Willow softly smiled at his response of him making the first
move, she had a feeling, that things would turn in her favor in
the ways of love.They came upon a small shop that made her smile
a bit, she had a bit of an affinity for small shops, but felt
sad as it looked abandoned..She watched as the blue light shown
of the rune to blink a little to follow him in.
There she saw a council room to sort of gawk for a moment till
she heard her name to snap to attention, as she was ushered to a
chair.But, as she did what anyone would do to look behind
herself to sit, she promptly lost all feeling in her legs at
what she was told, to fall in the chair's seat a bit
hard."s..say what?" She managed to spit out."b..but why would in
the hel.."she paused and calmed down."Why would I become a
target if I'm only half fae?" She asked her brow raising a
little in question."Why would rivals come to me when she didn't
want me in the picture?" She gripped the arm rests a bit hard
feeling a small headache coming on moreso from stress."that is
because despite the fact you do have human blood..you hold quite
an old Heirloom that only first bloods can carry.." She
paused."w..what?" She shrunk a bit in her chair. She had the
heirloom and she lost what was important?The man went to explain
that the relic allowed the user not only wield water magic, but
allowed its user to learn varying magic pertaining to what she
was, almost a boon for knowledge for magic users, but could only
be accessed by fae blood."A..and I..it was stolen." She deflated
and looked at guy with a worried expression.
She tried to catch her breath to wheeze softly and shifting for
her inhaler to take a few breaths."n..not good.." she said
taking another hit, and breathing deeply trying to calm herself
so she wouldn't have an attack.
"
She stared at the blonde man who seemed to freeze a bit at the
sudden reaction, it seemed to take him back a little at her
sudden anger."I..I apologize." She said covering her
face."I..just don't understand." She finished blinking.

Guy hadn't really thought of how the council room might throw
Willow off when she first saw it. He felt a bit bad for not
warning her of where they were going, but there were rules of
what he could and couldn't say.
He moved to stand behind her and laid a hand on her shoulder as
if to reassure her. He felt rather annoyed with how the news had
been relayed to her so abruptly but knew the council wasn't the
type to think too much of how their words might affect people.
He sighed and rubbed his head as the councilman spoke.
It sounded like they really needed to find that locket that had
gone missing. He noticed the horrified looks on the council
members faces when she told them that it had been stolen. "Don't
worry, Raph and I are looking for it. We will find it." He
assured them, rubbing Willow's neck gently before he moved to
kneel next to her. He caught her worried expression. "We will
find it, we may have to ask for some help but we will find that
locket back."
He got concerned when she suddenly started to wheeze and pulled
her inhaler out to help with her breathing. When she had finally
gotten calm enough to breath better, Raph moved to her other
side and looked her over closely.
"You don't need to apologize, it wasn't your fault it was
stolen. I think Ms. Ashton needs some time to wrap her mind
around all this. Do I have your permission in acting in her
defense and keeping her safe?" He asked turning to the council.
"Yes of course, just try to not cause a war between us and the
fae kind. That's the last thing we need." The blonde haired man
told them. "For you Ms. Ashton," The man said moving to hand her
a necklace that appeared to have been carved completely out of
wood. "Wear this at all times, it will protect you from magical
attacks."
Guy took the offered necklace and put it around Willow's neck.
"Thank you Soran. We'll go get to work on tracking down the
locket. Raph will let you know when it's found." He said
standing and helping Willow up and drew her close to him and led
her out.

Willow felt the soothing affect of her neck being rubbed and guy
being reassuring, but never in her life did she feel so
different, then it hit her. Evalyn was related. She almost
didn't register what the council said till she felt the wooden
necklace around her neck. "a..ah Yes." She felt herself being
helped up welcoming the help. some how the comfort of Guy being
so close supported her from losing it completely.
She was quite for the ride to the bar. She needed to sort her
mind out, but she also knew she couldn't just not live her life.
She had bills to pay, and things to get through. She blinked a
bit her head looking at guy as the kiss ran through her mind, a
brief sense of relief and a soft blush touched her cheeks at the
thought for a brief moment. "w..well we better get to work
right?." Said willow with a soft smile, trying to be cheerful
despite how things seemed to her.
Once they arrived she went to her locker and placed her things
inside to lock it. She felt lucky enough to have placed an extra
uniform inside in case of these things to take it and changed in
the bathroom. She smoothed her hair back when Evalyn hit the
door. She stared at the girl who looked back almost studying
Evalyn. Eva made her way seeing how she was reacting unknowing
of their relation.
Willow began working at getting things set up as others arrived,
Evalyn waited in guy's office rubbing her neck a little. She
didn't know what he was planning to do but she hoped she hadn't
jeapordized her job too badly. She blinked a little her legs
crossed over as she waited to see the man.

Guy followed Raph out and got into the back seat of his rented
car and glanced over at Willow during the short drive to the
bar. She still looked a bit frazzled and overwhelmed, not that
he could blame her. In the past few hours she had learned she
was being targeted because of her latent powers, that her mother
was the queen of the seelie court, and that she had a very
powerful talisman that every living fae wanted. It was a lot to
get your mind around, even for him.
He looked over at her, smiling at the blush that crossed her
cheeks and got the feeling that she was remembering their rather
ill timed kiss from before. He ached to kiss her again but held
himself back at her question.
"Yes, we have work to get to. Raph you're going to keep looking
for the locket while we work right?" He asked looking at up at
his friend catching Raph staring back at them with a questioning
look on his face.
"Yes, I do plan on doing that. Finding it is our first priority
after all. Once we find it and get it somewhere safe then we can
all breath easier." Raph replied.
Guy scratched the side of his jaw as he thought about what he
was going to have to do once he stepped into the bar. First off
he was going to have to have to check the security tapes and if
Willow was right in her suspicions he was going to have to fire
Evalynn. He didn't really care for the woman's attitude or
demeanor lately. If the woman could act her age instead of like
lovesick schoolgirl things wouldn't be turning out this way. If
she had intentionally stolen Willow's inhaler so that she'd have
problems that was something he wasn't going to tolerate, no
matter how long the woman had been working for him. It was
completely unacceptable behavior.
"Good idea, We may want to double up on protection tonight," Guy
said shooting a look at Willow. "We'll either stay at Willow's
place or mine."
"Sounds like a good idea," Raph agreed easily and followed them
out of the car. He started searching around the bar in hopes
he'd find some magical signs of where the locket might have gone
or who might have taken it.
Guy immediately went to his office to check the security cameras
and was rather angry and annoyed to see that it had been Evalynn
that had gone through Willow's bag and taken out the inhaler.
Though..there was no sign of her ever taking the locket. So
someone else must have taken it. Still.. He was very pissed that
Evalynn would do such a thing and gave her a call telling her to
report to his office after she clocked in for work.
Then he went out to let the other staff know as they came in
that there was going to be a meeting before work began. He
didn't go into specifics as he didn't want anyone bothering
Willow when he wasn't there with her. He spied Evalynn come in
and went upstairs to change into work clothes and try to cool
off. He really didn't want to lose his temper with her, though
he had the idea that it was definitely a possibility.
He walked quietly into his office an shut the door behind him as
he moved to sit behind his desk and pulled up the video on his
computer. "Come and watch this for a moment," He ordered.
Once the video had finished showing her getting into Willow's
bag and pulling out her inhaler and palming it, he paused the
video and looked up at Evalynn. "I don't really need any
explanation. Stealing from a coworker is enough cause for me to
fire you. Get your things and get out. You are no longer an
employee and I don't want to see you here ever again. Your
thievery not only was wrong, but it endangered Ms. Ashton's
life. This may be neutral ground, but as I own the bar and the
grounds it stands on; I hereby revoke any sanctuary it gave
you."

Willow continued to work with the idea of guy being close at all
times.Sure she knew Raph would be there, but, for some reason
the idea sent a few tingles down her spine. She smiled a bit as
she saw her werewolf of a coworker come up."Hey sugar..need some
help?" Jackie knew there was a meeting, but her senses to tune
into how people felt kicked in, and gave willow a hand on some
things.She talked as cheerfully as possible so willow wouldn't
feel so down.
Meanwhile back in the office Evalynn was staring at the screen
for a moment, and her face slowly turned a bit to
anger."Seriously?" She said at the end. She could handle the
firing but not being able to come to the place at all? "Well
where else can I go Guy? hm?" She asked him. Her hand slammed on
the desk and she scooted his lap top to the side to get to his
eye level."You have no idea how much it sucks to be me! I don't
get much say in how I run my life, yes I took it! but.." Her
face fell a bit. "I just couldn't get over how you seemed to
look at her.." Her hands braced on the desk. "I wish..I had just
a little more freedom..at least you have that..this bar was my
freedom." She said quietly. She frowned at him to whirl around
and slam his door without a second to let him respond. If she
was fired then she didn't need to be in that room no longer, nor
did she feel the need to treat the bar any differently than just
territory with what he said.
She came down seeing willow at work and grabbed her arm."Hey!"
said Jackie."Shut it wolf!" Evalyn snapped back. Willow blinked
a little to pull back and heard."Lets talk while I get my shit
before I get out..may not have a chance to do that again." She
mumbled pulling willow to the lockers. Her necklace didn't react
showing it wasn't meant to be in anyway of an attack so she
complied.
"how...how did you get him to look at you like that..?" Willow
paused at eva's question."I didn't I just am myself." Eva
gripped the locker and grabbed her things."I tried the sweet
innocent part..even then he didn't bother." She walked out
seeing the wolf. She stopped at the door.Her face still
angry."Make note guy..you may of fired and no longer offer
sanctuary...but watch it one day this won't be a sanctuary for
everyone.." She said shoving the door open to slam that behind
her as she left.

Guy didn't react at all to the anger in Evalynn's voice. He knew
better than to think she would have been repentant of trying to
harm Willow. She was a full blooded fae after all. They didn't
regret their actions nor did they apologize for them. However
that wasn't acceptable in his bar or in the sanctuary that had
been established. For her to have tried to harm Willow even
without magic, meant she didn't care about following rules.
"You should have thought about that before you broke a rule of
the sanctuary." He replied dryly, not in the least sorry to see
her go.
He wasn't about to explain to Evalynn that he would never look
at her like Willow because he would never be able to fall for a
cold calculating creature such as herself. Ever since she had
started working for him she'd tried to ensnare him with her
wiles and beauty. A beauty he knew was mostly enchantments and
magic. She was nothing that he wanted in his life.
Especially with who her mother was. He would have been killed if
he had even touched her and knew it. It was a bit strange that
she didn't seem to care about that. Then again she was a selfish
creature only really thinking about herself and her needs. She
would have used Guy once and then tossed him aside the moment
she got bored. Such was the way with the fae.
He watched her go without saying a word, realizing he had
probably just made another enemy for both him and Willow. Then
again, there was no nice way to fire a person. Any way he had
gone about it, the overdramatic fae would have still hated him
and Willow for having caught his eye. He ran a hand through his
hair and stood up and made his way out to the bar to see how the
others were faring.
His eyebrows narrowed when he heard Evalynn's words as she made
her dramatic exit.
"Well..that could have gone better. Raphael, would you up the
protection wards on the place? I have a feeling we may need it."
Raphael nodded, not looking too surprised by the request. If
Evalynn meant what she said, then she was more than likely to
not just target Willow but Guy now as well.
Then Guy turned to look around at the staff that had gathered to
witness Evalynn's angry departure.
"Evalynn was fired because she stole from one of her fellow
workers and was caught on the security camera. She also put them
in danger, so she's not welcome here. If you see her around the
premises please let me or Raph know immediately and we will deal
with her." He announced.
"We should be all right on the tables but if it gets too busy
let me know and I'll lend a hand with waitressing." He said
looking towards Jackie. She was his senior waitress and had been
there the longest. "If we need to hire another waitress then I
can go through the applications we got in and interview a few
this weekend."
Raph moved to stand near Guy and cleared his throat. "We also
need your help in finding a lost locket. We aren't sure if it
was dropped or stolen, so keep an eye out. Willow, can you
describe it so we know what we're looking for?" He asked turning
to look at her.

Willow watched her go in a dramatic fashion, her stomache turned
a little as she listened to guy speak. She didn't know how she
would handle it if she did come back. She hoped someone else
would be the one to run into the female to have that
responsibility.
Jackie had no qualms with eva going, she hated the female anyway
and to see her go left her slightly grinning. It faded quick
when she was addressed."Got it bossman." She said with a wolfish
grin again."but I think we can handle it." She winked a bit her
hand on her hip a bit.
Willow heard her name and she blinked a bit shy like, she wasn't
use to being on the spot about certain things especially when it
came to important things. "I..its a circular one that has an
image of a fairy on it...with a circular design." she said
softly. "it always reminded me of a fairy in front of the moon."
She blinked again and bit her lip. "if anyone finds it I would
be grateful.
The twin elves exchanged looks knowing full well what that
locket was."Yeah we will for sure find it and return it." Said
one. "count on it...guys it is pretty important we find it and
return it to Willow." Said Norah. "last thing we want is waters
to be ruffled and something happening to the human world." Nolan
nodded. "Its also possible the locket may of found somewhere to
hide." He said. "My book does it from time to time when my place
gets broken into..its a safe gaurd..though ah..it could end up
anywhere." He warned.
Willow blinked."enchanted objects can do that?" She asked as
norah smiled."Yeah..especially those that hold specific magics
that can cause more than your atypical minor magics..we call it
destructive..don't worry if its bound to you by blood it can't
be opened by any other." She said. Willow smiled. Oh yeah the
elves are certainly going to be her best friends to turn to on
things like this. She thought.

Guy woke to the sound and smells of Raphael cooking in the
kitchen and got out of bed to get dressed for the day. One good
thing about having his old friend living with him was that the
man knew how to cook. In the past three weeks that he and Willow
had been living with Guy, Raph hadn't missed a chance to cook
breakfast for them. He was likely going to get fat if he didn't
keep up on his workouts. Secretly he thought Raph wanted him to
get fat so that Willow would lose interest in him.
Guy came out into the living room to find the strains of an
Evanescence song starting to play. That was another thing he was
trying to get used to. The new music that was filling his
apartment. He was more of a jazz or rock man himself, but the
music wasn't all that bad, it just took some time to like it.
"Willow must be still getting ready," He murmured as he sat down
at the end of the long counter on a bar stool style chair. "So
what's for breakfast today?" He asked.
"I have made raspberry and cream filled crepes, bacon, and fruit
smoothies," Raphael replied setting a plate in front of him.
"It's almost too beautiful to eat," Guy teased and picked up a
fork and dug in. "Delicious. You really outdo yourself every
morning." He said with a happy moan.
Raph smirked slightly. "So still no luck on finding the locket?
I would have thought that by now someone would have found it.
You have a lot of people looking for it. Maybe we should tell
them to stop looking and see if someone just happens to come
across it. Sometimes magic artifacts will reveal themselves when
no one is seeking them." He said thoughtfully and sat down to
start eating himself.
Guy nodded and then got up to get some coffee from the pot.
"Want some?" He asked as he poured out a mug for both himself
and one for Willow, knowing she would want some.
He thought over the routine that had been established and
wondered if maybe they should change things up. Maybe try some
sort of magical training earlier in the day. It was a relief to
him that when he was busy with work and the in and outs of the
bar that the other staff would quiz her on what she was learning
in the book he had lent her.
Now if he could get Raph to stop with all the odd comments about
him and Willow crushing on one another and using sexual
innuendos when talking to them. If he knew any other wizards as
powerful and as willing to help him protect Willow he would have
called them in to help instead. He got the feeling that he'd
more than likely get stuck with Raph for a long time.
"So, if you and Willow ever feel like getting busy, just let me
know. I can make myself scarce for a night or two. My wards
would be enough to protect you."
Guy about choked on his coffee at that comment and it took him a
moment to catch his breath. "God, you need to stop with that. I
like Willow yes, but right now she doesn't need another
distraction. There's enough going on in her life at the moment."

Willow was showering up her phone playing the music. Her mind
was wandering a little, as she got out to dry and get dressed in
a black tank top and found the most comfortable shorts she
could. She was use to walking around without her pants but now
that there were men around she didn't have that luxury.
Willow came out to go enjoy Raphael's breakfast, something she
became accustomed to. She would try to get up a smidge earlier
at times to make breakfast herself feeling more like a leech
being there. She heard what he said to blush a bit hard and
took a minute before joining the men to eat. She sat down to see
what was to eat and blushed a bit. Seemed Raphael made note of
what she liked best. She picked up her fork and main a soft
noise a bit at it."swear..I think your starting to spoil me
Raph...made all my favorites this morning hm?" She said with a
chuckle to drink her smoothie a bit. She had been going through
a bit of a depression. She would act fine one day, and low the
next, and not so talkative. Willow had alot on her mind, but
what stuck out most was guy. That kiss never left her head and
wondered if he would even really make a move again.
She had been learning a lot more between him, her friends at the
bar, and Raphael. But she had given up on the necklace thinking
it wouldn't be found. She looked at her phone, she had told guy
a day or two before she had a doctors appointment to go to, it
would be a couple of hours before she would go.She double
blinked as a message came up."hm?" She texted back what seemed
to be a message from her father. She blinked and blushed quietly
and texted again. She wasn't sure how to explain her living
situation with her father now that she thought about it. And
given how good looking guy was they would be worse than Raphael
with the comments.
She could already hear her father. "soooo....where's the
grandbabies?" Willow had a dry look as she thought about it. The
last guy she had dated and her father liked had him hounding
her on the idea of marriage at the time, and again when he
assumed her friend who liked men, because of how much he liked
the friend's personality. She wasn't sure how she would handle
it.

Guy looked up when Willow walked into the kitchen and sat down
at the counter next to him and smiled at her blush. He wasn't
sure what to think when she mentioned that Raph had made all her
favorites. Was Raph trying to spoil her and make her like him
more? The thought had his brows narrowing slightly.
Raphael smiled at Willow with a fond look. "You are correct, I
am spoiling you. You deserve to be." He told her as he ate his
own food.
This only had Guy grumble into his cup as he drank down the
smoothie. "I guess you can meet me downstairs in fifteen," He
said moving to load his dishes in the dishwasher.
Raph frowned slightly and then moved to intercept Guy, pulling
him close to whisper in his ear. "She likes you, you should just
kiss her again. I bet she'd love that,"
Guy flinched a bit startled at Raph's insight. He pulled back
from the man feeling oddly uncomfortable. His friend had quite a
few times come on to him and flirted with him so getting advice
and being touched so much made him unsure of what Raph was
thinking of. "Yeah right," He murmured back. He cleared his
throat and then remembered that Willow had a doctor's
appointment which was why she probably was in shorts.
Come to think of it, maybe Raph was right. He hadn't been able
to get that kiss out of his head in the last few weeks.
Maybe..it wouldn't be a bad idea to let her know how he felt. He
mused.
"Guy, I think you forgot you and Willow have the day off. You
should go out and do something fun for a change. Maybe take her
somewhere that's nice." Raph suggested pulling away from him and
shooting Willow a grin. "I bet you'd like to go out and enjoy
yourself right Willow?"
Guy was a bit surprised that Raph had remembered that they
didn't have work and turned to look at Willow and then smiled.
"Maybe you and I could go somewhere after your appointment?
There's a place I've been thinking of taking you, but hadn't
thought of it until now. And then we could go get some lunch."
