A buddy's Finned 1898 Izhevsk M91, WWF marked

A local friend of mine is letting me take photos of his
collection a little bit at a time since he doesn't post photos
online himself. His collection is amazing, mostly com-bloc
semi-autos with some mosins sprinkled in. He picked of this
Austrian WWF, Finned Izhevsk M91 from a grey blanket gun broker
auction back before the price madness hit.
Walnut stock, well used, great looking example. I like two-tone
stock/handguard combos for some reason.
I keep trying to get him to trade but he won't bite. I need a
pre-1900 Izhevsk, when I find one I'll have an 1800s dated
example from the four original arsenals.

Thanks for sharing the pics, you don't run across the WWF
arsenal mark too often.

Heavily pitted with a crisp WWF. Laid in a trench for a while
before the Austrians picked it up maybe?
