Hi graphics peeps, I just found out that we can have a banner on
this forum :D. Maybe someone should make a COOL banner xD

In this case, I don't think it requires much art skill. More of
an artistic eye. If you think about the shape of the banner
while bringing up a nice crack of dawn image from Minetest, then
you can hit f12 and then crop the image and adjust the
dimensions. I don't know what the banner options are, but if it
is a changing banner, then take a lot of snapshots. Get on some
of the creative servers and snapshot skylines. :)

I will put a couple of examples of the sort of thing that I
think could be cropped up as screen shots on the regular forum
under general discussion/post your screen shots. Feel free to
use them or laugh at them.

Yeah, I saw that the other day. I figure I'll have the current
banner until later today, or maybe tomorrow, when I can find
enough time to use the flaming offtopic one :D

It is a pity that we are so short on download space or I would
be submitting stuff directly. The again, having an excuse to
point people here is not such a bad thing. I like the thought of
having more than one banner and even having banners that are
seasonal.
Ideally, if it is possible, having several banners swap out can
be a pretty cool effect. As an example,

[/img] rotates out to different
banner images.
Narf!! The banner at toolmakingart used to rotate out every time
you refreshed or went there. Now it appears to change every ten
or so seconds. Great, now I have to go look at the code and
decide if I want to fix the problem.
