Romanian Instructie '42 Izhevsk 91/30

Made a trek a few hours south with my fiance today to meet up
with some collector friends at a show and to visit with her
brother for a while. Picked up some good stuff while I was
there. Bear with me, I know these photos look like I took them
with a potato. But I wanted to share and the weather isn't
cooperating for outside photos. I will take some asap.
I have not broke this rifle down yet. 1942 Izhevsk,
interestingly it has refurb stamps on the barrel. Well used
after refurb I would say. Decent bore, solid pre-war stock. Only
the butt plate matches, and it's a force match.
Here's where it gets interesting. The rifle is a Romanian
Instructie rifle, basically a reserve rifle to be issued to
reservists etc. in case of an invasion. Instructie 91/30s are
extremely uncommon when compared to m44 and m91 examples. I
picked up one of those too, pics in another thread. :D This
rifle is stamped INSTRUCTIE on the left side of the butt, and
has a band of red paint circling the stock. On the other side is
INST in large white letters. There is also what appears to be a
rack number painted on the left side of the butt. The rifle has
very little bluing left, and the front handguard endcap is
missing. I consider myself luck to have been offered this rifle,
and my thanks to the seller for giving me the oppotunity to grab
it. I also picked up a non-refurbed 91/30 bayonet with no serial
number, and a Romanian two-piece m91 stock that I don't think
has ever been installed on a rifle. The seller stated it was
purchased directly from Century two decades ago and the
magazine/trigger guard area isn't totally inletted. This is the
first 91/30 Instructie that I have personally seen for sale in
my short time of collecting. Thanks for looking, and like I
said, better pics ASAP.
