I did. Worried I might be wrong but I'm like 99% sure he was
selling an m91 as pgaplayerless. Since you can see the names of
the bidders what is his winning name? I'm thinking hes trying
to add credible feedback to his own shill account?

lame. I costs what 3 dollars to start a gunbroker acct? Or was

Yeah, I'm pretty sure he is planning on swapping that Panshin
sight onto his transitional 91/30 too. He is back tracking on
it, but I wouldn't put it past the asshole to do it.

I see he's really mega edited. Wonder if he knows that the
Spanish put a ton of that style sight on rifles as replacements
for post and globes. Its almost as if they preferred them. per

exactly the same, but it seems that at least 1 arsenal was
really into putting front sights on other than the post and
globe style. Or (pure speculation) maybe the Soviets shipp a
batch without front sights? It seems to me that about a
third(speculation) of the Spanish 91/30s have replacement front
sights. Ted spelled "sight" wrong :o

The Soviets were the only ones that really liked the globe
sites. Finland made their own blade front sights. I think, for
the most part, Spain just harvested them off other rifles. They
would have been more used to the Spanish Mauser front blade
sight.......Compare?

Damn, I know this is amongst us down here in the saloon; but
half this thread should really be on the Mosin forum.....too bad
it was bitching about pga's thread that set this in motion.

Personally I'm cool with moving it up there even with me
dragging his not so good name through the mud. Its really shady
to me that he says he made his brother get his own account and
is boosting his feedback. That is like saying "I'll sell you a
rock from the garden behind the shed if you leave me positive
feedback. " I think either of those accounts should be avoided
when seen as sellers. I sent Dan Hilsdorf a message to * his
SCW records next to the rifle in question so we can see if it
show up with the same sight or a different one. I am anyhow.
I'll bet we see it on GB or armslist at some point.

Yeah, anything he is selling would be suspect to me too; but
this is Mike's call here. (ps, I'm glad you made Dan aware of
this particular incident; as I don't really think he has been
around a lot lately to the point that he knows who PGA is.
