Eden blinked.”dinner? No dad didn’t say anything she said.
Little did anyone know Eden’s birthday was the day before snows
ceremony.
They just kept quiet about it due to prepping for snows bonding.
So for now she matched Adan in age. Eden felt in her pocket her
gift and blushed a bit.”ah snow? Here.. I was waiting for a bit
but since we are here.” She put a box in his hands that looked
like it was not the best- but wrapped carefully.”I worked hard
and bought it..” she said sheepishly as Solis made a small
smirk. Inside the choker she worked hard for would lay inside,
along with a bunny’s foot attached with a small chain. The girl
had another for Adan when he had his birthday, and was working
toward the boys gift for his party.
Eden looked around and gave a small sad look.”just two? Okay…”
Solis couldn’t help but chuckle at the young girl saying it.
She then gently picked the black and white kitten first, and
then carefully looked at the others. She then picked the brown
one and smiled some. “Mmmm I’ll call you eclipse.” She told the
black and white one, she then looked at the brown one.”and you
sandy.” She said to the other watching as they squirmed a little
making her giggle.
Heiwa went for the black one and picked it up to smile.”Hiro!”
She said without a single speck of hesitation. The group seemed
to enjoy their kittens till a hollow sound would be heard.”Silu!
Again?” The creature being somewhat jealous rubbed against
Eden.”oh I’m not replacing you! Just bringing more family!” She
told her pet and found a spot as the kittens romped over each
other with Silu getting its head pats, one would notice the tail
not looking green anymore but a soft red. Eden made a big squee
and started petting silu’s tail.”it’s finally happening! “ she
said as she started petting it’s tail as it seemed to enjoy
that.
Heiwa who was flabbergasted at the stony creature asked.”finally
happening?” Eden looked back.”well they start gaining animal
characteristics after being awake for so long- and matching the
ability to tune with their masters! And she’s mine so..” Eden
blushed a bit.
Eden heard the familiar sounds of midnight, and her foal that
seemed to be growing well. Eden went over to shift in her pocket
as Heiwa said.”hey Arnar’s horse does..not… “ her voice faded as
the horse took a few sugar cubes and let Eden pet her. Then
Heiwa watched as Eden climbed right in the stall.
Silu being responsible kept the kittens in one spot as Eden was
giving her pets to the foal too.”such a cutie!”They’d hear and a
giggle. A name had yet to be picked for the small thing- even
eden was thinking hard. Little did anyone know a name would come
in a form of a small accident. Eden climbed out after as Heiwa
looked at her a bit jealous of the fact she was this free.

The queen chuckled some.”I don’t mind dinner- and I will be
present for it- that will be exciting!-as for animal though
there is someone I want you to meet.” Her head swiveled to the
door as a long haired man came in. His mark on his head similar
to Jalal. “Your highness, and his lovely queen. You may call me
Azhar.”The man dressed rather nicely from the look of it, and
stood by her.”as agreed.. “ his own tuning showed as the door
shut and a knife to the door and a silencing charm would
glow.”sorry it’s necessary.” Said the man to the emperor.
“This is Sirfarnaithisacurperis.. snips for short.” Said
Azhar.”he’s actually a pretty old guardian with the ability to
shapeshift.. and grow depending on the need. I felt the boy
would benefit from the dragon. Least what I saw from the
stars..”He said. He showed the small lizard that was on his
shoulder.”he’s a very old friend of mine.” He finished with a
smile.
Right after the door opened as Jalal came in - saw a familiar
dagger to shut the door and froze to see Azhar. He came in and
closed it to stare at the man.”well little brother.. who would
of known. Still keep telling you the dagger thing damages.. just
use the sticky stuff.”He said and smirked. Azhar chuckled.”been
a long time.. how’s life? And I’ll fix it - I just like showing
off”He said as Jalal stood by the emperor.”good, so far. And
there’s ways to do it without leaving holes.”He said chuckling.
The fae queen noticed the banter of the men.”oh.. family?” She
asked as Azhar nodded.”yeah.. your looking at the first exiled
prince of the Glowing Sun nation.” Jalal blushed a bit.”I was
keeping that secret you know.” He had his reasons. But it would
explain why he seemed to know how to talk and hold himself
around nobles and royalty.
Azhar chuckled.”and for how long- eventually your gonna have to
talk.. now where is my niece?” He asked the man as Jalal made a
face.”she’s busy with her friends.” Azhar made a small
disappointed look.” I had a gift for the girl.”
Jalal sighed.”you’ll see her soon enough- now straighten up-
this is a meeting not a time for us to catch up.” He said and
watched his brother straighten up from his casual body language
to salute at Jalal causing Jalal to sigh.

Arnar was blushing brightly. After hearing the woman he couldn’t
help but feel she knew what the surprise was as he went to go
clean up, and prep for it. He honestly couldn’t wait.. and for
more fun!

"Well you know now," Snow said smiling at Eden.
Snow turned to Heiwa, remembering that he'd meant to invite her
earlier during their talk. "Heiwa, I apologize, I forgot to give
you your invitation to dinner. Please join us tonight."
He stopped when she pulled out the small gift box and accepted
it. "Thank you, Eden," he said and opened it. He pulled out the
collar with the rabbivore paw dangling from it. "Wow..thank you
so much," He said and bent to kiss her cheek in thanks.
"I'll wear it later," He promised and tucked it carefully back
into the box and then tucked it into his pants pocket. "I'm sure
Tahmuras will see it and want one too,"
Snow and Adan glanced up and chuckled at Eden's sad sound of
only getting two. They exchanged looks, wondering how she'd take
it to find out that she'd have to share them with Damon once he
moved in with her and Jalal.
Snow wasn't the least bit surprised to end up with the adorable
white kitten once the two girls had picked theirs. He reached in
to gently lift the duo-eyed kitten into his arms. "Hmm..you look
like a puffy cloud to me. How about Puff?" He asked the cat. The
tiny cat meowed and batted at his nose, making him chuckle.
"Puff it is."
Uriah who had been waiting with supplies for the kids, shot a
startled look over at the stone fox and Eden speaking to it.
"What?" He asked sounding incredulous when Eden explained what
she meant to Heiwa.
He shook his head slowly and handed over the baskets and
supplies to Snow. "When you need more food let me know. I've
semi-trained them to use boxes of sand when they need to go.
You'll want to keep at it though. Uh.. there are collars in
there to put on them. The blacksmith says he can burn their
names on them for you Master C-Snow," The older man corrected
himself.
"Thank you, Uriah," Snow said in appreciation and glanced over
to watch Eden sneaking Midnight some sugar cubes. "Oh..so that's
how you tamed her," He said shaking his head.
When he saw that Eden was too busy petting the foal, he moved to
sit down and helped keep the kittens from wandering off. "We may
have to share the kittens with Lalitha and Tahmuras. They can
play and take care of them when we're busy with classes," He
told Adan.
"That would be fine with me," Adan said agreeably and sat down,
and let Shadow join his brothers and sisters for some playtime.
"We can probably let them all play together often too." He added
and chuckled when Puff pounced on Eclipse and Shadow went to
play peacekeeper.
Uriah let out a groan, making them turn to see a small
brown-striped cat climbing up his leg. "Oww, you little
stinker!" Uriah pulled the cat off and set it down with the
others. "Here..play with them for a bit. I'll be back fo Rascal
in a bit. Make sure Eden doesn't steal him," He told the boys
before going to tackle one of his jobs.
"I can't promise that, but I can make sure she brings him back,"
Snow said with a chuckle.
Silu relaxed a bit, laying down next to Adan, sniffing at the
kittens and watching over them as they played. When they got a
bit too rough, the stone fox moved to nudge them apart.
It was a good half hour before they gathered up their kittens,
and Snow returned Rascal to Uriah and the group headed off with
their supplies so they could get the kittens settled before
dinner.
"I was thinking it might be best to keep Shadow and Puff
together at night. We can alternate them between our rooms until
they're a bit older," Snow suggested.
"Yeah..good idea. Can I take them tonight?" Adan asked, with a
hopeful look.
Snow nodded. "Let's stop by Eden's place first so we can drop
her stuff off. Then we'll get the others settled."

"Wonderful," Tahvia replied with a bright smile. She didn't want
Nile to miss out on getting to know Adan while she could. The
young grew up so quickly, something she was noticing on her own.
"Oh?" Caltharas asked, his gaze following hers and he blinked as
the took in the new arrival. "Welcome to Audora Azhar," He
replied with a bow of his head. Though he didn't know the man
that well; he could sense the man was more than he appeared.
Plus..the mark on his forehead reminded him of Jalal.
Both the royals were a bit shocked by the door closing on its
own. Caltharas' brow furrowed when he noticed the knife and the
signals being formed before they glowed brightly. He nodded
slowly. relaxing a bit when his inner senses didn't pick up on
the man intending danger towards them.
It was Tahvia that gasped when the man held up a small lizard
and introduced them. "I knew I had heard a voice," She murmured,
making her husband turn to look at her in surprise.
Yes that was me. I had no clue you were so adept Queen Tahvia.
Caltharas' eyes widened a bit, as he felt the power and magic
coming from the lizard as it telepathically spoke to them. There
was no hiding just how old the small creature was. "Did you
intend.."He started to ask when Jalal entered the room,
interrupting them.
Tahvia couldn't help but grin and took her husband's hand. "They
remind me of you and Arnar," She commented softly.
Caltharas felt his face heat a bit at this and waited for the
men to stop talking. "Before Jalal arrived, I was going to ask
you if you wanted to gift the lizard to Adan yourself..or if you
wanted someone to do it for you. Also, it would please my queen
and me if you join us, our family, and Jalal and his for dinner
tonight. It will be in our private dining room. Oh..and there
will be something special happening later when it's dark, that
may interest both of you," He added.

It took Katsu a couple of hours to get everything ready for that
night. Cooking Arnar's favorite dishes; getting everything set
up on the rooftop balcony of the castle; and finding the perfect
outfit. Everything was finally finished and ready by 7 pm, a bit
later than he'd planned on, as the sun was starting to set. He
took a moment to meditate facing east while he waited for Arnar
to arrive.
He'd left several notes around their room in the guardhouse, for
the man to find, some a bit racy, and others telling Arnar what
he loved about him. Hopefully, that would help set the mood.
Katsu heard the familiar footsteps behind him and smiled as he
stood up and turned to greet Arnar. "Hey lover, I hope you're
hungry," He said and moved to pull a chair out for the man. Once
Arnar was ready, he pulled the covers off the plates, showing
off the perfect and picturesque displayed food.
Katsu took the bottle that Arnar had brought and opened it; and
poured some into both of their crystal glasses. "Enjoy, after
dinner..there's another surprise,"
As the sun got lower, Katsu lit several candles so they could
see, and went back to eating, watching Arnar enjoy the
experience with a smile.

Eden blushed a bit at the kiss to her cheek. She smiled wide
hearing his brother might like a rabbits foot too.”well I’ve
been helping the farmers a lot so he can get one too.”said Eden.
Eden looked at snow.”shhhhhh it’s a secret.” Heiwa
chuckled.”it’s not much of one if you do that in front of
everyone.” She told the girl as she got down.
They reached the house as Eden opened the door to let the boys
in with her. First thing she did was close her window of the
room and made a spot for the kittens, once she got things sat up
she turned to Silu.
Eden managed to get her things sat down, in her room and gave
some pets to the kittens.”Silu watch?” She asked as it made a
noise and rubbed against her.”I love you too.” She responded
lightly. She hoped that things go okay- she knew her brother
would be in the house soon. But right now- she was going to
enjoy her supper.
Eden walked out of her room.”okay I got…” she started to see a
gift on the small table of the gathering room. Her head tilted
to go over and saw her name. A small smile formed before she
went and opened it. Her head tilted some before opening the top
just a little. She flipped it off and started digging at it to
see some tools she had been begging for - for the past two days
with him. She told him about how Solis was gonna help her
understand how to mod weapons. It suprised the man as he always
known she was just into tuning and animals far as he remembered.
Eden smiled big.”he got what I wanted!” And then went quiet. He
took time just for her- despite how busy and crazy things were.
Eden got the top and placed it on to take it to her room.
“Come on!” Eden said to hear Heiwa who noticed it was a gift
box.”Eden is it your birthday?” She heard and Eden shook her
head.”no it was before snows, “ Eden said as Heiwa exchanged
glances with Adan and Snow. She had learned she was invited to
dinner as well and was thrilled. But seeing Eden’s bright smile-
made her seem unbothered about it.

“Yes I do intend on gifting snips to the young boy..he can help
him learn his powers and grow. I plan on giving it myself- since
he tunes?” He shifted his gaze to Jalal.”yes so does snow.”
Azhar chuckled.”maybe I should stay and help.. and Katsu? That
wild..” he started to see Jalal signaling to shut the heck up-
as he didn’t know if the king knew about the man’s tuning
lightning.”…friend of mine- god it’s been ages.” Azhar said as
he finished. Once the conversation was done the group had moved
to the dinner table.
Eden ran past her friends to practically hug jalal.”thank you! “
she told him as he realized she saw the gift.”well you were
asking.. just be responsible..” she heard for her to nod firmly.
She noticed Azhar and her head tilted.”this is your uncle.. a
fellow tuner master and my brother.” He said flatly. Azhar
scooped Eden up to hear her laugh.”hello I’m Eden!” She said.
The man chuckled.”I know.. and I got a gift for you. But first.”
He turned to Adan.”sometimes we give gifts in form of animals
but since Snow had bonded with a partner.” He got close to
Adam.”I’m gifting this to you.” He took the lizard from his
shoulder to Adan.”heard your a smart fella and well- this lizard
is a rare species.. mind taking care of him and looking into
it?” He asked the boy.

Arnar was red faced from the notes as he came up.”swear you know
how to make a man blush. He slid into his chair and his mouth
gaped a bit. It was his favorite all right! Seeing the chicken
fettuccini, with a fresh salad.. and gazing at the freshly baked
bread, with honey butter next to it.”Katsu you went and did all
of this?” He asked before taking a bite savoring the tender
chicken that was on his tongue.” He groaned some.”you cook so
good!” Arnar said as he smiled. He took a drink and savored the
wine.”oh?” The man couldn’t help but suspect something big was
gonna happen.
He felt it all the more romantic as he watched the sun dip a
little, as the last of the light was showing.”Katsu.. thank
you.. this is all so lovely!” He said with a big smile before
eating the food more and enjoying it.

Snow and Adan both chuckled along with Heiwa, feeling amused
that Eden had thought they wouldn't notice. "She's right about
that," Snow replied. "but I will keep it from Arnar." He added
with a wink.
Snow and Adan followed Eden in, helping her get things set up
for the kittens. One of the baskets in one corner with a blanket
inside for the kittens to rest in. A food and water dish in
another, and finally a pan of sand for the young kittens to use
when they needed to go.
Adan glanced around at the room, taking in Eden's started
collection taking up space on an empty table close to her bed.
Once Eden finished talking with the stone fox, He and Snow
followed her out, and let Adan close the door firmly.
Snow and Adan were a bit too occupied with the kittens inside
their shirts to notice Eden had a gift waiting for her on the
table. Though when Heiwa brought it up later, they both glanced
up with surprised looks.
"Why didn't you say anything? We should do something to
celebrate," Snow said, trying to think of what Eden might like
to do. "Even if it's a bit belated..everyone deserves to do
something for their birthday." He insisted.
Adan nodded in agreement. "So..you're 13 now. My age," He said
thinking that over for a moment. "Usually when one becomes a
teenager that's a big deal," He commented. Adan was already
thinking of something they could help with.
"We can talk about it later, we'd better hurry and get Puff,
Shadow, and Hiro settled and then clean up for dinner," Snow
spoke up, realizing it was getting close to dinner.
Once those tasks had been completed, Snow let Adan lead the way
to the smaller dining room that his family used. Snow couldn't
help but watch Eden when she flew by them to thank Jalal with a
hug. The tall dark-haired man also drew his attention.
Adan too was drawn to the man but wasn't quite sure why. He
waited, listening to Jalal's introductions between Eden and the
man. He was quite impressed to hear the man was a master tuner
as well and then got a shocked look on his face when Azhar
gifted him with the lizard.
He took the lizard gingerly in his hands. not sure what to think
of the animal. "Thank you, Master Azhar," He replied softly. He
was a bit shocked when the lizard squirmed free from his grasp
and moved up his arm and curled around his neck. "I'll see what
I can find out," He promised, and reached up to stroke a finger
over the lizard's tail.
Snow admired the lizard for a moment and then turned to greet
his parents and younger siblings. The families visited and
caught up for half an hour before a servant appeared to tell
them dinner would be arriving soon.
Adan had been speaking with the Fae Queen telling her about his
studies and all the fun he was having with Snow and Eden. He
glanced around, and then offered her his arm when dinner was
announced. "Would..you like to be my dinner partner?" He asked
feeling a bit shy.
It looked as though Snow was seeing Eden, and Heiwa was
following Damon to sit next to him.
"Oh one announcement before we start," The Emperor spoke up,
drawing everyone's attention. "I have been informed that there
will be a special surprise happening at 8 or so. We'll be taking
dessert out on the veranda so we can watch."
Even with their taking dinner in the private dining room, the
meal would last awhile, with several courses drawn out. Mostly
to encourage more visiting with those they were seated next to.
The food was served once everyone was seated, the beginning
course being a fruit course.
"Father, can I get a pet? Snow's got a cat and a hawk now. And
Adan has a lizard and a cat." Lalitha asked the moment she
could. making the Emperor chuckle. "I'll talk to your mother
about it,"
Five minutes before 8, they escorted everyone out onto the
veranda to see a storm rising in the distance. There was a bit
of thunder..but not any lightning, at least not yet.

Katsu's eyes gleamed at the look on Arnar's face. Those notes
seemed to have been done quite a bit already. He chuckled and
then beamed when Arnar looked amazed by the dinner he'd made.
"Of course I did. You deserve it." He replied happily.
He ate, listening to his lover's sounds of pleasure. "You know I
do it so I can hear you make all those lovely sounds, right?" He
couldn't help but tease a little. "
Katsu didn't elaborate further, knowing that the wheels in
Arnar's mind were already trying to figure out what was going to
happen.
"You are quite welcome my love," Katsu replied and slipped a
hand into his pocket to touch the ring he'd been holding onto
for a while.
When they'd finally finished eating, Katsu drew Arnar to his
feet and over to another spot on the balcony. "One moment, This
may take a few moments." He said and centered himself, and then
touched his lightning stone.
The sky rumbled, as the clouds gathered off in the distance. He
called on the lightning and opened his now white glow eyes and
began to shape the lighting into words. The words flashed one
after another.

By the end of the message, the question mark looked more like a
lightning bolt..but Katsu was sure that his love knew what he
meant.
He pulled the ring out of his pocket and went down on one knee,
"well..what do you say?" He asked, with a very hopeful look on
his face.

Arnar took the man’s hand after dinner, feeling swept in the
moment as he felt something big was happening. He stood there
and watched the sky as it rumbled.
It wasn’t long till he started seeing how the lightning was
making words and sounded it out slowly.”will… you…marry…” his
breath left at that moment as he saw me to only chuckle at the
attempt of a question mark. “Yes! I will!” He shouted.
Of course he’d heard cheers and claps of the people for them. He
blushed brightly.”.oh you!” He told Katsu. And right then in the
quiet heard Eden’s voice. “Hey how you do that! Teach me!” To
hear giggles and Jalal hushing her. After chuckling Arnar went
over and kissed the man deeply. A couple of oooo went out as
Eden shouted again.”Don’t worry he’s not sucking his face off!”
For more giggles to come out at the young girl. Jalal blushed
deeply and hushed her again.

Time continued and before long a break occurred. The group had
made it to the beach that was pink in color, and a vacation home
stood. Ezra(formerly Damon) stood close to Jalal while Eden was
running ahead- once again-

young woman!” He told her, for her to

” Walking is slow!” She said as the man sighed before one of the
boys managed to get her to stay with some hand-holding. They had
finally settled down after some time, and Eden was able to
Be more herself. Ezra was more timid than Eden but seemed to be
doing well. He lived at their home since the day they brought
him in. Unlike Eden- he dressed in Audora clothing just fine,
and his hair was tied back- but much like Eden wore a cerulean
mask over his eyes.
Somehow it made him feel better. His hands cling to the man’s
pants as he tried to keep things in order.”now we are almost at
the beach.. please stay close!” He said as he heard a chuckle of
Solis .”oh loosen up a little.” He told the man. After getting
his boyfriend to meet his grandfather the man approved the boy
even telling him to not let go of a catch.
Eden managed to get running again at the beach and began to
splash a bit as things were being set up. The sun felt good on
the man’s skin and Eden was in her element- almost. The girl ran
for the peer nearby as she got curious at what she was seeing as
Jalal got up.”that girl!” He said.”Ezra stay out okay?” The boy
nodded as he went to chase the young girl.
But in her excitement being at the beach, tuned wind to gain an
advantage on Jalal only to be sent sailing over a fisherman
right in the water.”Sh.it she can’t swim!” Yelled Jalal. He
watched a figure of a man dive down and Eden coming up with him
spitting out water, her mask half off and looking at Jalal with
a sorry look.

Katsu burst into a wide grin hearing Arnar accept his proposal
and took the man's hand to slip the ring on his finger. "I'm so
damn happy you finally said yes," He murmured. The sound of
those below clapping and cheering was quite pleasing to hear.
Katsu was going to kiss Arnar when he heard Eden's voice yell
out and chuckled in amusement. It wasn't all that surprising.
She was eager and dedicated to learning how to tune as much as
she could. He happily leaned into Arnar's kiss, holding the man
close.
His face heated a bit when he heard Eden's shout. He pulled back
and laughed. "Maybe we should move this somewhere more private,"
He suggested and slipped his hand into Arnar's and led him back
inside.
He was quite sure he and his fiance would be celebrating this
for the rest of the night. "When the kids go on vacation..how
about we go somewhere? Just the two of us?" He asked.

Adan was rather excited to be at the beach with Snow and Eden.
The rest of Snow's family were there too, as well as Damon. It
was nice and warm unlike the Emperor's island, which had been
covered by a good 6 inches of snow when they'd left.
"It's so beautiful here!" Adan exclaimed happily, petting the
ever-present Snips, and grinned up at Snow.
"Yeah, it is." Snow agreed. He'd grown a good four inches and
towered over Adan and Eden even more. He let out a sigh when
Eden raced off ahead and got in trouble again.
"I'll go this time," Adan said with a laugh and went to take her
hand to keep her from racing off.
The boys headed off with Eden and the younger two to make a sand
castle. They were perhaps too occupied with entertaining Lalitha
and Tahmuras that they didn't notice Eden had wandered off on
her own again. Snow and Adan's heads shot up when they heard
Jalal's exclamation.
"Oh no! Eden!" Adan exclaimed when he saw her fly over the end
of the peer and land into the water.
Snow was on his feet, his eyes filled with worry. He headed
down, with Adan behind him. watching as the fisherman dove in
after Eden. "Damn..he's good," Snow said in an admiring tone,
recognizing the skill in the man's dive.
Behind them, Tahvia and Caltharas had moved to stand with their
younger kids.

Namor glanced up from the fish nets he was repairing to see
several white-haired kids walking across the beach, with a
dark-headed boy and two red heads, and smiled. It looked like
the royal family and their friends had arrived for the holidays.
He watched for a moment, chuckling when the little girl raced
ahead of the others, She looked like quite the handful. Her
father seemed to have a good handle on her though.
He grabbed his water skin to take a deep drink and went back to
his mending. While most would think of him as a mere fisherman;
he actually was a jack of all trades. Anything you could think
of or needed someone for, he could do. For the past few months,
he'd been fixing up the vacation homes and the peer on the
island beach. There was something relaxing and calming about
the water and the warm weather was preferable to the colder
climates of the other Audorian islands.
It was a little while later when he felt the winds pick up and
frowned glancing up. Just in time to see the red-haired girl go
sailing over his boat and land in the water. "What the..." He
started to exclaim and then heard the man's frantic cry from
further up on the pier.
He dropped his net and dove into the water after the girl that
had only sunk two feet and grabbed her around the middle and
pulled her back up. "Don't panic little one," Namor told her
calmly, and patted her back to get out any water, moved over on
his back, and settled her on his chest. "Loosely hold onto me,
you're going for a little ride,"
Then he began kicking his muscular legs towards the shore and
the shallow waters. Then he grabbed her around the middle and
stood up and began carrying her out of the water towards the man
and the other people that were heading towards them.
"I believe this little one belongs to you," He said and handed
the girl over to her father. Water was dripping down Namor's
hair, face, and body, glistening in the bright sun. He stood at
least a good head and a half taller than Jalal and was at least
a good stone heavier. While he bore no tattoos, there were scars
on his body from the many adventures he'd been through.
His brown eyes slowly wandered over Jalal; taking the man from
head to toe and then back up again. There was a great deal of
interest in the way he was looking at Jalal. When the man
realized there was an audience of two young teen boys, he backed
up. "Be more mindful of your father little one. Also..if you
don't know how to swim..don't go so near the water. It might be
a good time to teach her to swim,"

As Eden was being saved. Ezra had stayed put.. for just a
little bit. But he noticed an animal that looked like it was
having problems and caught on the paw. He went to take it off
before feeling a powerful arm and his mouth being covered unable
to yell. They managed to yoink him back and run off with the red
head among the chaos of the other that was being swam out.

Eden had sunk some and didn’t know what to do. But thanks to the
man’s fast thinking felt a grab on her middle to cough some and
breathed as much as possible. As she clung to the man loosely.
She said.”thanks! I lost control again.” She mumbled as she saw
Jalal in his lecture pose.”I’m in trouble!” She said and
grumbled. She could not help but feel something wrong as she was
given to Jalal and him apologizing to the man.
Jalal looked the other man over as he smiled.”think she isn’t
the only one needing swimming lessons. Eden huffed.”if your
gonna flirt might as well let me go!” She said as Jalal sighed
to put the girl down
Eden looked around some as she heard Solis ask.”what’s wrong?”
Eden made a worried look.”where is Ezra..” she asked as she felt
a strong feeling of fear.”something is really wrong!” She said.
“Ezra..” she called out.”come on I’m sorry I’m okay!” She saw
nothing and heard nothing. Solis saw something though.”sh.it
animal lure!” He said and took off himself.”snow you keep the
other kids safe.” He called out at him.
Jalal also put Eden with someone.”stay here!” He said firmly
before hearing her cry a little as she felt she might have been
partly the reason for him being snatched. Jalal took off with
Solis hoping they had time to find Ezra.

Ezra kicked and screamed as he was dragged to a place rather
quickly and tossed inside. He looked around tearing up
some.”dad.. Eden..” he saw faces of older kids and buried his
face in his legs.”don’t hurt me..” he said as he shook a little.

Namor wasn't sure what the child meant about losing control but
figured he'd probably learn in time. He couldn't help but
chuckle a bit as she correctly read her father's body language.
"Maybe a little bit," He agreed, imagining the man was more
worried about how close he'd been to losing the girl.
Namore couldn't help but grin when the man looked him over just
as closely and flirted with him. He chuckled a moment later when
the girl called her father out on flirting with him. "I could be
persuaded in teaching some swimming lessons to anyone
interested," He said with a wink at the man.
When he heard noticed the girl's question and saw how worried
she was he made his way out of the water, following after the
worried father.
"You have a missing child?" He asked, feeling a flash of worry
go through him. He'd noticed a caravan passing through a little
while earlier and hadn't thought much of it. It was quite
possible that it had belonged to a child trafficker. There had
been a few popping up around the islands and several children
had gone missing.
Namor followed after the two searching men, his eyes falling on
the animal lure. "Dam.mit," He swore and ran a hand through his
still-wet hair. He shared what he'd seen with two men. "It's
possible that the boy was grabbed while we were all watching the
girl nearly drown. They couldn't have gone far."

Atreus, Einar, and Hama all glanced up when their master tossed
a young boy into the abandoned building the dhampir had taken
over. The sight of the red-haired boy in tears, crying over his
family had them all exchange pissed-off looks.
"It's not us you have to be afraid of kid," Einar said gently
and moved to sit down next to the boy. "We'll figure out a way
to get you out of here."
Atreus shook his head, though he didn't argue. "You know what
the Master will do..he's done it to all of us. How are we
supposed to fight back with these on?" He asked trying to tug on
the metal collar around his neck. "We still have to find out
what he did to Lucas!" He added.
Hama, the oldest at nearly 21 shook his head. "We can't let that
happen. He's a little kid Atreus. You remember what your first
time was like, we've gotta figure out how to keep it from
happening. We'll find Lucas if we can get free."
They all shut up when they heard footsteps, and their Master
came in to look them over closely. "Atreus, come." He ordered.
The collar on the teen's throat glowed bright and Atreus moved
follow after the man, shooting a look at them. He signed
something to Hama behind his back, making him sit up a bit
straighter.
Einar shot a look at him. "What did he sign?" He asked in a low
voice.
Hama had a worried look on his face. "He said to get the kid
away. That he'd keep The Master occupied."
Einar bit into his bottom lip and nodded. "There are no wards
out here..so we can get away without him feeling it. Though..we
need to come back for Atreus once the kid's safe."
"Oh, that's for sure. No one gets left behind," Hama agreed.
When the sounds of the whip started, the two teens picked the
lock from the inside and snuck away with the little boy. "Do you
know which way your family is?" Einar asked and put the kid on
his shoulder to save the kid's bare feet from the rocks and
sand.

Erza felt himself shifted to the boys shoulder and thanks to the
height was able to see he didn’t go far. The boys would see him
brighten up.”no one left behind.” He recited when he saw a
familiar red head darting down the street one way. The kid would
notice him take a stone out and make hand movements.
”Solis over here!” He said through his hands before they would
feel a gust.”he will get you out!” He said and a chuckle came
out.
Solis skidded as he caught the boys voice on the wind and did
his own as he heard the direction of the giggle.”there you are
kiddo. “ he took off like a shot with speed no one could
imagine- as he used his wind he ended up face to face with the
boy and two other ones.”what the fu.ck!” Flew out.”Solis they
are in trouble and someone is hurting someone!” Solis handed the
boy to Hama and handed Ezra a silver stone.”remember how to do
this?” He asked.
Erza nodded”master said metal stone bends, but with the right
tuning it can shatter!” His eyes focused on Hama’s collar to put
his hand on it. His hand closed as it shattered from Hama’s
neck. He did the same for Einar.”I did it!” He said as Solis
already had broken the door down.
There he saw Atreus and went in cursing out the person
responsible. The teen slammed the men around and told Atreus to
get moving. Jalal hearing the commotion stepped in and grabbed
the child to break the collar.
“Solis beat them within an inch! I’ll signal for a guard.” He
said as he made quick movements, the greenery around the place
grew,writing out sos. Shortly after the guard took those men
away and freed what ever other kid was inside.
Ezra saw Jalal and hugged him.”dad!” He said and smiled. “He
helps kids.. little and big! He helped me!” He said and a grin
came on his face.

Hama glanced back at the abandoned building, worry filling his
features, and then up at the kid who looked rather happy before
calling out to someone.
"Who's he talking about? Can you see anything Einar?"
He nearly ended up flattened by a red-headed boy who seemingly
came out of nowhere. "What the hell!" Hama exclaimed, more in
shock than fright, and grabbed Einar's arm.
The taller boy's eyes widened as he took in the newcomer slowly.
He wasn't sure what they were talking about, or what was going
on. Then much to Hama's shock, his collar shattered into little
pieces, and he was released from the magical device. A few
moments after, Einar felt his own collar broken off.
"Thank you," Einar said softly.
Hama turned to go back, and his eyes rose to see that the older
red-headed boy had broken down the door where Atreus had been
taken. "How is he so dam.n fast?" He asked and left Einar with
the younger boy.
Inside the room, Atreus had been forced against a wall, his
hands and legs spread apart, his back cut up by the whip in his
master's hand, and blood running down in small rivers. The sound
of the door breaking open had made his master and the would-be
customers spin and curse at being caught so unexpectedly.
"You said no one would be here!" One of the men yelled at the
dhampir.
Before any of them could move, the master went flying and his
control over Atreus slipped. Atreus let out a groan and slowly
moved as pain rippled through his back.
He flinched when someone suddenly grabbed him and felt the
collar break cleanly off of him. Atreus' eyes glowed briefly as
the blood spilled by his master began speaking to him. "He's not
human." Atreus spat out, his hands going into fists. "He's half
vampire. You'll want to wrap him in silver chains."
When he saw Hama's worried face, Atreus' face filled with
relief. Hama moved to help his younger friend, careful to not
touch his hurt back. "Of course, I came back for you. Remember?
No one gets left behind."
Hama half dragged Atreus out to where Einar was watching the
young boy hugging his father. "Well..good. Glad he found his
dad," Hama said softly and raised an eyebrow when the kid said
his dad helped other kids.
Namor had followed a bit slower behind the two
speedsters..realizing that they were both gifted air tuners at
this point and came up short seeing the guards dragging away
several men, one beaten to a blood pulp, the red-haired man
embracing his son, and two young men helping a third that had
been badly whipped.
"Looks like you're going to need some medical attention," Namor
said softly, noticing the white skin where there had once been
slave collars. "My cottage isn't too far. If you need a place to
lay down and rest you're more than welcome to go there." He
offered.
Hama glanced at Jalal and the bigger muscular man, unsure of
whether or not he could trust Atreus to either of their care.
"They're safe Hama," Atreus muttered softly. "Trust me."
