fantasy plot desert/fantasy to break a cycle

Location
Hannavas
Endless desert to a point where a large wall or rock formation
is rest is jungle. Jungle area is more civilized whereas the
desert is not.
Story:
A person from the civilized side had come to the desert in an
excursion of looking at ruins. Due to this they put out a call
for protection, which most mercenaries of the desert tend to
flock to. There they run into a woman wild and carefree. As
they travel and discover among the treacherous desert, aside
from beasts that resides in the sand, and rival tribes fighting.
Come to find out if a man who was revered as a god long ago. Now
long gone. In a world where lost civilizations being discovered
and the warning of repeating history, will the pair/ group
beable to stop it?

Age: 18

Weight:115
Bio: having lived in the desert from the time she was 10. She
was abandoned to the wilds of the desert by her own brother who
went back to civilization in Hannavas’ capitol. She fought her
way through hell and is seen as a wild wolf or lone to most
tribes. Despite her wild nature she is shown to be highly
intelligent. She does have a soft spot for children and the
elderly. Though she tends to stay away from tribes that had
rules that would t align with her own. She’s been approached by
two in her life. The pack and the ravagers. One was more derived
on using people and resources to their advantage and their
leader a man with several wives. The other much more violent,
and follow the rules of survival of the fittest. You lived you
got to stay. She mostly keeps to a small oasis, which dances
between the territories of the two.
Personality: loves to joke, and has a tendency to be a bit dirty
minded as a way to throw off people from how she really is.
Loves: alcohol, swings both ways, and a hot meal.
Weapons: dual blades for close combat, she had worked on them to
change into a bow when the need for it came up.
Magic: has the ability to weild lightning and wind. Though most
seem to know of the lightning- none knew of the wind.
Abilities: is fast, and is flexible. She relies more on her
reflexes and speed. She hunts and overall comes off as someone
that would be good for scouting.
Notes: red hair isn’t common in the desert, given that is why
she was approached to before, and so far no one has truly seen
her eyes, if one had they’d be considered dead.
Unlike her brother- is a new soul. Her blood though connected to
the red king which made her a product of interest by the red
king fanatics in thinking she was their god.

Has much longer hair jet black, often half tied up.
Highly intelligent
Manipulative.
Tends to use people he finds useful- but if he finds they are no
longer- he throws them away.
Has a thing for intelligent and educated women/men (swings both
ways)
Often is called leader, is also bent on trying to absorb other
tribes in an effort to try to take on the jungle as he wishes to
rule all.
Stands at 6,5 foot
Is more lanky, and muscular.
Tends to brand his members their marks often on their back,
right arm or chest.

Scavengers tend to be known by the fact they’re more battle
worn, they also seem to be more drawn to wearing something red.

Bio: was born and raised with the hawk women, unlike the rest
she is super shy and reserved. She isn’t into sex as the rest
and wanted to fly free and adventure. She’s flown over the
territories before and almost got caught by the ravagers at one
point to be saved somehow by someone. Since then she had been
looked after closely given her relation to the leader.

Nobleman that's come to look at the ruins and discovers more
than he ever imagined.
Name: Adan Tennere
Age: 20
Height: 5'11
Weight: 160
Bio: His entire life has been pretty much planned out for him,
something that Adan is not happy with in any way. When he learns
that his marriage and life after are in the works; this is when
he decides to try and take his fate into his own hands. He gets
assigned to a special group to inspect some old ruins at the far
edges of the jungle boundaries. He hopes that either ravagers or
another group might kidnap him and he might end up with a
completely different life. He's always dreamed of traveling and
seeing more than just his small part of the jungle city. If his
parents had their way, he'd live out his entire life in city
politics. Talk about a snore fest!
Instead, he ends up discovering a lost prophecy foretelling the
end of the world as they know it. To keep that from happening he
and the group that gathers have to find a lost diadem and the
one that would use it against the great evil that is coming.

Loves:
Weapons: He's been trained to fight, though he prefers to use
other means to get out of fighting. LIkes using his wits. He'll
resort to using his sword when wits and talking won't work.
Abilities: Adan is very skilled in translating old and dead
languages. He can also speak more languages than anyone else in
the city.
Adan's pet/companion the jungle cat dragon, Snips.
Snips has the ability to grow or shrink to whatever size he so
chooses. He can talk too. While he doesn't breath flames like
the fire dragons, he can sing or purr and put anyone to sleep
when he wishes to. Possibly even use his eyes to hypnotize
others.

Ravager, known as Snow. Adan's male lover
Name: Cal Snow
Age: 24
Height: 6 ft 2inches
Weight: 170
Bio: Abandoned as a child due to his odd looks (deemed to be
demon possessed), he was stranded in the dessert at about age 6.
Even at a young age, Cal was able to use his skills. It was this
that convinced the Ravager's leader to take him in as a part of
their group. It didn't take him long to learn and grow under the
Ravagers' tutelage and become a fearsome member.
Personality: Mischievous, flirty, Intelligent, Charming. He also
has a darker side; though he only uses it against his enemies.
Loves: Men, women, Sex, manipulating others, hunting, fighting
Weapons: His Sword is his primary weapon, but he can use any
weapon he finds. Sometimes even ones that others wouldn't. Kind
of like an uncanny gift..one that can't be explained.
Abilities: Being able to use any weapon he touches without any
foreknowledge of it. Viewing things through his bonded bird.,
Pyr.

Age: Unknown...appears to be in her early 20s
Height: 5'7
Weight: 120
Bio: Not much is known of her childhood, or where she came from.
She is the guardian of the last temple the group ends up at. She
has protected it for a very long time..and has kind of lost
sense of how long that's been. Definitely part fae, because of
her long lifespan. Possible daughter or grandchild of the first
fae queen that passed on.
Personality: Suspicious, on edge, mysterious, can sometimes
speak in the third person
Loves: Food..could possibly be reasoned with..or placated into
being a friend by them giving her food. Shiny things..beautiful
people.
Weapons: Her tattoos are of animals..ones she can shift into.
She can also take on one aspect, like claws or fangs from those
animals as well.
Abilities: protective magic spells, very fast *super speed?*,
has night vision, possibly can shift into animal forms, and can
blend in with her surroundings (like a chameleon).

Savyia's mount and partner, Floofy Face, the Griffin. She often
gives him scarier names to intimidate those that try to steal
from the temple she guards. He doesn't always back her up on
this, especially if he's craving belly pats..or ear scratches.
He's can be fierce if someone threatens those he cares about.

Anubis
A small force of men that take care of more serious matters in
terms of murder and crimes against the city and academia. They
often hunt down those that have broken their laws to drag them
back for their punishments.

Info: has died nearly 500 years ago, her soul bound to the ruins
underground. She was once reverred as an oracle and shaman. Her
people were the ones that tuned at the time before the cataclysm
that occurred during that time. While the few people escaped,
she remained after sending her own child off.

Info: descendant of Sybll, she holds the knowledge of her people
through that of song and stories. And much like Sybll is a
shaman and oracle. She resides with the hawk women, and is often
turned to when it comes to birth. She ended up taking over as
their leader after their previous one died during birth. She
also joined them in hopes to find a suitable man to give her a
child so her line could move on. Jalal and her use to speak at
times, and she was the one to ask for Eden to stay. Instead the
man gave her a book to give Eden in the moment she came by and
him long gone.

Bio: having discovered Eden, had become enthralled in the fact
she had red hair as according to their own prophecies of the red
king. One touch did it take to give her all she wanted to know
and a hand sacrificed to that fact was little price to pay. She
had sent people in an effort to steal Eden to lose her during
the fight with Jalal, this enraged the woman so that she
tortured the man before death in an effort to get what he taught
her. She never got what she wanted and often sent people to find
her. She believed that this girl could be a the red king they
have been waiting for.
Red king fanatic tribe
Info: been known to sacrifice to their red king god. Mostly
sacrificing an occasional virgin or child. There always seems
to be no sign of elders but due to their shady work has granted
them youth. Most that follow the red king fanatics are promised
an eternal oasis once their Red king comes back. Their prophecy
noting one with red hair would be a great sign of their red king
being alive again. But it also gave instructions to be sure on
how. A series of tests that would kill anyone- but they’re
supposed red king god.

The red king god
Often depicted in song and other means of art. A man who was
said to almost dominate the desert and the jungle. He had gone
to war with the previous fae before she had shed one of her
adult lives in a sacrifice that caused him to perish, but only
after uttering the words of him being back one day, and would
come in as a sign of a red haired child. His vengeful spirit
lingers in the great pyramid, stuck in the labyrinth unable to
leave unless someone sets him free.

Name: Damon Abadi
Age: 18
Hair: long and red, often tied back neatly
Eyes: cerulean much like his twin Eden
Bio: has always felt jealous of Eden as she showed to be gifted
at a very young age. As a result during an excursion with their
father, had touched an artifact as they were watching a beast
activate the element. As the result, a voice in his head told
him his sister would be a problem, but wouldn’t be if she was
dead. Damon ended up hitting his sister in the back of the head
with his stick that he often played with as a cane. He later
told his father Eden didn’t listen and he had no clue where she
was. Despite it, being as their father was, made no effort to
find her as he valued his son more. While the red king was
manipulative, he simply used the boys jealousy and wish for his
twin to not exist by amplifying them. While he much like Adan is
a noble wasn’t bound to any marriage arrangement. He in fact
visits a man he cares about greatly, and a dear female friend
that has agreed to bare a child for the sake of his bloodline.
He found arranged marriages to be dumb, restrictive annd
miserable. and if he had gotten Adan back would have used his
influence to break the agreement. He really didn’t care for
politics so stuck with legal side of things. The fae queen often
would call for him at times. She regards him as a friend and
often fussed over him as she senses something is off.
Abilities: much like Eden is able to fight well, and much like
her can lift his own restrictions. Though his unlike hers values
strength over speed. His eyes never change color, but the pupils
often make people think of a dragon when they change. While Eden
and he both carry the bloodline of the family of those long ago.
He had shown signs of holding an old soul of the red king. But
due to that he was limited to what he knows and what he can do.
He also shown signs of manipulating fire. He hides this fact
though. For now given his family holds the Anubis highly as they
are all gifted in some power or way of fighting that is secret.

Bio: close friends with Damon, and is responsible for trying to
wipe out tuners believing they were in the golden age after her
previous life cycle gave up everything to bury the old nation in
sand. She been noticing a personality change in Damon after the
loss of His sister. She been fussing over him since then hoping
to curb him the right way. She has a natural disdain for desert
folk given the history of stealing, murders and more. She also
has a problem with music and anything reminding her of her ex
lover that betrayed her years ago- and focused on knowledge-
believing it’s true power. She hopes Adan is rescued as he is
considered a treasure of her country due to his gift of tongues.
Believes worth is in how much a person puts in themselves and
rules with the idea that it’s not personal- that it’s just the
logical way things go.

Bio: having lived in the jungle for the majority of his life,
had joined the Anubis at a young age of 15. He was one of the
ones that was often sent by the fae queen to get to Jalal. She
had hoped to long bury tuning as she didn’t think they’d deal
with any problems. But one fateful day during his one of few
interaction with the man- had his arm cut off at 22 years of
age.Despite it he was cared for by that very man. He told him to
leave the group as he shown promise in his own strength and to
start questioning the fae queen. That the Cycle of things were
coming around and it’ll happen again if she continued to come
after him.
After a brief visit to the fae, he was stripped of his rank as
he was deemed useless by his arm being gone. His own family
ended up casting him out in the desert, trying to cover their
high reputation. He found the man with a young red haired girl
later at 27. He was her spar partner for a few years till he
joined with the pack at Jalal’s request to keep an eye on the
group. He really doesn’t care for how the pack is ran, but
merely there to find information that Jalal had requested. Once
he found the man had died, had gone off to find Eden as he
promised to help protect the girl from the fanatics, and teach
her a bit about running a tribe.
Abilities: is wicked crazy with the sword. He’s always been good
with the one that was gone, and taken years to get the other one
to be just as good. He also has the ability of creating mirages.
It allows him to fool the enemy into thinking there is more than
one person, or multiplying his image in effort to confuse
others. The brand he has is on his leg which he keeps covered.
Behavior: tends to be assertive, and brash a lot. Tends to
follow his own code of conduct, and dislikes it immensely if
someone questions his ability to fight due to a loss of his arm.

Abilities: Can communicate with animals. Also has a special bond
with several animals, though his children have only one they are
bonded to.

Age: 9ish
The lost daughter of Halder, she is taken in by the Hawk Women,
though she's kept hidden most of her life, due to how she looks.
With her odd eyes and hair, the fanatics would target her and
want her for a sacrifice to their Red King. She is nearly
kidnapped by the fanatics and rescued by Eden. Her life changes
for the better once Snow and the others take her in (probably a
bit later). The Ravagers aid the Hawk Women in protecting her
because of Snow being one of them. Plus..they share an enemy.
