Rhys was relieved that Gabe wasn't more disappointed with having
to wait. He nodded, already thinking how amazing it would be to
get a longer massage from his new man.
He relaxed in the bed, his head turned sideways so he could

The resident demon Cain was not pleased in the slightest by the
angelic presence he felt. In the span of a day, his town had
gone from zero angels to having two! He needed to deal with this

Gabrielle gave a soft chuckle. ”hmm wear you out tonight or a
good wake-up call.” He said in Rhys’s ear seductively.
He couldn’t help himself. Seeing the man upbeat and ready to
have fun again? How could he say no? He slid his hands gently to
find a belt and rolled Rhys over.

Rhys might be a little frustrated, but the other's teasing
lightened the mood..and just made him want the angel even more.

Gabrielle was resting when he heard Rhys ask the question. He
chuckled.”sure, we can be. And if anyone asks we could say we
were long distance and we decided it was best I moved in.” Said

fell asleep, and before long it was morning.
Gabrielle woke with a start and almost yanked up some to rub

It felt like ages before Gabrielle chuckled and agreed to be his
boyfriend. He thought the other's suggestion was a good one. It
would help if anyone had questions about Gabe showing up out of
nowhere. "That's a good idea," He sighed, getting closer
himself, and wrapping his arms around the angel as best as he
could.
It didn't take long for him to doze off and fall into a deep
sleep. He woke when he felt Gabrielle's quick movements. He'd
turned into a light sleeper after becoming a fireman, so
anything would wake him easily. He yawned and rubbed his face.
Hearing the other's explanation made him feel a bit bad for
Gabrielle. He imagined it had to be a pretty bad one.
He laid back, trying to catch a few more moments of rest, even
though he couldn't fall back asleep. With how stressful and on
edge his job was; he used every moment he could to rest. He
listened to the sounds Gabrielle made as he moved around and got
dressed.
It wasn't until he smelled the coffee and the pungent savory
smell of bacon cooking that he got out of bed and got dressed
quickly. "That smells soo good," He said as he came into the
kitchen.
He arrived just in time to see Gabe's wings disappearing and
changing into a tattoo on his back. "Wow..that's a great look
for you," He said, itching to run his hands over the "fake"
tattoo. "Maybe I should get a new tat,"
He got his own food and sat down across from Gabe, making happy
sounds as he devoured the delicious food. "You're such a good
cook," He praised as he finished and went back for more. "So..if
I don't get an emergency call today, is there anything you'd
like to do now that your wing is feeling better? Maybe..we could
go out somewhere,"

Gabrielle heard the man talk and chuckle.”go get yourself one

the cooking.”I wouldn’t mind exploring the town- maybe you can
show me places I can go? Maybe even a library?” The man loved
his books. He use to read a lot of mystery novels. One the few

tried going for being a cop but at the time felt it too risky.
“And maybe some quiet places to have fun outdoors?” He said in a
more teasing tone toward the man.

Alexander woke up from his own sleep to run his chest. He
grabbed his phone and dressed quickly to decide to grab some
breakfast. He figured he’d look around town. If he saw Gabrielle
he’d wait till a later time. He didn’t like mixing mortals in a
fight for one, but secondly he needed to make sure the man was
alone. He smoothed his blonde hair before grabbing his wallet
and heading out the door to grab breakfast.
