Jalal looked around to see a man training and his movements were
familiar. He smiled some as he saw the lightning hit with a
small crack- a sign of control with the element. He heard his
name and made a head tilt.”oh li? It has been quite some time-
if I remember correctly you were quite the handful to Azhar.”
Said the man with a chuckle as arnar approached. “Oh?” He asked
curiously as Jalal said.”this one once decided to play a prank
on Azhar, made his hair stand on end with static- had to comb it
for weeks.” He said chuckling. After some informalities he took
his time telling them he would be staying and why, then asking
the three to add Eden to their people to teach.”I just need some
help- especially if I’m adding two boys to learning tuning.” He
said bashfully.”I know the king has the ultimate decision- but
it’s only right I ask you guys first.”
Arnar spoke up.” I don’t mind educating the young girl- but I
can talk to someone about teacher her about etiquette- I have
someone in mind”. Said the man with a warm smile. Khali
nodded.”I can as well.. might need to see her level given the
time at the desert..” he said after realizing who the girl was
from jalal’s words. He felt sick and figured he’d train her well
in time for the mock battle and knock the family on their
keisters and resign on the spot.
       [hr]
Eden blushed some seeing the queen and gave a warm smile back.
“Hello uh.. uhm… her mind went to what Jalal had said to the
king earlier.”your highness.” And bowed. She looked around some
of the room and the kids. She made a smile and puffed her face
out to show she wasn’t upset to the small boy, making a funny
noise which made him laugh. She turned her head to see how the
queen was with Adan. She felt a very small pang and her own
mother flashed very briefly in her mind. She shook her head some
erasing it self and reminding inwardly she had let it go.
Eden perked up at the sound of food and took Adam’s hand to let
him lead her. She looked around her face taking in the halls,
and paintings. She saw one that caught her eye, it looked like a
small oasis in the desert. She paused a little as she noticed a
girl sitting all alone and gently held fast to Adan’s hand. She
felt a small itch in the back of her mind.
At least we are not alone. entered her mind for her to firmly
nod. She continued in to find a chair and crawled up some. After
a time Jalal had entered with some strange men and Khali. Anar
sat by li, and Jalal opted to sit by Adan, Eden somehow sat in
the middle of the boys chattering about things that she had
       experienced in the desert.
Jalal then asked the king if it was okay if Eden learned among
her friends- causing the young girl to be excited as the food
came in. As it did so she looked at all the untinsels. Jalal
knew how to use his manners but their time in the desert Eden
hadn’t learned or gotten to. She wrestled with what little
memories she had with etiquette to pick up the wrong thing and
saw Arnar’s face to pick another and saw she grabbed the right
one. She ate some as Jalal discussed his plans on training the
boys and when it would be okay.”I train in the mornings.. it’s a
good way to wake the mind.” Jalal explained.”extra lessons are
from the break of dawn.” He said with a firm nod.

Katsu could still feel the lightning strike and smell it in the
air as he moved toward Jalal. He grinned, chuckling at the
memory of his prank. "If he'd used his water tuning it wouldn't
have stayed up that long," He said with a shrug.
"This is Arnar, my mate, youngest brother of Emperor Caltharas,"
He said introducing his lover to Jalal.
Once that part was out of the way, he and the others went quiet,
listening as Jalal explained more about why he'd come to
       Auradon. "I don't mind helping you with them..though...I haven't
done it in front of anyone save Arnar..and Khali now. I should
probably tell the Emperor the truth about that," He added with a
sigh and ran a hand through his hair.
"It might help to have two teaching them the proper moves, that
way you won't be outmatched or overwhelmed. Or we could split
       the days," Katsu suggested.
After a little more talk and plans for schedules; they headed to
dinner together. Katsu couldn't help but eye Eden and Adan from
across the table; watching silently and assessing them.
       [hr]
Snow was happy that the food was more like what he'd had during
his travels, eating it and thinking of how he could tease his
       brother and sister.
"Is this really what you ate while you were in the desert?" Lali
asked as she tried the strange flat bread and spooned some of
the chicken stuff into her mouth.
"Sort of..but sometimes bugs would get into it. But that wasn't
a big deal, more protein," He teased and chuckled at the face
       she made.
"Eeew! You did not eat bugs!" She said sticking her tongue out
       at Snow.
       "Oh..we did," Snow replied.
His parents exchanged shocked looks. "Snow..please..not at the
dinner table," His mother insisted and picked up her glass of
wine and took a good long drink of it.
"My deepest apologies, I didn't mean to gross you out," Snow
replied, settling and glancing over to check on how Eden and
       Adan were doing.
Adan's face looked a bit green. He grabbed his water and drank a
great deal. He'd never had siblings or heard anyone talk of such
things before. He was quite thankful it had stopped.
Hearing Jalal's plans to train them early in the morning made
him almost groan at the thought of getting up so early. His head
nearly snapped at the sound of Snow's happy crow.
"Sweet! The first class of the day!"
Adan shook his head. "You don't mind getting up so early?"
Snow turned to stare at him, looking a bit surprised. "We're
going to be tuning...I'd go without sleep to learn how to tune,"
"I'd rather read," Adan mumbled to himself, and forced himself
to stay upright, though what he really wanted to do was
       disappear under the table.
"Oh..that reminds me," The Emperor commented, making everyone
turn to look at him. "Snow you'll be having your animal bonding
ceremony soon. With you gone during your 14th birthday, we'll
have to do it now that you're back. You are all invited to come
and witness it," He added, looking around the table.
Adan blinked, recalling what he'd read about the ceremony.
"Would I get to do it when I turn fourteen?" He asked.
Caltharas and Tahvia turned to look at him. "Well of course you
will. You're..13 now, when is your birthday?" The queen asked.
"It's in High Summer, so next year," Adan replied, feeling a bit
more excited now. He couldn't help but wonder what kind of
animal he'd match with and be bonded to. Maybe something cool.
       Like a wolf..or a hawk or eagle.

Eden heard snow to chuckle and then made a face at the queen for
mentioning about it not being at the dinner table. Jalal took
note and was about to stop her and heard her say in the most
matter of fact voice taking it as a teachable moment- swore she
was starting to sound like him.
“Snow is correct it is more protein. It may be gross but when
you’re in conditions where there is not much food- sometimes you
have no choice.” Said Eden, as she spoke her hands were animated
as she shifted to and through as she spoke. She ended with a
       shrug at the last part.
Then after- Eden’s head moved to the queen.”with that I thank
you for this meal- this is probably the most I’ve eaten in my
life and better than jalal’s cooking.” At that the man made a
face.”hey you said you liked my grilled fish with the mango
fruit!” Eden turned her head slowly to smile big.”I lied.” She
had already finished what she could. She couldn’t eat any more
given what they were use to. She ate every part of her dish, it
seemed she only managed to eat half of what was given to her.
Jalal seemed to deflate at the table. And Eden looked over
again.”I still like the sweet bread and gold stuff that’s all
sweet.” Said Eden for him to shift up.”I want that for my
birthday.” She said and smiled some.
When the talk went to animals, a rather stony small one found
its way inside.”Silu! I told you to stay!” Eden said to slide
out. She had gotten her hands around to stone Fox and her head
tilted.”bonding?” She asked. Khali explained to her.”it’s a
coming of age for empaths.. it’s kinda like in tuning the
element is an extension of them.. only their partner and friend
is an extension of themselves.” Eden’s head tilted before
nodding as if to understand.”that sounds fun!” She said as she
lifted silu some, the tail looking more like greenery swayed as
Eden stroked its stone part of its ear.”silu.. naughty fox.” She
       said with a frown.

Snow was more than a little shocked that Eden was talking to his
mother in such a fashion. He shot a look at his mother, who had
raised an eyebrow at the girl's words. Tahvia set her glass down
       slowly.
"Well thank you for that information, maybe we can talk about it
another time," Tahvia suggested. While Tahvia usually had a firm
hand at teaching and instructing her own children, there was
something about Eden and Adan that brought out her softer side.
"Perhaps after lessons tomorrow; you might want to join me in
the garden for a private lesson? I'd love to learn more about
       the desert,"
Tahvia smiled when Eden thanked her for the meal and held back a
laugh at the interaction between the girl and her adoptive
       father.
Snow couldn't help but chuckle listening to Eden talking. He had
to think for a minute over what gold stuff she was talking
about. "Are you talking about honey?" He asked.
Most everyone in the room looked a bit shocked when they noticed
the stone fox. Adan's jaw dropped and he stared wide-eyed.
"Is..is that alive?" He asked in astonishment.
"That's hella cool," Snow exclaimed appreciatively, leaning back
in his chair to get a better look. He felt his mother's eyes
fall on him and settled the chair back down. "When do we find
out what we can tune? Tomorrow?" He asked Jalal with an excited
       look.
Adan closed his mouth, realizing he was gaping, and ran a hand
nervously through his hair. If Eden had brought a stone fox to
life..what else was she good at?
The sound of one of the younger kids yawning caught the adults'
attention. "Well..if the boys are getting up early, the boys
will want to settle down a bit and go to bed a bit early,"
Tahvia said as she got up and ushered her two younger ones to
the door. "Snow..would you mind showing Adan where his new room
is? And..maybe the library. You can read a bit before bed,"
"You have a library here? How big? How many shelves do you
have?" Adan asked almost immediately, geeking out a bit about
the books he'd get to read. "Any good history and language
       tomes?"
"Come on, sounds like we should stop by the library first," Snow
said with a shake of his head. He didn't understand how the
younger boy could get so excited about musty old books.
He stopped by Eden to bend down and pet her stone fox. "Sleep
well Eden, We'll see you tomorrow," He managed to say before
Adan grabbed his arm and pulled on him.
"Yeah..see you tomorrow Eden! Come on..show me this library
       already!"

Eden’s head had turned in response to the queen about talking to
her. Then it tilted almost as if it wasn’t the response she
quite expected.”okay.” Said Eden brightly. Eden turned to snow
as he questioned about the gold sweet stuff to nod.”is that what
it’s called?” Jalals face told them he never corrected her as
at the time he found it cute. “Sorry..” he said sliding down in
       his own chair.
Eden nodded.”yes silu is alive- it woke up cause of jalal’s
green stone but.. it saw me first.. think like a baby imprinting
in the first mama it sees.” She said as she held the Fox. While
heavy it did help with her being a bit stronger than most girls
her age, which would show in the coming days.
Jalal made a firm nod.”it will be so rest up wel for it.” Said
the man noting the tired yawns.”we better head back as well- if
silu came that means…neo.. “ he mumbled seeing the nine tailed
fox now fully grown over the years.”I apologize” he said as he
       went to pet the fox.”goodnight.”
Eden smiled as Adan pet the stone Fox as it made its hollow
strange noise. She wished them goodnight as they walked off
heading to some library. She took silu to follow Jalal behind-
taking some effort as she hoisted the thing more to go on.
Time progressed and all was quiet.. well where Eden was. The
girl couldn’t sleep due to her own jealousy at the boys finding
out tomorrow. She made a firm face as she sat up, she let a
breath out to get up, her bare feet padding the floor quietly.
A creak came up for her to freeze and look at the door that
belonged to jalal’s room. She took a minute before managing to
get by without making anymore noise. The door to his room was
wide open, they were use to sleeping close so it was a first to
have their own space. She snuck quietly- opting for the carpet
that littered jalal’s room. As she did so she made it to his
table where the stones laid out for tomorrow- the refined ones
that would tell him who could tune to what. She saw the purple
one- recalling it sparked some in her hand to grab it, and the
notebook the man had to the side.
Her masked eyes looked over at Jalal as she went backwards,
watching him before she made her way out of his room, and back
into hers. She then slid out the window of her room to the
ground to take off- feeling triumphant at what she did. She
snuck her way in the gardens, making her way to what looked like
a clear spot. She took it in, she noted a water feature that
kind of looked nice and sat the things down to open the
notebook. She thumbed quietly as she listened to the night
crickets and owls.. it certainly felt different from the desert-
and made her twice as jumpy!
She finally found a page to mumble in the language Jalal knew
well, her head tilted at some images to mimic the best she could
a few times. Once she felt ready. She touched the stone and took
a breath. Her movements were sharp and quick- which was right to
do, the electric noise she heard was around her. She took a
breath to feel a direction and moved. The biggest crack of
lightning would be heard- she had gotten too excited as she
directed it and ended up knocking the wind out of herself at the
noise. She fell on her butt and shook her head some. Her red
       hair evident of static shock.
Eden was so stunned and couldn’t hear at the time of guards
making their way to the garden. She felt hands of a man and saw
a face as the light that blinded her from it faded as she
said.”WHAT? I CAN’T HEAR YOU!” A hand snatched the purple gem as
she finally saw Arnar holding the gem and Katsu looking
       concerned.
It was only then she finally gained her hearing again she heard
a familiar yell.”EDEN!” Her small face shifted to an approaching
jalal.”sh.it.” She said almost immediately and covered her head
reflexively in case he heard the word to feel a hug.”Eden what
were you thinking?!? You could have messed up and hurt yourself
or worse!” She heard and shifted her head to the man. Guilt
crept up and she mumbled her apology at first. Jalal blinked as
       she sighed and spoke a bit louder.”I’m sorry.. I.. I know I’m
suppose to wait but.. it’s not fair! Why do they get to be ahead
of me! I know I know I get to read the notes but..” the girls
       shoulders slumped some.
Jalal couldn’t help but slack jaw at the girl still wanting to
do it despite obviously trembling from what happened. He then
sighed.”I guess I have no choice..” eden turned her head and
shrunk her hands close to her chest almost as for waiting for
something. He then said.”I’ll have to teach you now… I can’t
have you sneaking off to tune and getting hurt- at least you’ll
know the right way!” Said Jalal as eden seemed to slowly look up
and trying to not smile- she knew she was in trouble- but it was
worth it as she now was gonna learn what she wanted.”but first..
your gonna clean up your mess tomorrow.” He said and pointed to
a statue it had hit- and shattered.
Eden made a face, but she said without pausing.”I accept my
punishment and will follow…” the man scooped up the girl.” It
will be in the morning.. it’ll be good practice with the other
stones.” He said now without restraint. If she was going to
learn it all- she was going to.

It was a bit amusing to the adults that Jalal had never
corrected Eden, though Tahvia and her husband were the ones that
understood the most. "Until Snow was 8, he used to call cake,
fluffy bread, it was so cute," Tahvia whispered to Jalal as she
passed him as she ushered the younger kids out. "It's hard when
they grow out of the cute stuff,"
While the appearance of the nine-tailed fox was another
surprise, no one seemed to mind all that much. The emperor
headed after his wife, pausing to get a better look at the two
creatures. "No need to apologize, just wait until you see my
wife's monkey," He said with a chuckle. "that creature is quite
       a little prankster."
       [hr]
Adan could have stayed in the massive library for years and
never run out of things to read. "This is amazing!" He exclaimed
as he took it all in as best as he could.
"Yeah.." Snow replied. "Pick a few books so we can go,"
Adan blinked. "You can take the books out?"
Snow shook his head, an amused grin creeping over his face.
"Yeah, just not the ones that are locked up. Those are the
       really old ones."
Adan was almost salivating at the idea of old books. "Do we get
       free time after classes?"
"There are breaks in between them..and yes, after too. Are you
gonna pick some or do I have to do it for you? You're going to
run out of time to read anything." Snow asked.
Adan stopped talking and quickly found a good stack of books he
wanted to take with him. Snow looked them over before going to
write down the titles in a huge book near the front. "Sign your
name here, sp they know who has them,"
Adan did so and then collected the pile of books. Snow watched
the younger boy try to walk with them and then moved to take the
top four and lightened his load. "You get a bath earlier?" He
asked Adan as they headed down the long hall and started towards
       the second floor.
       "Uh..sort of."
"Well..I guess you could wait until tomorrow. We'll be sweating
       from the training sessions."
After Snow helpd Adan get settled into his new room, Snow
slipped through the hidden door that connected them and fell
into bed. He wasn't really sure if sleep would come or not, he
was far too excited about training in the morning. His mind
slowly wound down and he fell asleep a while later.
Next door, Adan kept reading until the candle finally flickered
out. "Aww.." He sighed and then settled down to sleep. After
everything he'd gone through that day, nothing would have woken
him from the deep slumber he fell into.
       [hr]
Katsu and Arnar had stayed up a bit later than normal. Sometimes
their trysts got drawn out, and they got caught up in one
another. They'd just started to settle in when Katsu felt the
building of the storm..and the static building in the air.
"Arnar..we need to go to the courtyard now," Katsu insisted, his
eyes glowing as the static started growing stronger.
He quickly pulled on his pants, and followed the static..the
stronger it was the more his hair stood up. He arrived just in
time to see that Eden was finishing the final movement to tune
lightning and called it to where she was.
"Gods..no!" Katsu exclaimed. His hand enclosed over his own
stone and he pulled at the lightning, drawing it away at the
last second, making the lightning leap away from the girl and
       hit the water feature instead.
The lightning struck, with a loud crack and the stone pieces
went flying. Eden was thrown back at the force, and fell to the
ground onto her backside. Katsu slumped to one knee, breathing
hard from having to use so much skill so quickly. "Arnar..get
the stone from her," He gasped out, seeing his lover heading
       towards Eden.
Then he shoved himself up and moved to look Eden over carefully.
"Gods..did you get hit by the stone pieces?" He asked, a very
worried look on his face. It seemed that all that had been hurt
was the girl's ears, though only temporarily.
Katsu twisted when he heard Jalal yell. He moved back to lean on
Arnar as the man began voicing his worries and fear of something
worse happening. "Uh...Jalal, that wasn't her fault." Katsu
spoke up. "I changed the direction of the bolt so it
       wouldn't...hit her." He finished.
"Eden..lightning tuning is very dangerous. There are more deaths
from it than any other tuning. I think..perhaps I should be the
one to teach her how to better control it."
Katsu was pretty sure that the girl was gifted in more than one
tuning, which meant she might be a potential master when she was
old enough. It also explained why Jalal had snuck her out of the
desert and far from the Red Fanatics. "I guess I'll be joining
you in five hours," He added with a sigh. "Try and get some
sleep, child. You've got a lot of work ahead of you," He added
giving Eden a nod before he turned back to Arnar.
Katsu raised an eyebrow spying Khali standing there, with only a
blanket wrapped around him, his long legs exposed.
"Hmm..Teenagers," He muttered and started to head back into the
guard house where he and Arnar had been staying.

Jalal turned to hear li and gave a grateful look.”thank you for
saving her from her mistake. But she still needs to learn about
       being reckless.” He said.
Eden heard the man and made a guilty look.”I’m sorry.. and you
had to keep me from being a dumb dumb.” Eden was feeling it now.
She could have hurt him and now katsu looked worn out. Jalal
nodded at the man.”more hands more help.” He said with a
smile.”he’s good.. I should know Azhar taught him.” He told Eden
who gasped a bit.”I’m so sorry master li.”She said one last time
to nod, Arnar had given back the stone to Jalal to head back
       with his lover.
Khali who had ran out sighed and ran his hand over his face
after the scare. He saw their looks and said.”what it gets hot!”
And headed back to bed on his own.
Time continued as Eden slept next to Jalal, after the scare he
felt it necessary to keep an eye. Once morning rolled he was
being jumped on.”master! It’s time! Wake up! “ he heard to
groan.”the suns up and the others will be here soon- li too!”
Said Eden with a grin.”did you forget..” his one eye opened.”you
got punishment and you’re gonna run around the garden part I
showed before bed.” Eden huffed and took off.”wait!” He said
finally getting up, both cleaned up and got dressed. Jalal made
a light breakfast for them both and once finished began their
warm ups at the break of dawn, as they waited for the others to
       arrive.
The sun seemed to give a wonderful look to the garden that Eden
was immersed in, Jalal smiled gently glad nothing bad had
happened to her. He was beginning to wonder if some visions
applied to all he had saw with the young girl. Tuning with the
strongest element, two boys that had popped into her life…. He
had to make sure she never lost it- or she’d become the new
       scourge to face headlong.
They made it back in time to see the boys as Eden waved and
jogged over to sit on a rock. She wanted to see what they could
       do at least.
Jalal laid out the stones in a line and said.”hold each one. And
tell me what it looks like to you, if you see nothing put it
down.” Jalal said with a smile.

Katsu knew Jalal was right about the girl learning from her
recklessness. If she didn't she might end up doing worse one
day. He was sure that was something Jalal was trying to keep
from happening. He gave the man a nod and turned to look at Eden
       when she apologized.
Katsu nodded slowly. "No need to worry, I'll be good once I get
some rest," He assured the girl in a gentle tone.
Arnar didn't seem to mind Katsu using him as a crutch of sorts.
he slid back into their bed, groaning a bit. "I feel old
already," He complained as he got comfortable.
He did manage to sleep the few hours until dawn and woke feeling
only a little stiff, though he did have a red mark on his hand
where he'd held his stone from the night before. That would take
a little while to heal he was sure.
He pulled on his black gi, and headed off across the training
grounds, seeing the two boys heading out just a few minutes
ahead of him. They were dressed in white gi's which he was
pleased to see. "Good, I bet Snow was the first up," He said to
       himself chuckling a bit.
       [hr]
Snow was out of bed far too early, dressing in a new white gi.
He tied it with the green belt he'd earned under Sensei Li and
       went to wake Adan.
"Uhh..ten more minutes," Adan pleaded, rolling over in his bed
       after being shaken by Snow.
"If you don't get up I'll get a bucket of water and throw it on
you," Snow threatened, with a bit of a scowl.
Adan sat up, his hair sticking up, his eyes huge. "Really? You'd
       do that?"
"Yeah..come on, brush your hair," Snow ordered and went to pull
out a similar gi for the younger boy. "Put these on, I'll go
grab something to eat on the way,"
Adan blinked, unsure about wearing what looked like pajamas.
       "What are these?"
"Gi's. We'll be training with Sensei Li after Jalal. Might as
well be prepared," He said, trying to not be too impatient. "If
you don't have it on when I get back, I'll do it for you."
Adan's face went a brilliant red at this. He hurriedly got
dressed, brushed his hair, and pulled on the odd shoes that Snow
had left out. Then he glanced longingly at the books next to his
       bed.
"Good..here," Snow said coming back into the room and holding
out a pastry and an apple. "We'll get a snack before Sensei's
lesson." He said and impatiently pulled Adan after him. Adan ate
what he could during the trip to the garden, tossing the
       leftover core into some bushes.
Snow didn't relax until they'd arrived at the garden where Jalal
and Eden were waiting. He came to a stop and bowed his head in
respect to Jalal, and then to Katsu when the man joined them a
few moments later. Adan followed suit, though he wasn't sure why
       he was bowing.
"Should we take turns?" Adan asked, looking with a bit of
       uncertainty.
"Just follow after me. If I stop at one. go around and try a
different one." Snow suggested moving through the stones slowly,
holding one for a good minute or longer before laying them back
       down.
Adan let out a gasp when his hand closed around a grey stone
that had golden flecks in it. The stone shone brightly and even
looked glittery, and then it felt like it heated up. "It's all
shiny and glittery and feels hot," Adan said sounding quite
       surprised.
Snow moved on, trying to not feel jealous that Adan had found
his element first. His hand closed over the blue one..and he
felt a jolt of cold go up his arm. He frowned and lifted it to
look at it closer. The blue stone seemed to pulsate and it
looked like there were moving clouds inside. "Odd.." He
muttered. "It feels really cold..and there are clouds moving in
it. What's that supposed to mean?"

Eden watched carefully seeing the boys in white clothes to tilt
her head noticeably. She then scooted off her perch to stand by
       the boys.
Jalal chuckled.”If it feels warm means you tuned with Rock, and
you ice and snow - your namesake.” He told the boy. ”now
listen.. tuning for some is an everyday thing.. some more than
others. Li will be able to help with movements as he knows them
all- and is a fellow tuner. But he only tunes one element much
       like you.. as for me.”
Jalal began to show off. The ground would rock before a stone
would come up and go forward, he tuned the wind to fly up and
hover before dropping down to make fluid movements. Water from
the pond came to swirl around the boys before the green flashed,
causing vines to come out and Eden being the way she is giggled
as she got picked up by them.
“I do much more. But men like me tend to try to learn it all.”
He said with a smile. ”keep this secret I tell you both.” He
       took off his mask.
”I’m what you call a living stone.. I may not look old but I am
100s of years old. I made my choice as I wanted to adventure and
see the world.” He said with a soft glow in his eyes.
“My strongest tuning though is fire- like the sun my tribe's
namesake.” He said with a warm look. ”I want all of you to use
it wisely and make an oath to it. Raise your hand and say. ’as I
live and breathe, I will be responsible for my tuning and my
actions.’ He told the boys and then turned to Eden with a firm
       look.
She raised her hand and put her head down remembering last
night. ”as I live and breathe I will be responsible for my
tuning and my actions..” she said and looked away a bit
       blushing.

Katsu was quite pleased with the elements the boys had been
matched with. In his mind, it was fitting to their
personalities. "Rock can also be sand as well," He added softly.
Though it wasn't likely where they were that Adan would be
       tuning with sand very often.
He went silent as Jalal went on to explain more, and revealed
that he was more than a tuner. It never ceased to fascinate him
just how powerful the man was, or how old.
Adan's eyes widened dramatically during the explanation of his
stone and the show of Jalal's many abilities. He was more than a
little interested in learning more about the man being a living
stone..and how to tune rocks, or sand if he could find it.
Snow nodded, quite pleased to have the gift of ice and snow. He
was more than a little sure now about picking his new name. He'd
always felt like he was a shadow of his father having hte same
name. Now..he didn't have to feel that way. He had his own
gift..and he would practice every day to get good at it.
He was quite impressed by Jalal's show of what he could do,
smiling at Eden's being lifted by the vines and her not seeming
bothered. He heard Adan gasp during that.
Both he and Adan raised their hands and repeated the oath
       together.
"As I live and breathe, I will be responsible for my tuning and
       actions."
Snow glanced over at Eden when she repeated it after them. "Is
Eden going to pick a stone too?" He asked, wondering which one
       she might end up with.
