Willow was gathering her things after she ate and was walking
out to see the men awfully close again. Sometimes she would seem
to puff up at raphael when he got close..though all at the same
time she blushed a bit. She averted her eyes a bit to hear about
going somewhere and smiled at the idea of going out. She looked
at guy. "mm I wouldn't mind at all." She looked at
herself."er...let me change." she said feeling frumpy now.
"promise it'll only be 10!" she called out to get to her closet.
She dressed a bit nicer, finding a white flowing skirt to go
with the jean like top, with the brown belt about her middle.
She then put on some brown sandals feeling it would be best with
her outfit, and let her hair down to come back out, running
gloss on her mouth."okay!" She knew it would probably be a bit
silly going to an appointment all dressed up..but it was a
lunch..with guy. "lets go." she grabbed his arm to try to him
out before raphael could comment.
Once they were out, she smiled a bit. They had gotten to the
doctors in which she had guy stay in the waiting room. It seemed
to take a bit when she came out and seemed to talk to a male
nurse a bit."yeah..thanks! at 1 right?" The male seemed to smile
and nod.She walked off to get to guy, "sorry bout that they are
going to call the pharmacy so it'll be a while.." She said with
a chuckle."Any thing you need to do? " She asked.

Guy wasn't sure why, but every time Raphael touched or got close
to him his whole body would react strangely. He wasn't about to
say anything about it though. He was firmly under the impression
that he was into women and he didn't need to complicate his life
any more than it already was.
It also hadn't escaped his attention that Raph seemed to know
their schedules almost better than he did. It was as though the
man liked to stay informed on what they were up to and doing.
That could have been creepy if he didn't realize it was because
Raph took his job of protecting them seriously.
He caught Willow averting her eyes from him and Raph and frowned
slightly. Did she think there was something between them? Maybe
he did protest over that a lot, but it was true. He didn't plan
on ever being with a man, even though Raph was an excellent cook
and close friend.
Guy smiled at Willow's words and nodded. "I'm not going anywhere
without you," He told her and moved to sit patiently on a stool
in the kitchen.
Raphael chuckled as he finished cleaning up the kitchen. "So,
I'll keep an eye on the bar and send you updates if there's
anything you need to know,"
Guy blinked. "Uh okay. That works. Thanks." He said before he
got a suspicious thought. "Wait a second, you didn't just say
that I had work off to get me to ask her on a date did you?" He
asked raising an eyebrow.
Raph didn't say a word, though his smug smirk spoke volumes.
"Jeeze Raphael." He groaned a bit annoyed with his friend.
He was all set on telling Willow that Raph had tricked him when
she came out with her hair down her back wearing a gorgeous
dress that accentuated her curves and showed off her long
slender legs. He choked back the words and smiled at her and
stood up. "You look amazing," He told her.
"A total knock out in that dress," Raph agreed. "Go have fun,
enjoy yourselves." He added winking at Guy. "Remember this in
the future," He added.

Guy was tapping the side of the bench he was sitting on in the
waiting room when Willow finished talking to a male nurse and
then moved to join him. When she relayed the information he
nodded.
"That's fine, we don't have anything else going on today. We can
be out all day long if you want. If we are waiting until one
though; we could go walk around the town a bit while we wait."
He suggested

Willow gave a soft smile. "I don't mind a nice walk around the
area.." she said with a soft blush. She actually was liking the
quiet time..though she felt someone missing just a bit. She took
Guy's hand without much thought."well lets go pass the time hm?"
she said with a smile. Once they got out of the place,They went
walking around, Willow didn't seem much into the newer
shops...she entered what looked like a antique type shop, full
of little knick knacks, and more. She smiled a bit looking at
the various things around the area to pick out a necklace, it
was a lovely color being of a soft green, it kind of reminded
her of a dragon's eye and made her smile a bit to pick it up."oh
this one looks really lovely."
Willow held it up so Guy could see."I love coming in stores like
these. I always find the best stuff and necklaces..even a few
old books." she said with a bit of a smile. She bought it with
a leather bracelet that had a metal hole holding it together,
she loved how it looked. She smiled a bit "See anything
interesting?" she asked with a soft smile.

Guy smiled back at her, loving how her face always seemed to
blush when she was around him. He glanced down at her hand as it
slipped into his. He gently wrapped his hand around hers and
held onto it as they walked out of the clinic and around the
town. He wasn't too surprised when Willow led him into an older
antique shop and glanced around slowly. He was just enjoying
himself watching as she perused the shop and looked over all
sorts of trinkets before going to look through the necklaces
near the register.
"That does look rather interesting," He commented leaning in to
look it over. "You should get it."
He nodded at her with a smile. "They are good places to look for
odd trinkets." when she had finished buying her purchases and
moved to ask him if he had seen anything he started to shrug
when a small book in the locked case caught his eye.
"Actually yes, Sir, is the book behind you for sale?" He asked
pointing it out.
The man at the register nodded and moved to unlock it and pulled
on some gloves before bringing the book out so he could look it
over.
"I'll buy it," He decided and paid the price without blinking.
It looked a great deal like a book his Grandmother needed to
complete her collection. He'd been looking for it for several
years now and was surprised that today of all days he'd come
across it. It was as though Willow was his good luck charm. The
clerk wrapped it up and handed it over.
Guy led her out of the shop and checked the time. They still had
a good amount of time before they had to head back to the
clinic. "How about a walk in the park before we head back?" He
asked smiling at her, his hand once again finding hers.

Willow felt his hand in hers this time, she smiled and
blinked."I wouldn't mind seeing the garden." she said with a
chuckle."whats with the book?...it was pretty pricey but you
seemed like you really wanted it....is it something you've been
looking for a long time?" she asked as she held her bag. She was
always curious about older things, she had a few things in a box
stowed away in her closet, she was beginning to feel a bit like
a hoarder, but she couldn't help it...somehow some of those
things just...called to her?

Guy smiled back at Willow, loving the sound of her chuckle. Why
was it every sound she made had him want to be around her even
more? Could he really be falling for her? Was Raphael right?
"Well if you like the park, you will love my grandmother's
amazing garden. That's where I plan on taking you later." He
told her. "Oh, well it's a book my grandmother has been looking
for to complete her collection. I've been trying to help her
find it for the past five years now," He told her. "She will be
so excited that I was able to find it. And in a shop that we
normally would never have thought to look. So thank you for
dragging me in."
It was a rather short walk down the main street before they were
in the park, and looking around the blooming springtime trees
and flowers just popping out. "This is pretty nice," Guy said
taking in a deep breath and checked his watch. "We still have an
hour left. So..tell me a little about yourself. What are some of
your favorite things to do?"

Willow blinked to smile a bit. "about me?...well you already
know what music I like." she said with a chuckle. "I know one
fruit I won't eat is grape fruit, its disgusting." she said
making a face."and I really love dogs..I hope to own a Husky one
day. I know their like scary smart but their so cute and
fluffy." she said with a slight blush. She spoke a bit of her
likes and dislikes, and her fear of spiders, and the story of
how her friend ditched her in the car when a spider came between
them. The girl had left her sprinting across the parking lot.
She laughed a bit her hand near her mouth, her fingers touching
her lips a bit in thought.
Willow took a breath, it was now or never! She had been mulling
it around knowing the policy of the bar, but, that kiss, she
wanted to know how he felt.. and what it meant. At least for
him. Last thing she wanted to do was ruin this good thing..but
she couldn't mull on that kiss forever."Guy?.." she said softly
her face going bright red."....I know the policy..n
everything..." her voice softened a bit in her shy nature of
approaching the subject. She let off a breath and looked at
him."that ki..kiss. did it mean anything?...its been a while and
you haven't mentioned it..." she blinked quietly."..I
a..sorry..I'm not use to doing these type of things." she said
chuckling."but...I think I'm falling for you." she said walking
just a little ahead. It seemed the best way for her to spit it
out without letting him see her bright red face.

Guy grinned at her response. "Well by now I do, since you do
tend to put it on first thing in the morning." He couldn't help
but tease her a bit. At least she didn't listen to just one
style of music or artist, he'd dated someone like that and it
had driven him nuts.
He couldn't help but listen attentively watching her expressions
as they changed with what she was talking about. "Well huskies
have been used to discern between harmful magic and
non-threatening magic, so it wouldn't be a bad idea to get one.
They can also sense when people are more than they seem, so it
may be smart to get one." He said thoughtfully.
He was laughing at her story about the spider in the car. "well
if you ever see a spider just tell me where and I'll save you
from it." He said his eyes following her hand as she touched her
fingers to her lips.
Guy had the feeling that she was thinking something over,
something a bit more personal and looked away for a moment to
glance at some blossoming trees as they continued to walk down
the stone walkway.
"Yes?" He asked looking up at her as she said his name. Her red
face had him realizing what she was about to ask.
Guy moved to take her hands and drew her closer to him after she
had spoken and looked lifted her head to look her in the eyes.
"I care about you, and for you. The kiss was kind of my telling
you that, without words." He admitted. "I meant to talk to you
sooner about it but then everything went crazy and we've been
trying to keep you safe. The last thing I wanted was to add more
for you to think about. I think I'm falling for you too." He
said brushing his hand through her hair and then leaned in to
kiss her softly on the lips.
He pulled away after a few moments. "Screw the policy, I've been
meaning to change it. It's more of a suggestion than a rule," He
said shrugging. "Plus..I'm pretty sure there are a few people at
the bar that are dating or together already. They're just really
discrete about it. I think if we can remain professionals at
work then it will be fine." He said and leaned in to kiss her
again, this time quite a bit longer than the first time.
He finally pulled back and moved to wrap an arm around her waist
and drew her back to walk further into the garden. "So, Willow,
I have a question for you." He said smiling down at her. "Can I
date you?"

Willow felt her hands softly grabbed and the draw near guy. She
was trying to hard, but her poor face was red enough and her
ears were matching at that point. Her eyes widened at his words.
She felt her hair brushed back before feeling his lips, taking
in the moment before he pulled back.
Willow gave a soft chuckle,and felt his lips again against hers,
she felt a slight ache for the man and felt his arm around her
waist her soft look taking him in and smiled at the
question."Its a big yes." she said with a smile. She got a bit
closer to guy and felt a bit lucky."you know raphael will have a
field day with this once he knows we are dating." She said with
a chuckle.
She was taking in the flowers and the beauty of them. Her hand
fingering the necklace that was given for protection. Things
seemed really quiet as of late and she was beginning to wonder
if it was all a false alarm. That it was just some vampire that
she ruffled the feathers of? She blinked a little as she walked
with him.Even if it was...she gained something from it all. She
smiled a little bit. "this garden is very pretty.." she said
looking around.

Guy caught sight of how red poor Willow's face and ears had
gotten as he leaned in to kiss her yet again. Had his words
really affected her that much? He hoped he hadn't spoken too
soon in telling her how he felt. If he had jumped the gun and
scared her he didn't know how he'd react to her saying no to
him.
His eyes shone when she looked up at him softly and smiled at
his question as she gave him her reply. "That makes me really
happy," He said hugging her closely, not really wanting to let
her go just yet. Her next words had him groaning. "Well..I will
just have to deal with it. It's not the worst thing in the
world." He said finally. "If anything he'll say it's about
time. I don't know how, but he somehow picked up on my having
fallen for you the moment he met you. It's kind of uncanny if
you ask me." He said shaking his head.
Guy really was oblivious and had long ago shut away the side of
him that had once been really close to Raphael when he had been
a young teenager. They'd done everything together, and he had
pretty much decided to remember them as best friends and nothing
more. Maybe it was just because he hadn't been ready for how
attached Raph had gotten to him. He didn't even realize that he
had hurt his friend deeply when he had rejected his advances so
quickly.
They were soon walking further into the public garden and taking
in the beautiful view and enjoying their time together. "It is
beautiful," Guy agreed, holding one of her hands in his own as
he looked around taking it all in. "Though not nearly as
beautiful as my grandmother's gardens. You'll love seeing them
and experiencing the mystical atmosphere." He told her with a
grin.
He glanced at his watch after another fifteen minutes of walking
and tugged her to around to go back the way they had come. "If
we head back now we can grab your results and then head off for
our picnic." He said with an eager look.

Raphael couldn't help but feel happy that Willow and Guy were
finally spending some time alone together. He kind of hoped
they'd get closer and realize that they were meant for one
another. He'd seen it the moment he had met Willow and noticed
how protective Guy was of her. Maybe one day, Guy would realize
that Raph loved him more than just a friend would. Of course
with how oblivious and dense the man was, he was pretty sure it
would take awhile until he realized it. He also wasn't sure just
how Willow would react to this or what she would think that he
was also starting to have feelings for her as well.
He finished cleaning up the kitchen and the loft apartment using
a bit of magic and then went to get things ready downstairs
before the staff showed up. Once there he his time in cleaning
up the floor, and the bar top as well. It looked like someone
need to be taught how to properly clean up. He would have to
retrain the staff he supposed.
He was whistling to himself as he worked on cleaning the windows
which seemed to not have been cleaned thoroughly in several
weeks. When he was done the windows were shining and streak
free.
"How did you get them that clean?" a female voice asked in an
incredulous tone from behind him.
He turned around to find Hannah, one of the humans employed by
Guy staring in disbelief at the windows. "A bit of elbow grease
and vinegar," He replied with a grin lighting up his face.
"There's going to be a meeting once the rest of the staff
arrives. Pass the news around, I have a few things to check over
in the office."
Hannah's silver eyes narrowed and she got a slightly annoyed
look on her face. Raphael moved around her and went to wash his
hands before going into the office to look over what was on the
schedule for the day. There was going to be supplies coming in,
as well as stock for behind the bar. So it was going to be a
busy morning. Probably why Hannah was in so early he thought.
She was a rather striking young woman he couldn't help but
think. Not that he would have made a move on her.
After going over the schedule and who would be working, he went
back out to find the staff, save the dishwasher Hidaeki were
there already. He'd give the young man a few more minutes before
he started the meeting. It was a minute til when the young man
cam running in almost out of breath.
"So sorry for being late," the short asian boy apologized as he
caught his breath. "Car broke down a mile out and had to run the
rest of the way here."
Raphael was inclined to believe Hidaeki, what with the kid still
trying to catch his breath.
"You're not late, don't worry about it. I'll go with you to take
a look at your car later. Now then, I think I've met you all
before now but I'll introduce myself again. I"m Raphael
Santiago. I'm a friend of Guy's. we've known each other for
several years. With Ted out and since Guy needed a day off, I'll
be overseeing the bar today. If you need anything just let me
know. We have supplies and a bar shipment coming in today so
that's going to keep us busy before we open. Are there any
questions?"
