago." Hama yelled back. "Lucas was sold off to some
perverted jungle official this morning. If you had seen the
looks he was giving Lucas..." Hama trailed off when Zan's ship
caught up to the bigger airship, with only a foot between them.
"Gotta go!" He added and followed Namor and jumped the short
distance and into the chaotic fight going on on the upper deck.

Jalal smiled some hearing the answer.”ah I see- I use to travel
lots but ended up in audora for my kids safety. Least I know
there’s things I can do around here than just stay in a cottage
by myself.” He said to chuckle.
He watched as atreaus relaxed to almost jump out of his own skin
and made a serious look. Of course Jalal took off and once he
hit the pier started a blond man and did some hand signs to take
off and an another to call for Solis.
Naturally Solis hearing the words on the wind took off right
from where he was running through the air quickly.
Solis hit the deck after learning the boys name, and tore
through. He busted a few doors of the place down as he fought
until he found the right one. He busted it down to see a scared
kid and knocked whoever had him away to pick up Lucas.”hey kid..
it’s alright. Gonna take you from the baddies.” He promised.
He saw some men coming at him to blow them away.”nah ah! Kiddo
isn’t yours.” He made his way up through the halls and scrambled
on the deck to see Namor and Hama.
Jalal wasn’t sparing anyone. Winds tore one body up, one was set
on fire, and cracks of lightning would be apparent as he went he
gusted another off now completely pissed off. Ezra could have
been in this situation.. Eden too! He shouted at the two on deck
to get on the boat, and once Namor, Solis, and Hama complied air
walked down to the deck.. and the few witnesses would see what a
living stone was meant for.
Jalal walked as he tuned out in a strange way.. only those on
the boat would be affected. As it rippled back- the bodies left
on deck would drop dead with him still standing. He had ripped
souls from their bodies without remorse, as they truly were the
monsters. Once done- he walked to a part of the ship and kicked
the steering toward the deepest part of the ocean and waited.
Once the ship hit the water he made his air signs and walked up
and away. It had been a long time since he had to do that..
since 800 years ago. Once he landed he simply said.”don’t speak
of what you’ve seen.. it’s a great secret for a reason.” He said
gently. He swayed some before feeling a catch.”thank you..” he
said before blacking out.

Eden heard Jalal’s words and he sounded pissed to her. But she
walked with Ezra quietly. She knew at some point things will
change as she grew and learned. She looked at her brother- “tag
your it.” She said with a grin.”but.”king is where we can’t
pass- we can wait a little behind so we don’t get in trouble.”
Eden said. While it looked funny eden gained her spirits again.
Once inside they ate their food and eden didn’t seem to eat
much. Jalal was taking a while and it was starting to worry her.
Normally when he took care of stuff he was back quickly. She
heard a question if she was okay.”yeah.. just not that hungry..
probably swallowed too much water.” She said sticking her tongue
out.”salty.”
Once excused she went to a window keeping watch, before she felt
Ezra’s presence.”he’ll be back he always does.” She heard him
say.”yeah but… I feel worried.. “ Eden said as her female
intuition kicked in.

Lucas was scared out of his mind, huddled in the corner of a
small room, trying to get away from the men leering at him. One
of them got closer, and ordered him to undress, making Lucas'
entire body shake. "No! Leave me alone!" He yelled and tried to
get away, scrambling under the desk and through to the other
side.
"Come back here you little shit! I want to see what I paid for!"
The man yelled and then started looking through his pockets for
the control of Lucas' collar.
Lucas let out a whimper and evaded the reaching hands of another
man until one grabbed his shirt and lifted him off his feet.
"Please..don't!" He begged, terror, racing through him.
That was when the door was kicked in, and Lucas' eyes widened.
The next moment, the man holding him got kicked in the head and
Lucas fell to the ground. He was stunned by the stranger
promising to get him away.
Lucas was suddenly being carried away so quickly that the wind
was tearing at his clothes and making his hair fly back.

It really shouldn't have surprised Namor that the two wind
tuners would get to do most of the fighting. He did manage to
get a few punches in, smashed a few heads together and tossed
one moron overboard. And there was the one guy that he had to
crack over the head with the butt of his long gun.
He couldn't help but admire Hama's fighting style; the guy was
quick and powerful with his moves, taking down two guys, and
then head-butting a third so hard that the man passed out in a
heap.
Hama's attention was drawn to Solis who had Lucas under one arm
and then his head jerked towards the wind tuner that was
hovering over the bigger ship. "Yeah..got it," He called and
went to leap into the Zan's airship.
Namor climbed up onto the edge of the boat to feel a hand
grabbing his ankle and turned kicking the man savagely. "Hands
off cretin." He glowered and then did a backflip and landed on
the deck of the airship below.
What was witnessed next was more than a little
frightening..though Namor wasn't off-put by what happened to the
men on the ship. He knew they were little more than monsters in
human skin. "Of course not, your secret will remain a secret,"
Namor said solemnly. When Jalal's body swayed, Namor reached for
him and held the man's body close to his own.
Hama shook his head, more than a little in awe of the power he'd
just witnessed. He didn't take that much time to dwell on it
though and moved towards Lucas, who was staring wide-mouthed and
wide-eyed.
"Lucas...are you okay kiddo?" He asked gently and went down on
his knees.
Lucas' eyes blinked and then flung himself forwards, holding
tightly to Hama.
"Hama! I thought I'd never see you again!"
Hama wrapped his arms around the boy, squeezing Lucas tightly.
"No one gets left
behind Lucas. Ever."
Zan was more than a little shocked at seeing everything unfold.
He slowly turned the ship around and started to head back to the
beach below. "Well..a successful mission is always good. After
we land, you all need a hand with anything else?"
Namor shifted Jalal a bit, and lifted the unconscious man in his
arms, shooting a look at Solis. "His kids are going to worry,
should I try and wake him before taking Jalal to them?" He
asked. Then he turned to look at the airship man. "Not today,
but if you're interested, I could use a hand with something
tomorrow. I'm Namor by the way, what's your name?"
"Zan Zydon," He replied, thinking he'd heard the man's name
before somewhere but couldn't quite place it.
Hama and Lucas pulled apart, though the younger boy didn't leave
his side, and started asking about the Atreusa and Einar during
the slow ride back to the beach.
"You'll see them soon kiddo. They were both super worried about
you. And..I think we've got some new friends that are going to
help us too." He added.
They were soon off the airship; Hama and Lucas followed after
him as he carried Jalal to his cottage. He'd promised to wake
the man after checking him over and make sure Jalal got back to
the Beach Manor before it got much later.
While the four boys hugged and got reacquainted, Namor laid
Jalal out on his bed and gently let his hands explore the
other's head. Then he got an idea..and leaned in to kiss Jalal
on the lips. Perhaps this would wake the man.

Adan could tell that Eden wasn't quite herself, though she was
acting a bit happier now that Ezra was back. He had the feeling
that she'd heard whatever message Jalal had sent in the wind to
Solis. He felt a hand settle on his shoulder during their walk
up the beach and glanced up at the taller Snow. It was still
getting hard to get used to the height difference.
"What do you want beanpole?" Adan couldn't help but ask, and
earned a rough fist to his head which messed up his hair. "Hey!
Oww!" He exclaimed and managed to pull the offending hand off
his head.
"I don't want anything, I'm just goofing off," Snow chuckled and
settled down when his mother glanced back at them. "You're
acting odd and so is Eden. Something going on?"
"I...I don't know." Adan admitted, not saying more. He had the
feeling that Caltharas didn't want everyone to know about the
others that Jalal and Solis had found just yet.
Even at lunch, Eden wasn't herself, which Snow noticed. He asked
her if she was okay and frowned at her answer. "Well.. salt
water can dehydrate you and make you feel sick. Drink water..the
good kind. It'll help." Snow replied.

Solis gave a soft nod.”it’s probably best, wild child would flip
out and double trouble would just close up again if they see him
like this.” He watched the man sag in the bigger man’s arms.
Seeing what he saw and what Jalal did.. sent chills down Solis’
spine. He heard of the true power of the stones- but witnessing
it was a different manner:
Solis turned to see Hama and Lucas hugging and gave a gentle
smile. He went to Lucas, and pulled a small stone out. While he
wasn’t the strongest at it, he was good enough to free someone.
He took a breath and made some hand motions to gently put his
hand on the boy’s collar. It broke off and he smiled.”there ya
go- kiddo…” Solis said with a chuckle.”pretty sure namor will
let you guys sleep at his cottage.”said Solis to Hama.”it’s best
right now given everything- but we will meet up. I’ll introduce
you to halder. He’s a big guy, may look scary- but got heck of
heart” he said with a smile.
Once docked he made sure the boys were good, and told the other
two boys the same. Solis didn’t want to overwhelm them.
Especially with Eden’s big personality.
He talked with namor about ways to swim figuring he and Zan
could distract the duo while they got acquainted with the
others. And get them both learning- well one so she wouldn’t
drown again. Now that he thought about it- he wondered if Ezra
could swim.
Jalal seemed out the whole ride, he was slowly coming too,
feeling careful hands on his face, and stroking his hair. But
when he felt the lips.. his eyes behind his mask flew open. His
own hands reached around the man’s face and kissed a little
deeper. Jalal separated to chuckle.”what a way to wake me- oh
fisherman of the sea.” He joked a little. He noticed the light
fading and made a breath.”they are gonna worry.” He said before
pulling off his mask.”but before that.. would you mind if I ask
formally for .. a relationship?” Asked Jalal.”obviously I am
attracted to you and you to me… I know I got kids attached but..
well if you want…” he scratched his cheek a little, as his eyes
gave off a glow.
Once he heard what he wanted, he gave one more kiss.”I’ll see
you soon.” He said with a smile.”sleep well Namor, and after we
get things settled- work out a date?” He said with a smile.

Meanwhile Solis had gone back to Zan and ended up kissing the
man deeply, he had his birthday shortly before the trip, so he
now was 17. “Thank you and sorry for the scare- Ezra was
snatched before all this so it ended up being a big rescue
thing.” He told the man softly.”sooo… how about a reward for the
boatman?” He said and practically made Zan fall back in the boat
with him on top.

Eden hadn’t budged much from the window, her eyes drifted a
little bit. Ezra gently nudged his sister.”come on.. let’s go to
bed..” she heard to nod. She took his hand and walked some
before looking back at the window and felt a pull as she went to
get settled in her own room.
They were shown which was which. Theirs right next door to each
other. It had a door adjacent to each other given they were
twins. Eden gave kids their hugs, the last two was Adan and
snow. While Adan didn’t feel like he changed much in body, snow
was different since she couldn’t just hug around his shoulders.
Instead she wrapped more around his middle and said.”goodnight..
“
She went into her room and saw the door close and her shoulders
slumped just a little. She got cleaned up and dressed for bed.
Her nightgown reaching her knees,
After she finished up-She went to her bag and pulled out one of
her books Solis had given her. He had been teaching her how to
mod and fix things - so she brought some things to distract
herself. She took the book to climb on the bed and slid under
the covers to read. Part of her felt she couldn’t sleep until
she saw her fathers face.
Ezra on the other hand, once his door closed went to his pack to
drag out his notes after he cleaned up and dressed for the
night. After breaking the collar he felt a bit more invested in
learning metals now. Much like Eden- he had become attached to
Jalal as a father. But eventually sleep would win out on the
boy. He had fallen asleep with his book on his chest and drooled
slightly on his pillow.

Jalal finally made it back, he noticed taviah and explained they
saved one more child. He didn’t say how - but that they’d be
resting with namor for the night. He also let halder know his
nephew was busy with Zan at the moment to be shown his own room.
He was next to Ezra’s room, he went in to see Ezra snoozing to
chuckle. He took the notes, closed it up. And kissed the boys
forehead before pulling the covers over.
Then he went to Eden’s door. He put his hand on the handle to
open it up. Eden’s head shot up to see Jalal.”dad!” He heard as
she slid out of bed and ran over to hug him.”you had me
worried.” He heard and gave a gentle smile.
“and so did I for you.. your brother is safe and now knows the
danger.. but you lack awareness.. I think we should have a big
talk.. about something important. I know we been hectic trying
to settle in our lives to really speak about your next lessons..
even doing our usual ritual every birthday..“ he said
gently.”get in bed. I’ll be right back.” He told her as she
nodded.
It was only a few moments before Jalal would come out with an
old book. It looked golden though it was a leather bound
enchanted book, with stones encrusted. In each of the four
circles showed the four basic elements.. while the middle showed
a person. It looked like they had a lot of arms and legs.
He walked inside to close the door- but it didn’t close fully as
it swung just a little.”alright.. you know the drill.” Eden made
a former nod as she made a small face. Slowly the stones
activated one, by one. “Come on…” Jalal heard. He knew she’d get
closer every year, first it was a third the book, next was 2
thirds of it. She started straining just a little as she managed
to get to the very last stone- she stared hard at it for it to
unlock. Eden made her smile before Jalal took the book.”you’ve
succeeded.. but for now enjoy vacation.. when we get back-
things will be much tougher for you.” He said to Eden. “But I’ll
teach you while we are here how to find your own stones.” He
told Eden as she got happier.
He walked out and closed the door to shut it fully. His gentle
smile went down. He cared for the girl greatly- but knew the
lessons she would be through next would be mentally stressing.
He walked back to his own room, and shut the door to slip the
book in his bag. He closed it up - cleaned up, and then fell on
the bed. His mind went to namor and seeing him tomorrow made him
smile a little.”been too long.. “ he said chuckling as he rolled
to sleep.

Lucas couldn't help but stare wide-eyed up at the red-haired man
that had saved him, He pushed his stringy hair out of his face
and watched with growing interest at the motions the man was
making. He let out a shocked gasp when the collar on his neck
broke and fell off. Hama reached down to pick it up and held it
out to him.
Lucas grabbed it and tossed the collar over the side of the
ship, and let out a shout of happiness. "By nasty collar!" Then
he glanced back up at Solis and asked. "How'd you do that? Is it
some kind of magic?" The boy asked. "Thank you so much!" He
added smiling up at Solis. Lucas stayed close to Hama, clinging
to him, still a bit unsure of the other people around him.
Lucas looked a great deal younger and a bit waifish, due to how
he'd been treated in the past few years. He had a much softer,
almost girlish look with his long hair and long eyelashes. It
had unfortunately been what had drawn the wrong sort of
attention to him.
"Something like that, they're good guys though Lucas. I think
we're all looking forwards to some sleep. I don't think any of
us have had a full night's rest in..years," Hama said
thoughtfully.
Namor wasn't all that surprised, given they'd never really been
in a safe place in ages.
He had the feeling he might be using his hammock to sleep, and
let the boys use his bed. At least it would only be temporary.
Namore didn't mind answering Solis' questions about swimming and
gave the boy several tips to start with teaching the other kids
how to swim.
When he felt Jalal's hands reach up to wrap around his face,
Namor deepened his kiss a bit more. He grinned down at the man
as the other chuckled and joked about him being a fisherman.
"I'm more like a jack of all trades," He replied and winked at
Jala as he pulled back and sat up. His gaze deepened a bit more
when Jalal asked him for a relationship. He rather liked how
bold Jalal was, and that the man knew what he wanted already.
"I love kids actually and always wanted to be a dad," Namor
replied softly, thinking of the two red-headed kids. "Yes, I'd
like very much to start a serious relationship with you."
Namor happily leaned into Jalal's kiss, and pulled away with a
groan, wishing that they might have more time together. Still,
he understood the man's wanting to get back to his kids.
"Yeah, I'll see you all tomorrow. Bring the kids to the pier
after their first swimming lesson. Solis said he and Zan were
going to teach them. We'll fish from the pier and see if we can
catch some lunch." He added. He stood up and went to see Jalal
to the door and watched him walk off down the beach.
"So.." He said and turned to look at Hama, Einar, Atreus, and
Lucas. "I've got some blankets stored away that you can use for
the floor if you can't all fit on the bed,"
"Where are you going to sleep?" Lucas asked, looking around the
very small cottage.
"I'll use the hammock outside," Namor replied. "It's not going
to rain tonight. Maybe tomorrow though, but hopefully by then
the four of you will be ready to stay at the Manor with the
others."
Namor fed Lucas and Hama and ate himself then told them to sleep
and headed out to his hammock. He relaxed once he was in it,
swinging back and forth a bit before it settled. "Well..seems
like I've finally met someone special." He said with a happy
grin. He had the feeling that Jalal was different, and wouldn't
be too weirded out about his own secret.

Hama and Einar insisted that Lucas and Atreus take the bed for
the night and then piled the blankets on the floor at the end of
the bed. They were pretty sure that they wouldn't be sleeping
that much. Even with the collars off, they knew the nightmares
would come for Atreus and Lucas. They'd gotten used to being
close by when the two needed to be woken and comforted.
"Hopefully they'll get help for their nightmares," Einar said
softly to Hama as they settled close to one another.
"It sounds like there was someone that Jalal knew that could
help them," Hama replied and moved to rest his head on Einar's
arm. "Try and get some rest. It's been a crazy day, and tomorrow
should be better."
Einar grinned, feeling his chest expand a bit. During their time
together, he'd developed a crush on Hama. "Maybe..now we can
explore other things together too."
Hama raised an eyebrow and then leaned up to kiss the younger
teen. "Sure, if you want. Now sleep."

Zan was just finished getting everything back in its place. The
wild ride had made a few of his supplies get thrown around. He
headed up to the upper deck and grinned when he saw Solis was
back. Before he could get a word out, his boyfriend was kissing
him deeply.
Zan moaned happily, his arms wrapping around Solis' body. Then
Solis was pulling back and apologizing for the scare. "Hey...I
understand. No kid should have to go through what he did. I was
just pissed that ship nearly took out my mast..at least the crew
and those monsters got what they deserved," Zan said his eyes
darkening just a bit.
"A reward?" He asked, only to be pushed back and hit the deck a
bit hard. "Geeze, if you wanted to jump me, you could've just
said so!" Zan said with a bit of a laugh.
"Lemme up, it'll be more enjoyable in my stateroom," He added
and rolled Solis on his back, and got up quickly. "I don't think
either of us wants splinters in our backsides,"
He grabbed Solis' hand and pulled him to the small room that
held his bed and his knapsack of clothes. He playfully shoved
Solis on the bed and started undressing. "Are you sure you're
ready for this? We don't have to go all the way," Zan said, even
though his body was already hard and willing to do whatever
Solis wanted.

When Ezra and Eden had gone off to turn in for the night; Snow
was a bit surprised when his parents asked him and Adan to stay
a bit longer. He moved to sit next to his father and Adan had
moved down next to Tahvia.
"You two are going to have to share a room," Tahvia said after a
moment, making Snow frown a bit. She went on to explain where
Solis and Jalal had disappeared to and the other boys they'd
found captive.
"Tomorrow they'll be coming here to stay. Namor will bring them
later in the afternoon or evening. Adan's room has only one
bunkbed, whereas yours has two sets."
"Oh, that makes sense. I can move in with him tonight. It won't
take much work at all," Snow replied, feeling a bit sorry for
the other boys. He wondered just what they might have gone
through. Though he knew better than to ask them that sort of
thing.
Adan's eyes got big for a moment and he shifted in his seat.
"I'll help you move your stuff," Adan said, though he didn't
look Snow in the eyes. That should have keyed Snow in that
something was going on.
"Let's do that first, then you can spend some time going over
those books of yours," Snow couldn't help but tease a bit. He'd
had to help Adan carry in his chest when they'd arrived and had
complained about the weight. He'd found out later that Adan had
added over 20 books under his clothes and shoes.
"Just don't stay up too late," Caltharas added with a smile. "I
think there will be a few fun things happening tomorrow..so
you'll need your energy."
"Okay, I'll turn the lamp out in an hour," Snow replied, making
Adan groan in protest.
"Snow..make it an hour and a half and I'll let you play with
Snips," Adan wheedled.
Snow eyed the lizard that was lazily wrapped around Adan's neck.
"You really think he'd willingly let me hold him? He never moves
from your neck. Not even when you bathe," Snow teased.
"All right boys, settle down. An hour and a half is fine.
Just..no fighting or loud talking. You'll keep your brother and
sister up,"
Snow nodded and headed off to move his things. Adan disappeared
into his room first and then helped Snow reorganize all his
clothes and things he'd brought. Snow settled to working on a
few small toys he was making for his sister and brother; while
Adan read in the bottom bunk.
Snow's head came up when he heard scratching and soft meows
coming from the closet and shot a look at Adan. "Adan..did you
sneak Shadow onto the island?" He asked looking suspiciously at
the younger boy.
Adan's body went stiff, and his ears turned red. "Maybe," He
drawled out slowly.
Snow couldn't help but chuckle and moved to open the closet
door. The slender teenage cat meowed and stared up at him.
"Well..you're gonna have to tell everyone in the morning. I
don't know how you thought you were going to keep him hidden our
entire vacation," He laughed and then lifted the cat up into his
arms, and stroked the cat's silky fur. "I kind of wish I'd
brought Puff with me too. I miss her." He sighed.
Adan sighed and came over. "I'll share Shadow with you...and
with the others. I just couldn't leave him behind. Do you think
Mother and Father will be mad?"
"You'll have to share, you know how Eden is when it comes to
pets. She was so mad when Jalal made her leave Eclipse and Sandy
behind. Eh..maybe a little. But I bet they'll steal Shadow too."
He said with a chuckle.
They soon turned in for the night; with Shadow settling on
Adan's pillow, sticking his nose into the boy's hair.

Solis chuckled at the man.”I guess you’re right, and sorry..
lost my footing.” He lord as he got off the man. As they made
it to the room Solis was the one tossed on the bed as he
chuckled. “Well we are at a beach, I’m kinda still high on
adrenaline… I think it’s time.” Said Solis to drag Zan into a
kiss. It wasn’t long till gentle touches turned more heated.
Once ready, Solis made a noise feeling pressure. Once in, the
man groaned deeply once he gave the go ahead, what started out
small became an experience for Solis. Their bodies wafted out
well into the night.

Morning rolled on the beach as bodies moved and stretched. Eden
being the early bird was already outside with Jalal, she managed
to get him up for finding ‘stones’ while waiting for Namor,
Solis and Zan. Ezra who was grumpy from being woken up, was busy
playing in the sand.
“Like this, even not being a stone is a thing.. but it’s a
sense.” He told Eden taking her hands. He let a breath out as he
let her feel an ‘elemental ripple’ “you feel the element course
through you.. there’s plenty of stones here due to the sea.” He
said. He let go of her hands to close his eyes, he felt what
would be a wash of the heat of the sun, a strange fuzzy feeling
to walk over and dig in the sand some.”see?” He said as Eden
smiled big.”ohh! “ she said and took a breath- closed her eyes
and felt a weird feeling.”feels like static.. buzzy.” She said
as he ushered her to follow it.
She walked in the sands as Ezra called out.”you can’t find it no
way!” He said as Eden shouted back.”yes I can! Now shut up!” She
said as her head moved some.. of course it became more apparent
as her hair started to look like a balloon rubbed all over it.
“Found it!” Eden said proudly as she dug, she shifted out a
lightning stone to carefully give it to Jalal.
After a bit the trio went in to eat, when called to sit down.
Eden ate some of her breakfast, to see grapefruit to avoid it.
It was one the few things she disliked. Ezra on the other hand
was eating it just fine.”you gonna eat that?” He asked his twin
for her to hand it over- in turn he gave her the apple slices
trading stuff off on the other.
When it came out Adan had snuck shadow over - made Eden jealous
as her arms crossed. Ezra on the other hand looked at the
boy.”well that just not fair.” He said as he was the more vocal
one for once. When caltharas mentioned what to do- Jalal joked
about taking shadow for a night with Eden making a retort to
him.”no.. you made me leave mine behind- you suffer with us.”
And looked to the side. Ezra mimicked his sister only more or
less huff.
Once things were picked and cleaned up, Eden and Ezra went to go
change, both headed out with Jalal again, as they heard they’d
get some learning in.
Ezra ran off this time as he noticed Solis and Zan to be picked
up.”there you are double trouble.. ready to go swimming?” He
heard.”yup! Eden and I already ate this morning super early! She
woke me up cause she wanted ‘practice..’ he said in an
exaggerated tone.
Eden seemed to get miffed.”can’t just stop tuning stuff you’ll
get rusty!”
Ezra made a face.”you don’t know that cause you don’t quit! You
ended up nearly drowning yesterday cause you messed up!”
Eden retorted: “did not!”
Ezra made a face.”did too! Everyone saw that.”
Eden deflated at him.”didn’t mean to!!!”
Ezra was handed over to Zan as he got Eden on his
shoulders.”enough both of you.. time for some lessons okay?” He
said as he took the kids to the water.
They started with Eden at first given she was bold and despite
the scare still jumped right in. She did it twice from the peer
before Solis stuck her on the shallows for not quite listening.
She puffed as they gave her a few minutes as they taught Ezra.
The boy was timid about it, dipping his toe in the water-
refusing to go in.. to finally getting coaxed in the water. They
taught him how to kick as Eden just watched. There was one good
thing about the girl- visual seemed to be her strong suit.
Solis called her over for her to run, being yelled at to not
run. To stop running and finally did what Solis asked- though
this time through his own fault was a little too far. But Eden
swam a bit under water to end up climbing up on Zan to take a
few deep breaths.
“close.. but your head has to be above water.” Said Solis with a
chuckle.”I’ll get it!” Eden said as Ezra was clinging to Zan
from behind.”get off! I’m using Zan!” Said Ezra.
Eden said.”sorry.. had to get a breath.” She made sure where
Solis was and took off again- underwater to make it to Solis and
got his hand to feel a pull and a rise up to finally get air
again.”almost..” she sputtered as Solis couldn’t hold back his
own laughter at her determination to do it now.

Jalal watched the kids some till he saw namor with the other
kids. He gave a soft smile to see them. “Hello.” He said and saw
namor to give a very different tone to hello. “Everyone’s kind
of relaxing.. Eden and Ezra are swimming with Zan an Solis over
there.. “ he said to watch Eden take off again and a Solis
dragging her up again when she missed her mark to shake his
head.

Zan shivered just a little when Solis told him it was time and
then dragged him in for a deep kiss. It almost felt like he'd
waited a lifetime for this..to be close to the man he was in
love with. He wasn't about to rush though. He wanted this to be
memorable and amazing for Solis.
It took a bit, but their kisses became deeper, more passionate
and he could feel Solis' hands running over him much more
boldly. He returned the favor, touching and rubbing himself
against Solis' gorgeous body. His fingers teased and stretched
Solis' opening.
Zan slowly pushed himself inside, groaning softly at how amazing
it felt, and leaned in to feast on Solis' mouth and his hands
touched and teased every part of his lover's body. Only when
Solis demanded him to move did Zan start thrusting slowly in and
out? "Gods..you feel so amazing, Sol." He groaned and nipped at
the man's bottom lip.
Zan showed Sol the many pleasures that a partner could give,
worshiping and teasing his lover's body all through the night.
Zan was the first to wake the next day, and stretched out,
letting out a happy sigh, and then moved to kiss Solis to wake
him. It was a bit later than normal, but that didn't seem to
bother either of them. After teasing Solis a bit Zan slipped out
of bed to take a dunk in the ocean water to clean himself off.
He got back on board to dry off and got dressed and went about
making some food while whistling.
"Let's go teach those kiddos how to swim," Zan said with a wide
grin and put an arm around his boyfriend's shoulders as they
walked down the beach a bit later.
He couldn't help but grin when Ezra ran up to them. "So early?
Wow..did you beat the birds?" Zan teased Ezra.
Zan listened to the two arguing with an amused expression. While
he'd never grown up with siblings..it looked like if he had,
he'd have been in a lot of fights and arguments. "All right.."
He said taking Ezra, "Let's get going, dude,"
Zan walked into the water after Solis, keeping a hand on Ezra to
steady him, and watched as Eden kept jumping into the deeper
water. It was a bit amusing how opposite the twins were, not
that he minded having the timider one hanging on him.
He was laughing a bit when Eden swam under the water and then
grabbed and climbed up on him. Ezra's telling her to get off
had him laughing harder. "I can handle the both of you," He told
them. "You can share."
"Try holding your breath when you go under. Here.." Zan had them
both practice blowing bubbles in the water. "You can blow out,,
but don't try and breathe in the water. Hold your nose if you
need to," He explained and then showed them how to do it again.
It took a bit of convincing to get Ezra to put his head in, but
he finally did and managed to not suck water up. "Good job
Ezra!" Zan exclaimed and gave the boy a high five. "Uh..who
wants to try a back float?" He asked, remembering having learned
that when he'd been younger.

Adan had tried to drag out telling Tahvia and Caltharas the next
morning, but Snow had grabbed his hand and taken him to his
parent's room and knocked on their door.
The couple had just finished dressing and looked at them,
knowing that something was going on in the way Adan was staring
at the ground.
"Go on and tell them, your promised, remember?" Snow said poking
Adan's shoulder.
Adan looked up, biting into his bottom lip.
"Isnuckshadowherei'msorry." He rushed it all out super fast,
making Tahvia and Caltharas blink.
"Maybe a little slower would help son," Cal said. putting a hand
on his shoulder.
"I snuck Shadow here. I'm sorry. I couldn't leave him at home."
Adan said slower, a scared look on his face.
Tahvia and Caltharas exchanged looks with one another and then
looked at Snow.
"I found him in the closet last night; I wanted him to tell
you," Snow sighed and ran a hand through his hair. "I thought it
would be better if he admitted it himself."
Caltharas let out a soft sigh. "Well son, there will be
consequences coming for bringing Shadow when we all agreed the
pets should stay home. Tahvia and I will have to talk and figure
out a punishment..not one that will hurt you, but one that will
teach you." He added seeing Adan's face pale.
Tahvia moved to cup Adan's face gently. "Relax son. It'll
probably involve cleaning and a task that isn't pleasant."
Adan calmed down a bit upon hearing that and nodded. "I
understand. I"ll take whatever you decide is my punishment." He
agreed though he was still a bit afraid of what they might come
up with.
Later at breakfast, it was brought up to everyone else, and
Adan's face got a bit red at everyone finding out what he'd
done. He should have expected that.
"I'm really sorry," he said sounding contrite. "I know everyone
else wanted to bring the other kittens too."
"Well...I think Adan should have to clean up after Shadow. The
kitten is curious and will be getting into everything. So.. andy
messes, plus the litter box cleaning." Tahvia stated.
Adan nodded. "That's fair. I'll make sure to do it all by
myself."
"And..Adan will be sharing the kitten with everyone. Just no
over-exciting Shadow or fighting over the cat. We'll make a
schedule or something," Caltharas added. "And...I call first
dibs for Tahvia and the little ones."
Once breakfast was over, Adan took time fixing up several cat
boxes around the house and showing Shadow where they were. Then
he and Snow went to change; leaving the cat with the younger
kids and Tahvia. When they were in their swim shorts, they
headed off to do some swimming, while Eden and Ezra had their
lesson.
"When did you learn to swim?" Snow asked Adan as they floated on
their backs a little further out from the splashing twins.
"When I was like six..it wasn't all that fun though." Adan
sighed and flipped over when his stomach started to get too hot
and treaded water to keep himself afloat.
Snow frowned. "Let me guess..someone threw you in?"
Adan sighed. "Yeah. One of the servants had to jump in to save
me. He was not happy at all. Took over my lessons. He was one of
my few friends. Not sure what happened to him. Oh hey, there's
Namor and the other guys. Let's go say hi." Adan said spying on
the arriving group and began to swim towards the shore.

Hama, Einar, and Atreus woke to the smell of something delicious
cooking and got up to find Lucas talking happily with Namor and
helping the man cook up stacks and stacks of flat puffy bread.
"What is that?" Atreus asked, almost drooling as he rubbed his
face and eyed the odd food.
Namor chuckled. "Wash your face in the basin and fix your hair.
They're called flapjacks, I think you'll like them.
The boys headed over to wash their faces and fix their hair as
best as they could. Atreus was not happy when Hama used spit to
fix his mussy hair. "Gross," he said and shoved the other away
and then went to lean against the small counter space.
"How do you eat these?" he asked as he eyed the large pike of
flapjacks.
Namor chuckled and showed him how he ate them. He grabbed one,
rolled it up, and then dunked it into a small bowl of syrup and
took a big bite. "Like so," He said and turned it around to dunk
again and finished it off.
They all gathered around and ate what they wanted, making
pleased groans at the taste of the food. "That was delicious.
Thanks." Lucas grinned up at Namor. "Can we cook together again
sometime?"
Namor smiled and ruffled the boy's hair. "Sure. We're going to
head out now, Jalal and the others are wanting to meet all of
you. There are twins and another boy your age,"
Lucas brightened at this news. Once Namor had cleaned up the
small stovetop and counter well enough he led the boys out and
down the beach. The boys glanced over when they heard the kids
splashing around in the water, and noticed two other kids
swimming back in.
"Hello again," Hama said with a wave to Jalal. He and Einar
exchanged grins at the way Jalal greeted Namor.
"Is anyone going to be annoyed if we go swimming naked?" Atreus
asked, not wanting to bother anyone.
Lucas shot the older boy a shocked look.
Namor chuckled. "The other kids might have swim shorts you can
borrow," He said easily. "Ah..looks like we can ask the older
ones," He said as Snow and Adan came up to the shallow water and
walked up the rest of the way.
"Hello!" Adan said with a bright smile and waved at the new
faces. "I'm Adan, this is Snow. You want to swim too?"
Namor smiled at the friendly younger one. "I believe they do,
they need some swimshorts though."
Snow eyed the others closely for a moment taking in their sizes.
"I'm pretty sure there are some extras of different sizes up at
the manor. You'll probably want to change in a bathroom. Adan
and I can take them up," He offered. "I'm sure..the younger ones
can just borrow spares from Adan and me." He added.
Namor turned to the boys, checking on their reaction to Adan and
Snow. Einar was kind of staring at Snow with an odd expression.
Atreus and Lucas looked happy. Hama was regarding the two
closely but didn't seem bothered.
"That's a great idea. Jalal and I will wait here for you."
Namore replied and moved a bit closer to the other man. "We have
a few things to talk about.
"Lead the way, Snow," Hama said in an agreeable manner, giving
the tall white-haired teen a grin.
They all headed off and started talking a bit. There was a short
pit stop where Snow showed them the room where they'd all stay
together, which seemed to please Lucas the most. Then they found
swim shorts and changed and grabbed some more towels for later.
"Pretty sure that Halder and his wife will bring Dove out a bit
later, you'll meet them then," Snow said and then came to a stop
when Shadow came running out of his younger siblings' room.
"Come back here Shadow!" Tahmuras yelled and came racing after
the cat.
"Whoa! Slow down little brother, you heard Dad, no chasing and
no hurting the cat. If Shadow wants space..you let him have it."
Snow said as he intercepted the little boy.
Tahmuras got a pouty look on his face. "But it's my turn with
him!"
Adan moved to look the boy in the face. "You'll get more time.
Just think, how would you feel if someone was grabbing on you
and chasing you around? Huh? Would you like it?"
Tahmuras blinked, staring at something, making Adan turn to see
the cat perched on Atreus' shoulder rubbing it's face on the
other boy. "Well...Shadow seems to like you." Adan said with a
bit of a smile.
Atreus smiled. "Yeah..cats love me for some reason. Always
have." He lifted the cat off and set Shadow on the ground and
patted it gently on the head. "I'll see you later Shadow,"
Snow made a thoughtful sound and then escorted his little
brother back to his mother and sister and they all headed back
to the beach together.
It was a great deal of fun swimming and playing in the water.
The older boys knew some cool tricks. Einar doing some
handstands under the water, and Hama showed them a fun trick of
swimming through each other's legs in the shallower spots.
Atreus was pretty good too, though Lucas could spin, twist and
move like a dolphin in the water, It was quite fun to watch and
try, though no one could do it as well as Lucas could.

Eden was enjoying herself, and took a break on the dock to watch
the older boys do flips and stuff. As she drank some juice.”when
can I do stuff like that?” She asked Solis as the man
chuckled.”after you manage to swim with your head above water. I
know you can pull it off with what you know.” He stated to
receive a small scowl from Eden.
Ezra on the other hand was drinking a cold juice watching Lucas
swim the way he was.”wish I could do that..” he mumbled to hear
Eden.”maybe if you let go of Lucas you can.”
Ezra stuck his tongue out at her to go back drinking his juice.
He went back to try to swim some more, as Eden just jumped right
on in to swim a bit- finally barely keeping her head up above
the water. Solis chuckled a little at Eden swimming some as she
clearly wanted to enjoy time with the other kids. He also noted
that some of them were starting to sun burn.”hey we may take a
snack break soon!” Yelled Solis to snow and Adan.

Jalal was on the beach watching the kids some, but enjoying his
time with namor more.”glad you came.. was everything okay with
them last night?” He asked about the kids that stayed in his
cabin.
Jalal couldn’t help but look namor over and the more he did so-
his mind went to places. He realized how pent up he was. Of
course back then with Eden being a handful helped- but now? With
a man like that right next to him? He sighed at himself a
little.

Zan couldn't help but watch the more experienced older kids
showing off their skills, and chuckled when he heard Edens's
wishful words. It did look like a great deal of fun, so he
wasn't surprised that she wanted to try it. "Solis is right,
they had to start where you are. I'm sure they've been swimming
for a long time."
He shook his head when Eden made fun of Ezra's more cautious
side. "Double Trouble and Wild One huh?" He asked shooting Solis
a grin. "I can see why you nicknamed them that. Definitely too
much for one person to watch," He added, his gaze flickering
over to where Jala and Namor were talking..and flirting if he
wasn't mistaken.
"Ohh..snack time? Sweet. I could definitely use something to
munch on," Zan spoke up, though his eyes didn't leave Ezra as
the kid went a little bit further out into the water.

"Snacks?" Lucas asked as he swam past Adan, not quite
understanding what Solis was talking about.
Adan blinked and glanced at the other boys who exchanged
surprised looks. "Yeah..food you eat between meals," He
explained.
Lucas' eyes widened. "People eat between meals here?"
Snow nodded and wrapped an arm around Adan's shoulders to pull
him a bit away to explain. "Pretty sure they had rough lives, so
there's going to be things they're not used to, Just..try not to
make a big deal about it. I bet they aren't ready to tell
everything they've gone through just yet. And try not to give
them pitying looks..I bet that would bother them more,"
Adan nodded and swam back over to the others. "The towels are up
on the beach, we can dry off before we get our snack. We're
likely to get fruit and maybe cookies if we're lucky," He said
with a hopeful look.
Snow headed up to Jalal and Namor where they'd left the towels,
grimacing when he saw his shoulders were sunburned.
"Great..that's gonna blister," he sighed and walked up to grab a
towel, and then threw one lightly to Lucas. "How come you didn't
burn? You're just as pale," He asked with a curious look on his
face.
"I"m just lucky I suppose," Lucas laughed and dried his face and
then body off.
Atreus chuckled. "Lucky..right. I'm jealous. I burn but then it
turns into a tan. So that's not too bad."
Hama made no comment, though he smiled hearing the others. He
and the sun had no problems. He checked Einar over, relaxing to
see the other hadn't burned. "Best be careful, you usually get
bad blisters," He told the younger man and threw a towel in his
face.
"Hama!' Einar exclaimed in annoyance. He pulled the towel off
his face and playfully snapped Hama's leg with it. "I"m fine,
but thanks for caring. If you wanna wrestle..just say so." He
added with a small grin.

Namor was happy to relax on the beach next to Jalal and just
hang out while watching the boys and the kids having fun.
"Yeah...I heard Lucas and Atreus make some sounds like they were
having night terrors..but by the time I'd checked on them, they
were wrapped up together and soothed themselves. I'm glad I came
too."
Every now and then, he'd sneak peeks at Jalal when the man was
occupied watching the water and his kids. Did Jalal know just
how handsome he was? "If you're horny...I'm sure we could get
the others to watch Ezra and Eden so we can go test out our
chemistry a bit," Namor suggested.
It had been well over ten years since he'd been with another,
and having Jalal this close and looking this hot..he was having
a tough time keeping his hands to himself.
Of course..this was when he heard Solis yell out about having a
snack break and the boys and kids started heading their way. "It
can wait until later," He murmured, and couldn't help but give
Jalal a promising wink.
Namor smiled as he watched the boys arrive and start to tease
one another while they dried off. It was becoming a bit clearer
to him that Hama and Einar might have more than just a friendly
banter going on. He figured that when they were ready they would
tell them though.
"So..are we going to the manor for this snack? I'm afraid all I
have is dried meat and a few pineapples left. I need to go
fishing and to the market boats soon." He added.
"Ooh, fishing? Can we go too?" Lucas asked eagerly.
Namor nodded. "After our snack and after you're all dressed we
can figure out who else wants to go. I think later, Jalal and I
may go for a walk. Solis, Zan, would you mind watching the
others? There are some things we want to discuss alone,"
Zan shot a look at Solis before nodding. "I don't mind. I like
hanging out with Ezra and Eden. Might as well get to know the
others too," He added shooting a grin over at Lucas, and the
older boys. "I bet I could share some of my adventuring tales to
pass some of the time," He added.
