Hello fellow enthusiasts!

Hi, my name is Nate, I'm 24 and live in small town Nebraska. I'm
new to the forums and just looking to learn about all sorts of
stuff involving military firearms and was led to this place. I
will admit, I don't know a whole lot of anything regarding these
fine pieces of history but am extremely interested in learning a
thing or two from all of you guys/gals on here. What little
knowledge I have is in relation to the AR-15/M16 and how it's
design came to fruition. Thank you folks for having such a great
place to talk firearms and I look forward to meeting everyone!

Hey man, glad to see you made it here. It's pretty slow right
now, but things will pick up as there is a purge going on in
another big forum right now that's going to end with a lot of
people shifting over here where there are minimal rules and
regulations you have to worry about. Welcome aboard!

I doubt anyone over there is leaving. It is to great of a
resource full of knowledge and experience. I belong to multiple
forums. Each has their own place and charm. I like the people
here too, that is why I joined, but I'm not leaving any of my
other forums because I have joined a new one.

Never said that people are going to leave because they joined a
new one, just saying people are being randomly targeted and
might spend more time elsewhere (not necessarily here) due to
that. I still read some posts on GB, I just won't post anymore
due to the constant hounding and following.
