       Starting a forum for the family

       This was very much easier than I thought...
       The 'create a forum' options include a totally free hosting of
       the forum, no doubt to be supported by advertising. But we have
       a forum all our own and we can open up subjects within the
       categories I have started.
       At this stage we have this category - 'General Discussion', and
       we have a category for discussion of Meetings, one I've called
       'Caring Cousins' after prompting from Caitlyn in which those
       involved in the caring professions can come together, a category
       for opportunities made available to us and, finally, a category
       where we can simply post about loved ones we have lost.
       At this stage everyone is free to post what they will. No doubt
       there will come a time when moderation will be required and when
       that happens I'll confer with others about who can do that. If
       anyone wants another category opened up, please let me know and
       I'll set that up. But if it can fit under the 'General
       Discussion' banner you simply select 'New Topic' and start a
       thread about your pet subject.
       Welcome one and all, I think many will prefer this to Facebook
       but please bear in mind, until such time as it's a decision of
       the family it will operate alongside the Facebook page.
