Ambrose woke as a sliver of light shown to stretch from his
tent. His head moved to his daughter to see her sleeping still.
Given the events of the day before were feeling it. His masked
face turned to get up and pass his sleeping son that was near
the fire. Luca woke slowly to shift to see his father gathering
his spear.”going to hunt?” Asked the teen. Ambrose
nodded.”indeed I am, watch Isra..” he told him. His tattered
clothes about him showing off the scars of his battles.
The man walked his way to the dune to see a scorpion crawling
and looking big enough for three. His hand gripping the thing as
he moved slow to knock it off the top to watch it roll. Seeing
this he went in to kill it stabbing it to twist the spear. Once
done after a small struggle did he take it back to begin the
       process of getting the meat.
Luca busy with getting the fire up and the water boiling. The
dragon went to the tent to gently shove his sister awake as she
slowly sat up, her soft silver hair a mess of fuzz and sand.
“You’re a mess..” he told Isra. He grabbed her eye tie that was
a soft purple to help her tie it on, before grabbing his that
was red as his tattoo. She came out to see her father cooking to
get close. Her head moving as she watched her father grab some
seasoning from their pack to sniffle herself to wipe her nose
       with her shirt a little.
”little one- get the bread ready.” She heard to nod and smile.
Her hands began to work at that, her hands washed with the water
they had first before working with it. With her brothers help
the hole was dug and with what leaves they collected at the last
       oasis lined it.
“How much further till we reach the big oasis?” Asked Luca as
they covered it properly to bake.
“Just a few days.” Said Ambrose. “Now know we won’t be the only
ones there. Not sure how many dragons will be there.. I know I
saw sir snips there last.. at the time we both were quite
       young..” he murmured.
“But we might even see our kind there.” He said as he recounted
       their history.
The oasis was a place terranians went out of safety long ago..
he caught word that it became a haven for not just anyone.. but
those who went for asylum. From the sound of it - became a place
       of commerce.
“Now let’s get finished we still have to train a little.” He
said as his daughter seemed to perk more awake.”does this mean
you’re going to teach me stone soon?” She asked clearly being
thrilled .Ambrose chuckled.”yes yes.. you’ll learn the
fundamentals.. first “ he told his daughter. She had shown to
catch on quickly to wind and water, her patience was a godsend
either way. The girl wanting to be much like her father. To be
where he was would take real time.. and given their kind- would
live long. He just worried for when it came time for her ‘coming
of age.’ The stones that allowed their growth never did well
with girls as it did with boys. But he knew with his help she’d
be just fine. He just wished his wife was still with them- as it
would have been easier to explain it from her view.
He’d be-able to take the edge off her that he knew. A mark was
on his back, in between his shoulder blades.. a circle with his
tribal mark. It was often meant to help with their tuning in
       their own ways.
Once the food was ready did he make sure the two got enough with
water and ate himself. And as usual Isra who ate what she could
was already racing off, playing. The girl often using her wind
to sky walk, attempting to get birds or more. The girl was high
energy, and tuning seemed to alleviate it. Her swoop movements
showing as her body moved, she clearly using what she was
taught. He started her at the tender age of 10.
Once he had things packed did his son spread his wings to fly up
to snatch his sister.”hey!!!” She said.”it’s time to go!” He
told her to get her back with their father before they began to
       walk to the oasis.
       ------
Life in the desert was often unforgiving, and the past few days
had been no exception. Due to his white hair, Castor was
constantly on the run from the different factions in the home
him and his twin sister had chosen. As a result, the two twins
were separated and injured after an extremely tough fight that
       barely either escaped.
He had no idea where his sister was, but he knew if he didn't
rest soon, he was going to collapse. The tired Naga slithered to
the nearest shady spot he could manage before collapsing into
the sand, looking half dead to any bystanders nearby.
       ----
Ambrose was walking with the pack on as the two seemed to enjoy
their time playing tag around him. The girl ever energetic as
ever and her brother keeping her entertained along the way.
That’s when the girl Isra took notice of a man below a tree.
Her head tilted immediately. To take off on Luca, who in turn
turned himself to grab his sister in mid flight to see a white
haired stranger looking injured.”dad!” Called back
Luca.”someone’s hurt!” He called out as he made his sister keep
       her distance.
“Come on he’s not gonna attack..” Isra said to squirm in her
brothers grip.”stop it- we are in Talutah territory.. they see
you- they’ll snatch you. “ said the teen dragon as Ambrose came
to a stop to drop his pack. The terranian came over to bend over
the man his hand running to a spot on the man’s throat.
“he’s alive.” He said.”Luca fire. And Isra come- time for a
lesson and it’s a good one.” She heard to squirm harder till
she was dropped to come over to her father. The dragon teen made
his sigh before he went to get what wood he saw and got it going
       before boiling water.
“see this wound is particularly bad- while we can heal with
stones we have our limits, they still need to be properly
cleaned.” He told the girl as he cut away the top. He reached in
his pack to get some clean rags and set up an area with a simple
cloth for the man to lay on. Once he was given the water did he
start cleaning the man up, using his alcohol for particularly
bad spots.”when done that’s when you use your stone.” Said
Ambrose. He shown the girl how the wound would slowly heal.”see
it’s good he’s out- normally they’d feel some pain as we heal
the area.” He explained.”any inner bleeding will be for when
you’re older.” He finished as he continued to heal the bad
ones.”also don’t worry about the little scratches.. you will
conserve your tuning that way.” He said as the girl’s head would
move and tilt to how she listened to her father- her brother
       lazily sitting by.
Once finished did they set up the tent around the unconscious
man to give him time to wake up, and all the while the man was
telling his daughter a story as he fed her a snack of dried
       fruits with water.
       -----
A groan emanated from Castor when he woke, stretching and
yawning before realizing he wasn't hurting like he should have
been... and he had somehow managed to get into a tent as well as
his shirt being missing. A look of confusion crossed his
features as he slowly sat up as he felt his body finding all the
major injures he should have had nearly or completely healed.
He could hear a voice outside, telling a story of some kind. It
must have been the one who saved him. The male naga slowly got
to his feet, preferring to stay in human form as the rarity of
his kind made him a target. He laid eyes on the terrians, taking
them in for a long moment. It had been a long time since he had
seen such a being. "Thank you, for... whatever you have done to
help me... I... should get moving, this is Talutah territory.
I'm not sure I managed to put all that much space between myself
and those who attacked me..." He suggested, his body still
exhausted. He needed more rest but also needed to find Nisha.
       --fin--
Luca was napping a little as their father’s story had put him to
sleep part of the way. “So the mighty Illa, faced the red king
with all her might, her red hair blowing in the wind, “ said
Ambrose as he has hit the important part of the story as Isra
seemed immersed.”she took to attack with all her special gifts,
earth, fire, wind, water, plant, ice, and lightning to take him
down… her body moving with the elements in their fight…” he
said.”then in her final act did she become so much more- her
body shifted to that of a pure clear crystal- to seal the evil
god away. but as a sad result she shattered and her powers
scattered to the elements.. they say every 500 years or so..
twins would be born.. and if their hair is red- is the sign that
the hero is back…” he said to finish. He could feel the eyes but
gave the man time to speak. His head moved to the man’s way. “We
are aware, but we are heading to the oasis- you’re better off
coming with us.” Said Ambrose. Isra looked at the man her head
tilting at how he looked. The girl would seem quiet and
reserved.”Isra wake your brother and get the tent packed.” He
told the young girl as she smiled to nod her head to jump in her
       brothers lap.”wake up!” She huffed.
“Are you sure your well- may of healed you- but there is some
limits to what I do.” Said Ambrose to shift for some honey to
hold it out.”this should help with the loss of blood.” He told
       the man with a smile.
       ----
Hearing the man suggest he travel with him brought a look of
concern to Castor. "I... need to find my sister first, we got
separated in the attack..." He explained as he tried to force
himself to continue on. Having survived in the desert for so
long, he had grown used to pushing himself like this.
He paused at the offered honey. He couldn't remember the last
time he had something so sweet. He couldn't resist as his
stomach growled in demand for food. He couldn't help but take
the offered treat, practically scafing it with how hungry he
       was.
"Is this all who is with your troup?" He questioned watching as
the young one went to wake her brother. She was *quite*
energetic. "You seem like you already have your hands full as it
is... I would just slow you down." He added, feeling much better
after eatting the honey before drinking some water.
       ---fin---
“Well then- where was last you seen her?” Asked Ambrose as his
son and daughter ran ahead a little. The teen keeping the young
       girl reeled in.
“And careful.. eat slowly you’re going to get sick.” Said
Ambrose.”yes.. just a small one- we never joined a tribe.” He
told the man. “And it’s fine- our young is often taught tuning
at this age.. winds a staple for all as they often can defend
themselves well.. and you would not- help comes in numbers.”Said
Ambrose.”you can call me Ambrose.. the one sky walking is my
daughter Isra.. the older one my son Luca.” He said and looked
at the man.”what is your name stranger?” He asked.
       —-fin—-
"Before we both took off in different directions in the
attack... I'm sure she is fine... she is the fighter out of the
two of us... My name is Castor... I suppose if you are sure I
wouldn't be a burden... I guess I can join you to the oasis...
at least until I've recovered more..." Castor decided as he
followed after the children with his new companion.
"Where are you traveling from?" He questioned as they started
       off.
       ----
"Her name is Nisha," Castor began before going into detail about
what his sister looked like. "We are twins, but honestly I dont
think we could have been more different," he said, trying to
muse on the positive at the moment.
"I travel from the motherland, the tribe I was a part of was
nomadic so we never stayed in one place for long, traveling the
desert and all. We came from the west of Durante, it has been a
long journey." He said with a sigh.
       --fin--
Ambrose listened to the man speak of Who his sister is and what
she looks like. It seemed like a stark contrast to the man in
front of him. “Be it twins or otherwise one can be quite similar
or different, I do have a few brothers and a sister.. hadn’t
seen them in a few hundred years.. last I remember my sister was
visiting Audora. “ he said with a thought.
He tilted his head at the man’s words and chuckled.”don’t blame
       - most nomadic tribes try to keep the smaller oasis’s alive,
hard to believe though things may change.” He said before he
sensed his daughter to move as a blur went by.”haha! Can’t catch
me.” She said in a sing song voice.
Luca called out.”you almost ran into father again! Watch where
you tune!” He warned.”your just sore cause you can’t catch me!”
       Said Isra.
Ambrose chuckled.”he’s not wrong Isra.. keep tuning like that
you’re going to run into trouble.” He told the girl.
       ——
Abaddon was waking up lazily, wrapped up in the two girls that
stayed close. The pair of redheads had needed it after a nasty
battle. The two looking as if they’d been cut up their tattooed
marks giving them away as terranians.. or what use to be. Illia
and Elara shifted in their sleep as he managed to get out of
       their hold.
The man had gotten up to get to their oasis to fill some water
before boiling it, his eyes giving a far away look till the
water was cool enough to drink. He took a long drink to sigh
       softly.
       -----
The way Ambrose spoke held such wisdom, knowing the man was
hundreds of years old explained why. He had likely seen quite a
lot. "Things have already began to change..." Castor began
before flinching as the girl sped past them, causing the Naga to
       stumble.
His eyes softened as he rightened himself, watching the
energetic girl play. Oh to have the innocence of a child again.
"All the signs are there... the last are gathering at the
oasis..." He murmered as his eyes glazed over for a few moments
causing him to fully stumble forward.
If he wasn't caught, he was going to hit the ground as he began
to pass out, the reptilian man having pushed himself too far
already. That combined with his mind trying to warm him,
increasing the urgency to find his sister.
       ---
It had taken the most drastic and cowardly tactic to not be
killed, Nisha played dead. It wasn't until she was sure she was
alone that she began to pull herself out of the ruble that had
fallen on top of her. Then came the work of dragging herself out
of that battleground. She had the luck of stumbling onto an
oasis and slipped herself into the water in her full Naga form.
Resting her head and chest on the beach knowing she would
       probably bleed out soon.
       ---fin---
Had the young girl listened she might have not gone running
straight into a snare trap that was cleverly disguised and got
yanked up off her feet so she was dangling upside down, her hair
       in her face.
The fear and panic of the young girl hit Noble hard making him
       stumble forwards unexpectedly.
"What's wrong?" Airux asked grabbing his younger brother's arm.
"We caught a person in our trap," Noble replied rubbing his
head. He was just starting to get used to pick up on other
people's thoughts. At first he could only hear Airux's mind.
"How many are there?" Airux asked with a frown, looking wary.
"A few...maybe four?" Noble replied shooting a worried look at
him. "We need that rope, we should go get the kid down,"
Airux let out a long sigh and nodded. "Just no mention of our
gifts. We don't want to chance they're slavers,"
The two quickly made their way down the sand dunes to the lone
tree where they'd set up their trap.
"Sorry about catching you like that kiddo," Noble spoke up as
they approached the group. He gave a friendly grin and climbed
up on Airux's shoulders to get the girl's leg loose. "There ya
go, all better. Next time maybe keep a better eye out,"
Airux was oddly quiet, his gaze assessing the two older men
closely before turning to the tattooed dragon boy.
"Where are you all headed?" He asked curiously as he adjusted
the protective wrap on his head. "We haven't seen that many
travelers around here. Mostly just rovers and those weird
       fanatics."
       ----
Ambrose seemed to agree with castor.”getting worse as we
travel.. the beasties getting bigger.. before long the talutah
will seem like nothing.” He said before sensing something off
about castor. He turned to catch the man.”Luca break time!” He
had called out. The boy that was chasing his sister watched as
she tuned further thank she should have to hear a cry. He raced
as the girl was wriggling terrified a little that she’d been
caught. Isra was a bit terrified till she saw a face. By the
time she was released she looked up at him.”I look out plenty!”
Luca gotten there to pick her up and got her on his back.”see I
told you- your lucky they are friendly!” He told his sister.
Luca saw there were a couple of guys his age his head tilting as
his masked eyes turned back at his father that was attending to
castor.”Eden’s oasis.. a place of safety.” Said the dragon
born.”and you two?” He said as hie carefully assessed the young
ones. Isra that held on for once after the scare. “Beasts are
flooding this way.. best move on or you’ll be facing things
bigger than the norm.. “ said Lucas. “We were going to find that
man’s sister.. but looks like we are taking a break..” he said
to shift his sister a little.”.no more tuning ahead..” he told
her as she nodded to hug her brother. “You two should come
unless you want your last days in the desert.” Said the teen
       walking back.”
       ——-
Abaddon paused when he heard a strange noise. As if someone had
gotten into the water to see a naga female. He sighed seeing the
blood as he didn’t want it to contaminate the water.. though..
the female looked pleasing to his eye. It wasn’t every day you’d
find a naga anymore. His hand slowly slipped to the woman’s neck
to find a faint heart beat.”a struggler… fine fighter..” he
mumbled he pulled her from the water as he yelled
out.”Illia,Elara, come help!” He called out, the two red heads
lazily came out to see the woman.. one red head more naked than
the other. The two went over to inspect the wound.”quite deep…”
mumbled Elara as her green stone flashed on her belt as she
healed the smaller wounds as Illia took the bigger ones, the
woman’s earring holding the green stone. Once she was cleaned up
and healed did they put her in the tent. The three beginning
their preparations to move. Illia didn’t bother with a top, as
she began to get food ready as Elara was sitting and humming a
tune known to her tribe. Abaddon lounged a little as he took in
the sun. The three wearing black eye coverings with trimmings of
gold. They were on their own quest.. and the journey had been a
long one of tracing the steps of the current hero.
       -----
The male naga slumped into Amrosese's arms as his eyes turned to
the white haired man. "Sorry... looks like I'm in too much of a
rush to find Nisha... it seems your little rabbit was caught and
you will be having guests soon..." He mumbled almost a little
       incoherently.
       ---
It was a good hour after being healed that Nisha awoke with a
start, sitting up quickly as she looked around in a panic as if
expecting a flight, hissing at any sign of movement.
       ----
Noble did a flip off of Airux's shoulders and leaned on his
older brother's shoulder while watching the exchange between the
       other two.
Airux shot a look Noble at the dragon boy's question. "We tend
to wander, we don't have a traditional home."
"This Eden sounds interesting," Noble commented.
Both got alarmed looks at the mention of beasts heading their
       way.
"I could help them find the missing lady," Noble suggested,
       shooting a look at Airux.
"Yeah fine...just be careful. I'll get our things," Airux
decided and headed back to their hidden campsite.
Noble caught up to the dragon boy and the made a funny face at
       the younger girl.
"So I'm Noble, what are your names?" He asked with a friendly
       grin.
       -----
Abaddon was minding his business, till he heard movement. Illia
and Elara both stared at the Naga woman with some bit of a look
of contempt with the behavior before Abaddon stepped in.”my my..
what a way to thank the two that healed your wounds..naga.” Said
the man. The man gave a rather intense look. The man looking at
how she hissed and backed up with the three standing near the
       tent.
“we won’t harm you.. but don’t complain if we leave you to fend
       for yourself woman.” Said Abaddon.
Elara had a more soft look.”master please don’t be so harsh..
she was mortally wounded it’s only natural that she be on the
defense.” Said the gentler looking, leggy redhead. Illia made a
small glare.”agreed.. more empathy.. “ said the other more
reserved of the two, and shorter. Their cerulean eyes looked
over the woman before they tied their masks on their faces, both
sporting their eye colors. The two went behind the man.”we are
in Talutah territory no doubt they’d have a field day.. and we
cannot dawdle… “ said the man as the wind started to blow
briskly, kicking up sand causing the man to use his head
covering to shield his mouth and nose, the women’s ties and hair
       blowing with the wind.
Abaddon was fairly clothed in robes that tore with the wind..
while the women wore little. One wore pants in reminiscent of a
belly dancer while the other wore tighter clothes with a cloth
that gave more of an Egyptian look.
       ——-
Ambrose looked at the bags as he spoke about a white rabbit, his
head cocking curiously to what was said.
Meanwhile, just beyond the horizon near some rocks, did Lucas
hear the boy speak of wandering. Lucas heard the one that seemed
not as hard suggest helping as the more self assured one made a
       suggestion of being careful.
Isra made a silent look at Noble at first to giggle at his face-
but unsure if it would be right to give a name. But her brother
offered his own and hers.”I am Luca, this is Isra.. I need to
get back before father worries.” He said as he picked up his
pace.“And it should be father has said it is quite large for
this dry place…” said the dragon to see the man.
Ambrose took notice of his children to notice a boy following.
His head cocked in suprise, to slowly look at castor.”.you have
gift of future sight?” He questioned.
       -----
"I see the signs, and occasionally visions... I was trained as a
Shaman...." Castor answered, his eyes closed as he tried to
ignore the strange images dancing in his mind. "The lost ones
are coming.... they will need your guidance," he rambled a
little longer, far more incoherent for a while longer before
shivering and opening his eyes as the fit seemed to pass.
"We should get moving once the others arrive..." He said softly
       as he looked at Ambrose.
       ---
A look of surprise came to Nisha when her captors showed
themselves, seeming to be savoirs of some form, claiming to not
hurt her, and from the Wan the man and women spoke, seemed to
intend her to following them. The naga wasn't given much time to
consider her options, and decided, at the very least, they had
rescued her and deserved her thanks. "Thank you..." She finally
said after she had shifted her legs and followed the trio as the
wind tore at her clothing, showing of glimpses of her figure
underneath the remaining battle torn cloth. "Who are you three?"
She questioned after a short while.
       -----
"Nice to meet you Luca and Isla," Noble replied with a grin. He
easily followed Luca back to their father and the tall white
       haired man.
Being closer to them had him picking up on some of their
thoughts, making him rub his head. Some of what he picked up had
       him feel wary of them.
"You should cover your head," was the first thing he said eyeing
Castor with a worried look. "white hair is like a beacon to
rovers and slavers. Here, use mine," Noble said, pulling his own
off and offered it to the guy.
"Oh I'm Noble, would it be okay if my brother and I joined you?
He's grabbing our stuff, if we keep going northeast we'll run
       into him,"
       -----
Ambrose listened to the man and the moment of the mention of
shaman realized this man was a naga. His words of warning and
direction he took seriously. “I understand.. feel a bit better?”
       He asked.
His eyes traveled to his daughter who puffed.”Is-ra.” She
corrected. She gave the boy a strange look as he didn’t see the
other two had the same hair as Ambrose gave a smile.”do not
worry about rovers and slavers.. they try they will know pain.”
He said calmly.”I am Ambrose and this is Castor..” he
introduced. Luca spoke up.”there’s another he’s getting their
things right now.” He told his father.
“Just a little longer.. then we must move.” Said Ambrose as he
turned his head to find the person his son told him about.
       ——-
“My name is Abaddon.. this is Illia and Elara.. my travel
companions.. “ said the man to take notice of how much was left
of what the naga was wearing. He pulled off his robed top to
wrap it around her.”keep it on for now.. when we stop we can
find you better clothing. “ he said as he couldn’t help but take
in her cleavage. She certainly was a beautiful woman. “What
brought you way out here.. and that injured?” Asked Illia her
eyes roaming the woman a little as she mentally noted to feed
       her more.

A slight smile came to Castor's lips when Amdrose seemed to
understand what was going on and showed concern for him. "A
little, if I don't indulge in certain rituals the visions can
come on suddenly... it has been a while since I have been able
to. Such is life on the move... " He said as he rested for the
time being. Soon the children arrived with the 'unexpected'
       guest.
The naga made no move as he knew they would be waiting for the
last child. It was when the final kid arrived that Castor tried
to get to his feet, seeming a little more steady.
       ---
A nod of understanding came from Nisha as the man introduced
himself and the two woman. She couldn't help the blush that
crossed her cheeks as Abaddon gave her his cloak to cover up
with. "You are too kind... thank you... I was traveling with my
brother... we are the last of our nomadic tribe as far as we
know... he has white hair so he is naturally a magnet for the
freaks out here... they attacked us... i... don't think he
managed to get away..." She said as he voice got a little soft
and sad at the idea of loosing her twin.
"I am called Nisha," she added, not that they had asked her
name, but they had given her theirs. "How will I be repaying
this kindness you appear to have quite a bit of..." the naga
asked with suspicion in her tone.
       -----
"Isra, Isra, Isra," Noble repeated to get the name settled in
his mind. "I got it now," he said winking at the younger girl.
Ambrose's calm reply had his nerves settling. The man reminded
him of his dead adopted father in many ways.
"Nice to meet you both," he said giving a slight bow of his
       head.
Airux came into sight a few moments later, easily carrying both
their packs and weapons, his shrewd gaze taking in the two adult
       men.
Noble couldn't help but notice how his brother was breathing
heavily and had bound up an arm.
"You run into something Airux?" He asked worry in his voice.
Airux nodded and handed over Noble's things. "save your breath
little brother, we're gonna have to move fast . I ran into a
scouting group of slavers. We're going need to get a move on
       now,"
       -----
Ambrose took note.”once we find safe ground- feel free to do
what you need to.” Said the man. He took notice of the boy
repeating Isra’s name and how she giggled at him.”right.” She
       said with a smile.
Once they had the view of the other boy did Ambrose hear the man
speak of dangers behind.”move it.. if they come I’ll take care
of it.” Said Ambrose. Luca picked up his sister knowing the
drill. They couldn’t often get to him being as quick as he was
in flight.”you two need to listen close.” He told them.”if I say
keep moving- you do it no matter what- and in turn if anything
happens you watch my daughter in turn.” He said. He helped
castor to move as they began, he heard the calls of the men in
the distance as the wind began to kick up as the sign of a dust
storm.. but for him and Isra would be nothing. Their stones
flashed to give path only to them.”we can use this to get away..
not many know of this method..” said Ambrose as he got the boys
       to move.
       ——-
Abaddon listened to give a soft look.”nisha, if you’re unsure we
can look for your brother.. it shouldn’t disrupt our travel too
much..” he started to feel angry eyes of Elara on him.”it won’t
be long- and we will make it..” he told the red head.”do you
have any memories of when you two were together? Like a landmark
such as a tree or a rock.. if not, the suns position?” He asked
       the naga woman.
       ----
A blush came across Castor's cheeks as Amdrose aided him on
moving, he made no protest as he leaned against the man for
support as he tried his best to move faster. The farther the
kids git ahead and the closer the voices got, the more panicked
       Castor began to feel.
"If you stay behind with me it will only put you in danger, I'm
only slowing you down...." He finally protested as he tried to
stop, his legs beginning to give out.
       ---
The compassion of Abaddon was truly taking Nisha off guard as
she was beginning to trust the man. "We were north of the oasis
that you were camped at... there is a pretty grizzly sight there
at the moment... as the fanatics ravaged the place... I could
potentially lead you there... but I wouldn't want to lead you
into danger... that would be a terrible way to repay your
kindness..." Nisha said, trying to hide how tired she felt, she
was barely keeping up with the trio and was beginning to fall
behind as the wind picked up, pushing hard against her. She used
the cloak to protect her face, using it like a shield of sorts
as she tried to continue forward.
       -----
Airux nodded, though he was a bit curious about how the man
would deal with over a dozen fighters on his own.
"We can do that," Airux agreed, and headed off with Noble at his
side. When the sands started whirling the two wrapped their
       faces up to protect them.
It didn't escape their notice that the young girl and her
father were keeping the dust out of theirway.
**"How is she doing that?"** Noble mind spoke to Airux.
**Ask them later, we've got bigger problems. We're going to have
to go aerial, and pick off some of those assholes** Airux
thought back, pulling out his bow and notched an arrow, then
launched himself high into the air and started firing at those
       closest to Castor and Ambrose.
Noble was soon by his side firing away as well. "Get going, we
can hold them off for you!"
       ----
Ambrose lifted castor up and over his shoulder.”not the time to
be a sacrifice.” He told castor as a man launched at him to see
the man get downed by an arrow. He looked up.”you two keep
moving forward!” He called up to see Luca and Isra now airborn.
Another went for him as a stone flashed as his hand went out to
launch the man a good 5 feet away.
Isra was in shock.”how did they do that without tuning.” She
asked as her brother sighed.”not now Isra.” He told her to dodge
the other sides attempts to shoot. The girl seeing an arrow
heading up used her wind tuning to bring it down as the sand got
thicker and they began to lose the pursuers.”get down here!”
Called out Ambrose to the boys and his kids.”it’s about to get
ugly and no doubt their hunkering!” He called out.
       ——-
Illia made a noise.”oh danger won’t phase us..” said the woman
as Abaddon agreed.”we will be fine, but it’s best you be back
with family during this time..” said the man to scoop the naga
up in his arms. “Take a little time off your feet, and if push
comes to shove- we can take care of the fanatics.” He told her
       as they continued their walk.
The two women a little phased by the fact the man took sudden
interest in the naga. It had been them three for almost twenty
years.. since they were ‘fixed’ by Abaddon. The two looking at
each other as they made their way to the oasis.
Once there, it was indeed a grisly scene of mangled bodies and
dead rippers. Abaddon looked around at the scene.”see if you can
find your brother among the dead.” He told her gently.
       ----
A noise of shock and protest came from Castor as he was lifted
over Ambrose's shoulder, getting to feel just how strong the man
was as the guy protected them. The naga couldn't help but cling
to his savior, blushing like crazy as he was carted around as
Ambrose fought, feeling like a weightless ragdoll.
       ---
Given Nisha was covering her face from the harsh wind, she
hadn't noticed how close Abaddon had gotten to her until she
felt him scoop her up into his arms. A dark blush on her cheeks
as he suggested she take time off her feet. She was stiff in his
arms at first, uncertain of being carried like this, but soon
relaxed against his chest as she started to doze off.
The sight of the battlefield she had escaped brought a fresh
frown to the Naga's lips as she was finally let back down. She
moved slowly through the battlefield, kicking over a few bodies
before she found the shaman staff her brother always kept with
him. It was stained with blood.
She reluctantly picked it up and observed a bloody path of where
the man fled. She had now doubt of his death now, seeing the man
as helpless. "I... don't think he made it..." She said softly.
       -----
Airux's eyes flashed at the order but complied after hitting a
few more of the attackers. Having been making decisions for so
long, it wasn't easy giving in to another's command.
Noble followed after his brother, saving his remaining arrows.
They were fast enough to get away from the arrows sent from the
ground. He chuckled when Airux caught one and shot it back at
       the attacker.
       **Nice one,**
**Just keep moving,** Airux sent back, sounding a bit
       frustrated.
Noble and he soon caught up with the siblings and were impressed
by the girl's ability to force the projectiles away. Noble was
quite fascinated and hoped to get a chance to ask about how she
       did it.
Airux didn't seem happy at the order to get out of the sky but
was quickly down, reaching for his blade.
"What exactly is your plan? Fight to the death?"
Noble landed, taking up a defensive stance near his brother. He
could feel the alarm and wariness building in Airux. Just what
did this strange man plan on doing?
       ----
Once the children were out of the sky he got castor to sit.
“Boy.. you know oh so little.” He said as he saw the group.. or
what was left approach. His firm movements shown before the sand
shifted to erupt, they formed hands as two of the remaining five
were snagged. The sound of their bodies breaking and their cries
as the other three realized- they had made a mistake.
Ambrose shifted to chunk the body as one darted in aiming for
one of the boys till he came in to launch him back hard.. the
sickening thud that broke his neck. He shifted again as his
movements seemed wild and brash.. before flames erupted with the
wind he produced as one ran away while the other Caught fire.
The last, a cry came out as lightning would be heard before a
crow would fly in and land on his shoulder.”you need not fear
things with me around.” He told them to help castor up, to throw
him over his shoulder.”let’s get moving though- blood tends to
bring in the carnivores..” said the man as Isra ran close to her
father and Luca trailed behind a little following.
       ——-
Abaddon could feel her feeling stiff, but the moment she relaxed
in his arms did he realize how small she was compared to most
naga. They had reached the battle field as he let her on her
feet. He observed at her face about the idea of her brother
dead.. but he could feel no lingering fear or regret attatched
to the staff.”perhaps.. or not.. let’s follow the stains and be
sure.” He told her to move as he felt for any signs of the man’s
soul.. or body as they walked.
       ----
Worry filled Castor as he was set back on the ground when the
children finally gathered around them. What Ambrose did next had
the Naga's jaw on the ground as he stared, very impressed with
what he just witnessed. Before he could even make a comment
though, Ambrose had thrown Castor back over his shoulder. "Hey!"
He complained but made no effort to struggle.
       ---
When Abaddon countered her thoughts on her brother's death Nisha
looked up at the man with a curious look before nodding her
head. "You are right... I shouldn't give up hope so quickly...."
She said softly as she walked with the man as they followed the
trail of her brothers struggles. Finding more bodies until they
found where the trail of blood ended the next day. "Someone must
have found him.. there is no more blood... or a body..." She
said looking around as the sandstorm had whisked away any
       remaining trail.
       ---fin---
Airux's eyes flashed at being called a boy, but bit his tongue
not wanting to let his anger get the better of him. He felt
Noble brush up against him and relaxed a bit more.
Both froze and stared in shock at the sand formed into hands to
       crush two of the attackers.
"Holy shit!" Noble exclaimed, his eyes going wide.
It only got crazier from there, as they witnessed just what
Ambrose could do. His comment to them had Noble gaping and Airux
giving him a look mixed with wariness and respect.
They waited a moment before following a little behind Luca.
**That was freaking insane! How'd he do all that?** Noble sent
       to his brother.
**Ask him later, he's likely to be asking us questions later
       himself,**
       ----
       -----
The sudden dust storm drove Kyrian from the skies and onto the
ground. He glanced around warily and pulled out his tan cloak to
cover his head and tucked his wings underneath. He didn't need
his bright plumage attracting unnecessary attention.
"Kind of a sudden dust storm," he muttered as he trudged through
the storm several miles before it finally ended.
His sensitive ears picked up voices from several yards away. The
talk of giving up hope and no sign of blood or a body made him
       curious.
He pushed down his wariness and headed towards the voices. He
was a good ten feet away when he raised a hand , calling out to
       the small group.
"I mean you no harm, may I approach?" He asked and pulled his
hood off so they could see his face.
If they weren't friendly he could be in the air in seconds. If
they were, perhaps they'd know the way to the oasis he'd heard
       of.
       ----
       Ambrose chucked at the hey.”honestly I feel if I don’t you’ll
just fall again.” He told the naga as he walked some. Isra
keeping close to dipping back to her brother to climb on his
back. Her face looked at the two boys.”how did you do that- fly
without tuning?” She asked as Luca clicked his tongue.”some fly
by different ways Isra.. don’t be rude.” He told her as she just
turned her head toward.”just wanted to know..” she said and
       frowned.
“Young ones.” Said Ambrose.”how is it your able to fly with such
       accuracy?” Asked the man.
       ——-
Abaddon continued their short walk til they came on no more of a
direction. “Mm.. no sighs of regret, anger, or sadness.. he
might be alive still- perhaps we might run into the man..” mused
the man. Elara sensed something to turn her head to see a
brightly colored feathered of a man. Abaddon looked back.”you
may - if you have questions say it. We are in a middle of a
journey of our own..” he said as Illia came by the man a little.
       -----
A grumble came from Castor as he admitted that the man carrying
him was likely right. "Can you at least carry me like I'm a
personal and not a sack of potatoes?" He questioned as he pouted
a little. He listened to the questions going around and
Ambrose's rather wise answers and questions. He hoped to be able
to have an actual conversation with the man soon, being
constantly saved by the guy didn't leave much room for social
       chatting.
       ---
The way Abaddon spoke puzzled Nisha, but she didn't question the
man. He seemed to hold a wisdom that was beyond her
understanding. She found him fascinating. "If you think so, I
will hold onto the hope you have given me," she mused before a
stranger approached them. She had not seen such bright feathers
in her life. She stayed quiet as Abaddon addressed the man.
       ----
Noble couldn't help but chuckle at Isra's question, though he
wasn't quite sure what tuning was. He shot a look up at Airux
       who looked rather startled.
At Ambrose's inquiry Airux shrugged his shoulders. "We weren't
born with the ability, so probably through exposure to some sort
       of magic,"
"It was probably that cave with the sparkling stones, remember?
We lived there for like 6 months." Noble spoke up and shot a
       look at Airux.
**Should we tell them the other stuff too?**
"Right, had to hide out from a slaver group that got marooned.
There wasn't a way to get around them," Airux replied. **Not
just yet. Don't need to reveal it all at once,**
"What exactly is this tuning you can do?" Noble piped up.
       -----
Kyrian drew closer, loosening his cloak a little, part of his
wings peaking out at the top.
"Thank you, I was wondering if you knew which direction the
oasis Eden is in. I've gotten turned around because of the dust
       storm."
He extended a hand to the dark haired man. "I am Kyrian. What
names do you and your companions go by?" He asked, his eyes
flickering over the two red heads and the other dark haired
female. He got a rather strong sense these people were strong
       and powerful.
       -----
“I would but if I had - I’d feel better having one hand free.”
He told the naga male.”ahhh magic stones- still am studying it
to see his day- quite interesting how pure magic becomes
physical rocks such as that.” He said. He couldn’t sense but
that there was more to the boys to be brought out by a question.
“What I tune is that of the natural elements.. and much like
magic stones they became physical state of being and the ability
to use them as way of focusing.” He told the boy.”while I may
look human but I’m what you call… a terranian.. my strength with
the elements is what I am.. “ he said. “My young one can do the
same, it’s apart of what we are.” He said.
       ———
“Kyrian. I’m abaddon, this is elara and Illia. This stunning
young woman is nisha.. we all go to that oasis- the red heads
and I have business there..” he said and looked over the
brightly colored bird man.”you traveling alone?” He asked.”also
at the moment we are seeking a man that is nisha’s brother as
well.. do you mind if we take our time that way?” He asked.

More grumbled complaints left the now grumpy Naga as he was
carried. Still, he couldn't help but blush at just how
protective the man seemed. The shaman tried to reason that it
was only because he was still recovering the man was acting like
       this.
He tried to focus on what the man was saying to the children. He
had heard stories of the man's race but never met one in person.
He considered asking to be put down for a moment, but then
reason the man would just scoop him back up the moment he slowed
back down so he just accepted his potato sack existence for the
       time being.
       ---
A deep blush colored Nisha's cheeks when Abaddon called her
stunning. It had been quite a long time since anyone had said
such a thing about her. She was so stuck on this that she barely
even heard him ask the man about her brother. She couldn't
figure out *why* the man was being so kind to her.
Her eyes turned to the feathered man and looked him over. "You
wouldn't have happened to seem an injured man... white hair?"
She questioned as she tried to refocus herself from staring at
       Abaddon.
       ----
It seemed Drake could never get things quite right. He had
misjudged how long the tribe would wait for him, and with the
storm and dragging a fresh kill, he was far later than he
expected. He let out a groan of frustration as he tried to find
a place to hunker down until he he could try and catch up.
       -----
A lot of what Ambrose said didn't make much sense to either of
the lost boys. How could magic turn into stones? And how would
       one study such a thing?
His explanation of tuning natural elements made a little more
sense, but left No le with a lot more questions he wanted to
       ask.
"Terranian?" Noble asked, the name sounding oddly familiar to
him. He had a vague memory of one of his dead parents saying
they had come from those people. Could he perhaps tune as well?
Or was his blood too mixed for that?
"I think I've heard of them before. That's pretty cool."
Airux was already thinking ahead, his mind considering what
       they'd be needing to do.
"We should probably get a hunt in before we camp tonight. We're
going to need the food. Noble and I have a little to share, but
       won't last long,"
       ----
Kyrian glanced around the group, taking in each face that went
       with their names.
"Nice to meet you all ," he replied with a slight bow of his
       head to each.
Hearing that they were headed to his destination was a relief.
"Ah yes I am. I haven't had anyone for a long time. It's why I
       was drawn to your voices."
"Bye all means, we should look for him. If he was wounded or
caught in the dust storm it may be harder to track him down. It
drove me from the skies. Once I can get the sand out of my
feathers, I could scout for him,"
Kyrian pulled his cloak off, and spread his wings wide and shook
them as best as he could.
"Which direction should I go first?"
       ------
The smell of fresh blood woke the slumbering naga, his eyes
flashing as he uncoiled his long tail.
He cautiously made his way out of his hidden den, his ears
adjusting to pick up sounds around him. The unmistakable sound
of a groan had him stiffen and reach for the dagger on his belt.
Someone was on close to his hidden entrance. For a moment he
considered how to deal with them. An outright attack would be
acceptable, unless this being had abilities he couldn't counter.
And ignoring them wasn't a good idea either.
Armin shifted his tail into legs and grabbed a kilt on,
grumbling a bit about being disturbed and used his secret side
tunnel to sneak out and get a better look at the interloper.
Seeing the young human had him pausing and then sliding down
the side of the sand dune.
"Got caught by a sand storm?" He called out, and smiled, trying
to appear as nonthreatening as he could. "If you need somewhere
to rest until morning, i don't mind sharing. I'm Armin, what do
       you want to be called?"
       -----
Ambrose heard noble’s question to blink a bit at his face. “We
are a people that formed from the elements.. or what remained of
it when the gods created the sky, lands, and seas.” Said the
man.”thanks to it we tend to naturally gravitate to using the
elements around us.. of course depending on circumstances our
strongest element comes out.” He told the boy.”for me it’s been
wind.. for Isra it’s fire- it’ll be an eventual time when she
can train with it.. but being one of the dangerous elements must
wait till she’s a little older.” He said. “Oh? Not many do..
technically if this wasn’t happening I’d be enjoying my life in
secret.. “ said Ambrose as they walked.”it’s best to lay a camp
then we can hunt.. I have a young girl that needs watching.. and
I can take you with me boy.” He said to look at Airux.
       ——-
“I see.. “ said abaddon, “thank you kindly nisha- would you mind
telling him your brothers looks? Sometimes eyes to the skies
work.. I could air walk- but even I have my limits..” he mused.
Illia looked over the male.”least we got another man in the
group.. keep in mind we normally pile to sleep..” said the
woman.”so hope your not shy.” She said to chuckle.
The three glad to know the two that joined them would give a
sense of normalcy..abaddon saw this as reforming his tribe..
that he longed to have again. Of course despite how he was now..
was just a front for how he really was, though the naga was
looking more appealing the further they went- and if there was a
male naga.. even better to gain the future sight.. even if it
       was just moments before.
       ----
By the time the group decided to settle into camp, Castor was
more than ready to be put down. He was more than happy to stay
at camp and watch the young girl while the others hunted. He
decided while the others where out, she could entertain her with
telling her all about the ritual he needed to preform. Shifting
into his Naga form and having her help him gather up what he
would need from the dessert near the camp before showing her how
to make the ritual circle he needed with a stick in the sand.
"I do this to focus my psychic energy to see the future more
clearly, if you ask me a question, I could tell you the possible
future, like what the boys might come back with for dinner."
Castor suggested as he booped the child's nose as his long body
was coiled in a circle around the ritual circle and child. He
stabbed his new staff made of ancient driftwood the child had
       managed to find.
       ---
It took a moment for Nisha to compose herself and turned her
attention fully to the gorgeous angel. The way his feathers
glistened in the evening sun looked... *delicious*. She could
never decide if she would rather try to eat some beings or sleep
with them. She gave the man a brief description of her brother,
looking over his wings as she spoke.
       ----
When a voice called out from the dunes, Drake couldn't help but
pause and look in the direction of the dark haired male. He
concentrated his wind tuneing as the stones one his belt glowed
to explaind the bubble of safety around the stranger.
"Unfortunately, think I may have been turned around...." He
       answered.
       ---
The storm had both aided in Syrax's escape, but also pulled her
from the sky when the wing go bad enough driving the dragon out
of the sky to crash land. A broken arm and leg on her right side
where she landed seemed to be the reward for her close escape.
"They are right behind me," she told herself as she shifted to
her human form, no longer able to move properly as she found a
rock outcrop to shield her from the wind.
       ---fin---
Noble was quite amazed and entranced by what Ambrose told them
about Terrarians. It took him back to the old stories he'd been
told as a child by his grandfather.
"That's amazing. I kind of vaguely remember my grandfather
talking about those sorts of things. I don't really remember all
that much though, seems like a lifetime ago,"
Airux was silent, a feeling of uncertainty and jealousy going
through him. What if Noble chose this man over him? They'd both
lost a lot already and he didn't really want to lose his
brother. They might not be related, but that didn't matter to
       him.
"All right," Airux agreed with Ambrose's plan, realizing that
the guy being carried and the young girl would need a safe spot
to wait. "Noble can stick close to camp and keep an eye out.
That will keep anyone from sneaking up on Isra and...what's his
       name,"
"Sounds good to me," Noble agreed with a grin.
It didn't take long to find a good area to set up a makeshift
camp with so many hands working. Noble gave a few of his arrows
to Airux for hunting and then started a sweep of the camp's
       perimeter.
Airux left with Ambrose and Luca, finding the tracks of a desert
hare not too far from the camp. "One won't go that far, but if
we track it to it's den, there's bound to be more."
       ------
Abaddon's mention of air walking had Kyrian's eyes widen
slightly. "I've heard of your kind and how you tune different
elements. I hadn't realized any were still around though,"
The stares he was getting from the women boosted his ego and had
him sweep a hand through his hair. "I'm used to the practice,
though sleeping on my back isn't all that easy. I do better on
top," he said with a wink at Illia. "Me shy? Not in the
slightest," he couldn't help but flirt with the gorgeous red
       head.
He could feel Nisha's predatory like gaze and regarded her
closely. There was an exotic elegance to the woman that appealed
to him immensely. Hell everyone, even Abaddon were sexy to
Kyrian. He was sure sooner or later they'd be having a great
       deal of fun together.
"White hair should be easy to see, even from afar," he said
after Nisha gave him a description of her brother Castor. "When
the sun starts setting I'll try and find you again. If you
whistle or sing it'll help me find you faster," he advised
before taking off into the sky.
It was hours later when he finally spied a white spot on a rocky
surface and dove down to check it out closer. Seeing it was a
young girl had his heart sink.
"Poor thing, must have lost her people in the storm," he
murmured and moved to land above her. "Child, are you okay?" He
       asked gently shaking her.
       ------
       -----
Armin froze at the odd sensation of being closed off from the
elements. There was much more to the young man than he had
       realized.
"It happens to us all," he replied and moved in closer. "This
way," he added and led the teen around to the hidden entrance
and traced over several stones which had the stone door swing
slowly open. "I'm Armin, what's your name young one? Would you
like something to drink? We can work on your kill together if
       you'd like," he offered.
Armin led the teen into his cavern home and regarded him closely
as he got earth wear glasses and filled them up from his water
       barrel.
"If you don't want to tell me your real name I understand. I can
keep calling you young one if you prefer,"
       -----
“His name is castor.” Said Ambrose. “Oh.. so that means you must
have terranian in you.. can sense the fact you can tune as
well.. if you wish.” Said the man with a warm smile. He could
see the other seemed rather preoccupied and emotional. He knew
he would need time for that. He agreed for it as he Luca and
Airux got ready to hunt.Once they got the camp set up and the
young girl settled did they head out.”Luca be careful- but get
enough.” He told the dragon as he nodded to shift into a full
       red dragon to peel off.
“Now young man..” said Ambrose.”care to show me how you hunt?”
He asked as he took notice of a small creature.”.might set up
       some snares too..” he mused.
       ——-
“We in theory are dying out.” He said as he walked, Illia giving
a chuckle to earn a small look from Abaddon as much as he did
for nisha. The woman just smirked.”good- you’re gonna see *a
lot* of things..” flirted the woman back. He watched as the man
went to the skies to wait for word. “Let’s rest and break for
water.” He said as he got the water bottle to hold it out for
       nisha.”drink..” he said softly.
       ----
Luca was on his own hunt when his eye went down to see what
looked like a bird man and a female. He shifted to his human
form as to not startle the man to land. His head cocked to the
side.”who are you?” Asked Luca as he moved to the young girl
checking her over.”… better bring her to dad..” he said with a
mused tone. He hadn’t seen another dragon before.. but the smell
to him off her told him she was like him. His mask drifted
back.”do you know her?” He asked the brightly feathered man.
       -----
Once Illia was done flirting, the feathered snack flew off in
search of Nisha's brother before Abaddon suggested they take a
break for water, before almost immediately offering his bottle
to the Naga instructing her to drink. She couldn't help but look
away with a fresh blush as she accepted the water and took a
good long drink from it before offering it back. "Thank you,"
she said, still not wanting to look the handsome man in the
face, she was quite unused to anyone having this kind of affect
       on her.
       ----
The young dragon flinched when she heard something land above
her, she then felt something shaking her, asking if she was
okay. The sudden movement earned a pained groan out of her as
she opened her eyes to she a winged man. Then there was another
male that approached. From the smell, another dragon like
       herself.
"You... you aren't bringing me.... ah... anywhere...." Syrax
protested weakly as she tried to pull away from the two, but she
was far too weak to fight off a hare, let alone two men.
       ---
When the stranger suggested he follow, Drake nodded in agreement
and followed after him. "I am called Drake, something to drink
would be great. I would appreciate the help in getting this
taken care of." The young Terianan answered.
It didn't take them long to reach the cavern the man called
home. "You live here all on your own?" He questioned as his
       masked eyes looked around.
       --fin--
Airux could practically feel the excitement coming from Noble
when Ambrose told him he'd be able to tune himself.
Seeing Luca shifting into a red dragon had Airux's eyes widen.
It was more than a little impressive. He took a deep breath and
refocused on the task at hand.
"I'm not too much of a talker when I hunt, so keep that in
mind," Airux replied and began following the tracks in the sand.
Because it was after the storm, they were easy to spy and
follow. He came to a stop upwind of the desert rabbit's burrow
and pulled out several snares, setting them near the trail.
Once that was done he moved further away, searching for signs of
other prey they could hunt down. "There's some desert fowl
feathers," he pointed out. "They're probably not too far off.
Probably in those rocky areas," he whispered softly.
He was missing Noble and being able to converse without talking.
It made hunting so much easier.
       -----
The girls responding groan and opening of her eyes relieved
Kyrian a great deal. Though from the look of her, she had to be
       hurting.
Kyrian was far too concerned to hear the approach of anyone and
jerked at the voice seemingly coming out of nowhere.
"I should ask you the same thing," he said staring at the teen
with a suspicious look. "Kyrian is my name, and yours?" He let
the teen check her over more closely and shook his head. "I was
searching for another, a man with white hair and blue eyes. Goes
by the name Castor. I spied her from above and thought it might
       be him," Kyrian explained.
"We want to help you child, you are hurt. Here now, calm down,
you're safe now. I won't let anyone hurt you," Kyrian said in a
soothing voice before gathering her in his strong arms. "Is your
       father a healer boy?"
       ----
"I'm glad to help," Armin replied.
He handed over the water and let out a long sigh at Drake's
question. "Yes, I've been alone for far too long. Do you have
family that you got separated from?"

Lucas got concerned as he checked her over to frown at the man
before him for collecting her.”easy.. lot of movement is bad for
her body.. and being she is what I am- my father can help her.”
He said. “As for the man you’re seeking he is with us.. he was
quite injured and healed. We were looking for his sister.” He
told the man.”come.. if you were seeking him means you know
where she is? While father heals you can bring her to us.” He
       told the brightly feathered adult.
       ——
Abaddon watched her blush to look away to grin a little.”of
course.. being as hot it is.. water is very important..” he said
to grin. “What is your goal once you find your brother?” He
questioned as his head tilted. His masked eyes roaming clearly
as his face moved over her body.
       ----
"I'm fine!" Syrax sputtered out in protest as she tried to
squirm in the bird man's arms but only managed to make herself
flinch before she finally relented. Not that she really had a
choice, she was too hurt to resist them from taking her wherever
       they pleased.
       ---
The blush did not improve as Nisha clocked Abaddon looking her
over. "Goal is to survive... I dream of someday reuniting the
survivors of my clan... but most are dead or lost... it is a
fantasy at this point. All I can hope for is the last shred of
my family is still alone... as helpless as he is... he is still
my brother..." She said as she started off into the direction
       Kyrian had gone.
"What of you? What is your goal once you have satisfied this
urge to help me?" Nisha questioned as she found a seat on a
       large nearby rock.
       ---
"I guess they would technically be family... I have a tribe that
I have been traveling with... I unfortunately find myself to be
rather unattached... I have yet to find my place as it were," he
explained as the pair got refreshed with water before getting to
       work on butchering the kill.
       ---fin---
Kyrian could understand the other's concern, but a little
discomfort wouldn't kill the child. "the sooner she gets help
the better, I'll be careful with her," Kyrian reassured Luca.
He kept a hold of the squirming girl despite her protests.
Kyrian could tell she wasn't being completely honest about how
       much pain she was in.
He was rather pleased to hear Castor had been found and was
doing well. "Yes, she's the one that gave me his description.
Good idea, where is your father? The sooner this one gets
healed, the sooner we can reunite the siblings."
He was soon following the dragon boy, making sure his movements
weren't too jarring to the young girl.
       -----
Airux had managed to catch several of the desert fowl and the
desert hares when a huge shadow blurred out the sun. He drew
back into a defensive position, grabbing his knife and stared in
shock at what looked like an angel landed in front of him and
       Ambrose.
"What the hell are you?" He breathed out in shock.
Kyrian stared down at the tattooed teen with an almost bored
expression. "Celestial and Auradon if you must know. This one
needs to be healed, mind taking her?" Kyrian said turning to
Ambrose. "How far is your camp Luca? I'll go get Castor's sister
and bring her and the others."
       ----
Armin made a thoughtful sound as Drake explained his situation
       he was in.
"You're welcome to stay with me for as long as you'd like. I was
thinking of going to find this Oasis I've heard of. Just been
busy collecting supplies before I leave,"
Between the two of them they got the boy's kill skinned and cut
up. "I can get most of this smoked, but we can have some for
       dinner too." He suggested.
       ----
Luca got worried when she squirmed.”don’t worry you’ll be right
as rain soon.” He told the girl. “This way..” he told the man to
       lead them back.
Ambrose watched the boy do his work to smile a little.”your
quite good at this- self taught?” He asked before seeing the
blur of a shadow .his masked eyes looked over the man that held
the girl. Ambrose heard the man’s words.”Luca show him.Airux
let’s go.” He said to take the few bigger kills he had to get
back as he had the feathered creature lay her in a tent.”your
sister was found.” He told castor.”Luca be with the man, so he
can have a way to look so he doesn’t get turned around.” He said
as he began to work on the girl gently.”stay still- just going
to mend the worse of things and treat the others..” he told the
girl.”what is your name? Mine is Ambrose…”
       ——-
Abaddon listened as Nisha spoke about her clan. He felt for her
on that aspect as he felt his were long gone.”travel to the
oasis- to.. have a talk with the current hero.” He said.”then
maybe rebuild my own tribe.. they were decimated quite some time
ago.” He said as he leaned back.A huff came out of the young
dragon girl as she was laid down in the tent, making a point to
not speak to any of them and attempted to nit make a sound. She
couldn't helped the grunts and groans of pain though. She gave
Ambrose a glare when he walked in, looking away from him when he
       explained what he would do.
"I don't need anyone's help! My parents will find me soon and
*they* can take care of me," Syrax growled in answer rather than
giving her name, going quiet again when she felt him begin to
heal her broken limbs getting cried of pain out of her.
Castor had already gathered what Ambrose might need when the
group returned to camp, having foreseen the new arrivals in his
ritual he let Isra watch. He couldn't help but be delighted that
he would soon be reunited with his sister. He hoped she was
doing okay. "Do you need anything else Ambrose?" He questioned
as the smile fell from his lips at what their newest arrival
said. The pain in her voice told of loss. The way she spoke of
her parents, he had doubts they were still among the living.
       ---
"What kind of tribe do you plan on creating? My previous clan
was quite.... destruction focused..." Nisha mused, her eyes
running over the lounging man. "You mentioned, when we stopped
you might have a change of clothes for me? These torn rags are
doing about nothing but barely hanging on." She added when she
saw a piece of her wardrobe break off and drift away with a
particularly strong wind, exposing one of her breast and
sighing. She wasn't exactly shy but she also liked her clothing
       to stay in one piece.
       ---
A grin drifted across Drake's lips at the offer to stay here
with the man and mentioning heading to the oasis. "That is where
the tribe was headed! Can regroup with them if we can make it."
He said rather excited about the potential of being at the
       oasis.
"I'm good with having some for dinner, I can help you get it
smoked and packed away with the supplies. I... hope you don't
mind me jumping in with helping with the preparations, I don't
like being idle," he said with a blush, worried he might be
       overstepping.
       ---fin---
Ambrose could hear the loss in her voice and his mouth softened
a bit.”I’m sure they are… but I know as any parent would- that
my child is healthy and better.” He told her gently. He knew it
would hit her hard once she accepted the fact her parents were
       gone.
Ambrose smiled.”my medical pack and some water. He said as he
saw his daughter already digging for one.
Ambrose turned back to the girl.”it’ll hurt for a little while..
you need to rest for sure..” he soothed.
       ——
Abaddon blinked at nishas words.”oh clothes yes..” he mused to
catch an eyeful of the breast.”Elara you have a top for her?” He
called knowing for a fact she was the only one that bothered to
wear one. She dug to find that and fabric to tie around the
woman’s waist.”for me, it’s more or less the same- but wishing
the shape the world to more what we want it to be. Being
terranians once the end comes- rather it happen-course there is
one that is keeping all safe for a new beginnings.. though-
there are some I do feel need to die off.” He said simply.
“Nagas though I feel should be the ones to move on..” he mused.
       —fin—
Silent tears streamed down Syrax's cheeks as she looked away
from the adult, biting back the pain the healing process
invoked. She at least stopped resisting at least, realizing the
fatherly adult didn't seem to want to hurt her. Once able to,
the young dragon moved to face away from the adults in the tent,
curling up into a tight ball as she tried to stop herself from
       crying.
The male Naga gave a sympathetic look to the child as he gave
Ambrose what he had asked for before moving to leave, "she needs
time..." She told the man before he went to locate Isra, he
wanted to make sure the child stayed out of trouble, he was
already growing quite attached to her.
       ---
When provided with cloth to cover herself with, Nisha stripped
out of what remained of her clothing and wrapped herself up in
the new dress, or what she made pass for a dress with the way
she draped it. The Naga then settled next to Abaddon and looked
up at the man as he spoke of wanting the end to come to pass.
"I see," Nisha mused, relaxing more now that she felt she had a
better feel for the man, she was finding herself quite drawn to
him, though she reasoned it was just the attention he had been
giving her. She was pretty and new, he would likely get bored of
her quickly, though it was comforting to know he felt her kind
should be one to move on in the new beginnings.
       ----
Airux shook his head at Ambrose. "My father taught me most of
what I know. He passed a good five years ago though. So it's
just been Noble and me since,"
Airux wasn't quite sure what to make of the brightly colored
angel and his blunt tone of voice. He relaxed a bit though when
he realized the guy was in a hurry to reunite Castor with his
       sister.
He gave Ambrose a nod and they were soon heading back to the
camp. He found Noble and they got to work on cleaning up the
kills so they could cook them up.
"Do we really need to clean them all?" Noble asked with a frown.
"There's going to be more people showing up soon. Ambrose has a
young girl that needs healing and an angel guy is bringing more
back with him. They're likely to be hungry by the time they get
       here,"
Noble looked a bit intrigued by the idea of an angel guy and
more people joining. He knew that Airux probably wasn't all that
happy to be around so many people. If the two of them, Airux
usually preferred it only being the two of them.
       ----
Once Kyrian had handed the young girl over and he motioned for
Luca to follow after him. Then he took off back towards where
       he'd left the other group.
They arrived a quick flight later and Kyrian landed a few feet
from where the group had settled to wait.
"I found not only Castor, but a group of others that helped him.
This is one of them..Luca...correct? They're not too far, but
it'll take longer on foot." Kyrian informed the others. "We
should head out before we lose the light,"
       ------
It seemed fate had brought Drake to his doorstep so he could
help reunite the young man with his family.
"Oh We will make it," Armin assured the teen with a smile. "I
don't mind mind having a helpful hand with finishing up with
preparations. It'll mean we can leave earlier. It'll be nice
having a companion, I've been alone for far too long." Armin
admitted. "Why don't you tell me more about your family while we
       work?" He suggested.
       -----
Ambrose gave a gentle look at the young girl. Seeing her ball
up and trying to not cry simply nodded at castor. His daughter
had went outside after doing what she was asked to tune near the
sands. Her masked eyes looking back at the man that approached
to see castor. “Is she okay?” She asked slowly.
Meanwhile- Ambrose simply rubbed the girls back. It reminded of
how almost similarly of how he found his son. He knew words
wouldn’t fix this - and she would hurt for a long time.
Luca flew with the angel and landed with the angel like creature
as his own masked eyes looked around at the group- he gave a
soft nod to see Nisha who looked tired.”his names castor- he’s
been looking for you.” Said the teen dragon as Abaddon blinked
and his eyes went a bit wide.
       —-
Abaddon couldn’t help but feel this woman was familiar. It
touched something in him- like a faint memory of a woman with a
child, he shook his head a bit to give a soft smile. Her soft
smile making his mind run along more of familiarity.
His need to see the end sated by just her face- and feeling that
reluctance was starting to set in- his head moved at the arrival
of the angel like creature.. with a young teen dragon. A flash
would cross his face faintly- of a battle.. blood, and *nisha’s*
face trying to comfort him. He held his head as he tried to not
give into the swarms of memories that were beginning to plague
him… and more or less the sight of Amon- he did feel like he
lost a lot or some gone missing.. but never to the point of
       tears.
