Sean was relieved to hear that Sierra was sure she’d be okay.
The last thing he wanted to do was for her to get hurt because
of him. He noticed her frown and raised an eyebrow with a slight
laugh. “I guess it is. I ran into you the first time we met on
the cross trail team back in Freshman year. It is kind of like
fate telling us to step forward and try again.” he agreed.
The feel of her lush curves and soft body pressed up against him
had all sorts of emotions and feelings go through him. He lost
himself in the feel of her lips on his own, and the sweet taste
of her in his mouth. His hands moved over her neck, pulling her
closer as he kissed her even deeper. He let out a slight groan
when she pulled away from him. He panted quietly leaning his
forehead against hers as he listened to her catch her own breath
before speaking.
Sean let out a slow breath and ran his hands slowly over her
back. He was going to say something along the lines of her being
the only one he’d ever wanted when she moved to kiss him back.
He groaned at the feel of her pressing into him and the
insistent passion of her kiss. He lost all rational thought and
poured every emotion he felt for her in the kisses he gave back,
his body was ablaze with passion and desire. There had never
been anyone after Sierra and now he knew why. Sierra Walsh was
his soul mate.
He suddenly got the feeling that someone was watching him and
pulled his mouth back from Sierra with an annoyed groan and
glanced around. He closed his eyes in annoyance and leaned in
against her again. “Damn, we have an audience.” He murmured
against her neck. “We should probably find a better place to
rekindle our romance than in a public park. What do you have to
do today? Would you like to get together later? Let me check out
your ankle before you try and stand up.” He added and moved her
to sit on the bench off of his lap and knelt in front of her to
gently check her ankle.
He removed her shoe and sock and ran his fingers over her
slender ankle. “If anything hurts let me know,” He said softly.
The area around her ankle felt slightly poofy and swollen but
nothing felt broken which he was thankful for. “I don’t feel any
broken bones, but you probably should take it easy on your ankle
for a while.” He said as he pulled her sock and shoe back on.

As she listened to Sean, Sierra smiled. “Maybe we should. You’re
all that I’ve ever wanted or needed.” Sierra said to Sean with a
smile. Maybe it was crazy to think they should or even could
start again, but Sierra knew one thing for certain. She loved
Sean with all that she had and that love hadn’t faded in eight
years.
Sean pulled her even closer as they kissed even more
passionately. God, Sierra had missed this. Him, she missed Sean.
There was no doubt in her mind that she still loved him. Nothing
else mattered to Sierra but the way Sean made her feel. She
loved him, with every ounce of her being. If she were the type
to believe in soul mates, Sierra would say that Sean was her
soul mate. After all, her heart had always belonged to Sean.
Sierra knew from the first passionate kiss that she never wanted
to lose him ever again, and she would be damned if she did.
Before long, Sean was pulling away from her lips to tell her
they had an audience. Not that Sierra really minded, she would
show Sean she loved him anywhere. His questions made Sierra
smile as she thought about meeting up somewhere alone with Sean.
They could really have some fun and rekindle their love for one
another alone. “You should come over at lunch. I’ll cook you
lunch and then we can pick up where we left off. Mira will be
with a friend until the late evening.”half-hinting, half-hinting
that she wanted to keep going with Sean. Maybe that made her
seem like a slut, but in reality, she hadn’t had sex since she’d
left Sean because she’d never moved on. It seemed only fitting
she’d want to make up for all the lost time with him now that
she had him back.
Sierra smiled as Sean moved to check over her ankle. Nothing
really hurt but it was definitely swollen. “See, it’s fine.”
Sierra teased, smiling at Sean happily as she moved to lean her
head on his shoulder.

The smile that Sierra gave him had Sean's heart race. He had the
feeling that she felt the same way as he did. Her words had him
let out a happy sigh. "I'd be the happiest man in the world if
you can give me a second chance at this. I feel the same way
about you, Sierra." He said softly.
He wondered what was going through her mind when she got a
thoughtful look on her face after he had pulled away from their
kiss. He blinked, a bit surprised at her suggestion to come over
to her place for lunch. He couldn't help but smile when she
mentioned she wanted to pick up from where they had left off.
Especially when she mentioned her daughter would be out until
the evening.
"Well, I think I'd like that." He said with a very lustful look
in his eyes. he knew he should try and take it slow, but if
Sierra felt like she was ready who was he to deny her? He was
only a man. A man that could cave into temptation, especially to
Sierra and her lovely body. It had been so long since he'd been
with her, he didn't want to wait any longer than he had to.
Sean nodded at her teasing words and sat back down next to her,
letting her rest her head on his shoulder. "You use a new
shampoo," He said noticing her hair smelled amazing but it
wasn't like what she had used as a teenager. "What's this one?"
He asked curiously. "I rather like it."
He sat with her on the bench for a few more moments running his
hands through her hair and relaxing next to her. He could do
this all morning if he wanted, but he figured she'd probably
have to get back to her own home and take care of her kid. "So
will you text me your address in a little while? I left my phone
at home or I'd ask for it now. I imagine you have a few things
to do this morning. Can you walk all right? Or do I need to give
you a piggyback ride home?" He asked thinking back to their
first meeting and how he had to give her a ride on his back.

"Are you sure you want to get back together already?” Sierra
couldn't help asking. Of course, if he was sure, Sierra was
going to say yes. After all, it wasn't often life handed you a
chance to start over, especially with the love of your life.
Sierra was lucky to be with Sean again. After all, she had been
so certain they were going to stay together and get married
before the misunderstanding had happened. “Please don't make the
decision lightly, Sean. If we get back together, I want it to be
forever. I don't want to have to explain where you went if we
break up again.” Sierra finally said. She had to think of Mira
too, not to mention the fact that Sean wasn't stupid. He was
bound to realize Mira is his child, right?
Sierra was glad that Sean didn’t over think her offer too much
before accepting it. After all, she wanted this. She wanted
Sean, in every way she could have him, she wanted to be with him
again. “I know you would. You are only a man, you have needs.”
Sierra teased as though she hadn't suggested it. “You're the
only man I want, Sean. I've missed being with you.” Sierra
explained, smiling at Sean as she spoke.
They stayed happily together for a while, with Sierra leaning
her head on Sean's shoulder. It felt like they were back in high
school, spending all of their time together, either making out,
having sex or just being a couple worth being jealous of. They
had been most likely to get married, based on how their
relationship had been going strong for so long. “Yeah, I'll text
it to you later on,” Sierra said, sighing as she realized she to
leave Sean's arms. “I should be fine, but I really should get
going.” Sierra finally said.

Sean wasn’t surprised that Sierra couldn’t help but ask him if
he was sure. After everything they’d gone through, he knew that
she would more than likely ask him this more than once. “I’m
sure, very sure,” He replied. He fell quiet as she spoke again.
He knew why she felt so wary and why she was telling him to be
sure. She didn’t want to be hurt again, and neither did he. “I’m
not making this decision on a whim, I promise you. I want us to
be together for the rest of our lives. I won’t put you in that
position again.”
Sean couldn’t help but redden at her words a bit. “You have no
idea just how much you are right when you say that. I may have
needs, but I haven’t done anything with anyone since you. I
mean, I tried seeing other women, but they weren’t you and I
couldn’t do more than think about you and talk about you the
entire time. My friends finally gave up trying to set me up.” He
said running his hand through his hair. “You’re the only woman
I’ve ever wanted. It didn’t take me long to figure that out.
I’ve missed you too.”
Sean was all too happy to hold onto Sierra and enjoy the feel of
her head on his shoulder again. He’d missed just holding her and
enjoying her company. He knew that he’d never get enough of her.
He nodded and let her go slowly, kissing her once more. “I’ll
see you later then.” He replied and stood up and slid her onto
her feet. “Have a good morning,” He told her with a smile. “I
look forwards to meeting you later.” He added.
Once he watched her walk a bit and saw that her ankle was okay
for her to walk on he said his goodbyes again and started
jogging back to his apartment. He had a lot to get ready for.
After a busy morning of going through the rest of his routine,
and adding in a few extra errands, Sean was preparing to go to
the address that Sierra had texted him. He was surprised that
she didn’t live very far from the park where they had run into
one another. He imagined if he had run that way before he might
have met her before now. It made him think of how easily he had
fallen into a routine and lost himself. He wasn’t going to let
that happen again, not if he could help it.
He adjusted the collar of his button up shirt and swept his
hands through his hair looking in the mirror by the front door
then grabbed the bottle of wine and the bouquet of flowers that
he had picked up for her. The drive was a short one, which only
made him feel even more nervous by the moment.
He parked outside her home and walked slowly up to the door,
adjusting his collar again. Maybe he should have worn a t-shirt
instead. He reached out and rang her doorbell and shifted on his
feet waiting for her to answer the door.

Listening to Sean, Sierra smiled. “If you’re sure, I guess
there’s no harm in trying again.” Sierra finally said. She
didn’t really know if this were the best move for them in the
long run, but it didn’t matter, they had time. Plus, who knew,
their differences could prove impossible for them to be
together, so maybe this wouldn’t be anything for long. Sure, she
loved Sean, but even Sierra knew that the man she loved was
probably not the man sitting with her now, nor was she the woman
she had been.
Sierra was surprised at Sean as he said that he hadn’t been with
any other woman since her. It was sort of romantic, but Sierra
wished he had tried to find her if he had cared that much about
her. If that had happened, maybe they would have been together,
raising their child together like the happy couple they once
were. That was if Sean had been ready to be a parent, or at
least accept the responsibility for it. Sierra didn’t even know
how Sean would react to finding out that Mireya was his kid, and
she honestly wasn’t sure she was ready to tell him the truth.
They kissed once more before parting ways to see each other
later on in the day. Sierra went about her routine from there,
she got home and showered, choosing to wear a short flowy dress
for the day and put her hair down with little makeup. After
that, she made breakfast for Mireya and got her up for the day.
The two of them spent their morning playing and planning a trip
to the museum for the next day. Mireya loved museums, aquariums,
and the zoo, so Sierra tried to keep her educated and active the
entire time. After hours, Sierra took her daughter off to her
friends home, where their children could play together for the
afternoon.
After that, Sierra went back home, cleaning up her place before
working to make lunch before Sean showed up. Waiting for him was
torture, this was scary. Who said rekindling old romances was a
smart idea? Especially considering the massive secret Sierra was
hiding from the one man she loved. Was this a good idea?
Regardless, Sierra knew that she wanted to see if they had a
shot at being together and a lasting relationship, so she shook
off the nerves and went to open the door for Sean.
Opening the door, Sierra smiled happily at Sean. “Hey, you,”
Sierra said with a smile.

Sean looked up at her when the door opened and couldn’t help but
let his eyes wander over Sierra’s curves and how the dress
accentuated them even more. “Hello beautiful,” He replied with a
wide smile and pulled the flowers out from behind his back to
hold them out to her. “I brought you some flowers to brighten
your home, and I brought some wine.”
He stepped up and inside when Sierra moved back to give him
space. He glanced around her home, taking in how homey and clean
it looked. He had the feeling that she must have cleaned before
he had shown up. He wasn’t sure if he should say anything about
that and stepped to the side so she could close the door and
handed her the flowers. “You have a lovely home,” He said
glancing around the front room.
“The wine is already cold, do you want a glass now? Or maybe
you’d like to wait until later?” He really wished he didn’t
sound so nervous or so unsure of himself. What was it about
Sierra that had him all tied up in knots?

Looking at Sean, Sierra couldn't help but blush at his words. He
always was a charmer, clearly, that hadn't changed. When she saw
flowers, Sierra grinned. Sierra embraced him happily before
speaking to him. “You always were my romantic guy.” Her nerves
had worn out already as Sierra became comfortable with Sean's
presence. Heck, she'd agreed to try again, she had to get
comfortable with being with him again. She moved inside to put
the flowers in a vase on the dining room table and pulled out
two wine glasses as she heard Sean's statement.
“Babe, I think you need the wine. You seem nervous. You
shouldn't be nervous, I'm all yours.” Sierra half teased,
smiling as she poured the wine into two glasses and handed one
to Sean while taking a seat on her couch. If Sean could get over
his nerves, Sierra would admit she wanted to kiss him and do
much more with him already. She couldn't help it. Sierra loved
Sean, nothing changed that, and she wanted him desperately.
