Type 53 Albanian Import Traits and Feautures.

Since nobody seemed to give a crap elsewhere, maybe some will
here.
So far I've got six out of the newest batch. All have rough
stocks. Two have stock carvings. None have matching bolts. Four
out of six have the mysterious two digit number on the trigger
guard. Five out of six have Pristine bores. Two out of six have
Soviet Izhevsk marked bolts. None have cleaning rods.
This is just my collection, and I will be taking pics, but since
the topic was brought up already, I figured we could consolidate
all of the fragments in to one thread.
Post any weird, unusual, unique things from your recent import
Type 53 and let's see what we can come up with.

I love stock trench art. Do any of them have serial numbered
stocks? I have my '37 Tula 91/30 that I suspect was an import
from Albania and the stock serial stamping is very similar to
many other examples from Albania. I'm posting my Vietnam
bring-back in another thread. It also has a numbered stock which
is common on 1960 T53s I guess, but it's non-matching.

How many were from Fleet Farm, and how many were those century U
fix ems? Which features did the Fleet farm ones have VS the
ufixems?

My first one with the Izhevsk bolt and the "RD" stock carving
was from FF. The rest (I think) were from Century. Not really
much variation in them. Same batch I would guess.

I probably should too Mat. My problem is I maintain a very small
collection and only really go after individual rifles that
individually really talk to me. I really need to get over that
shit and just order some "what you get, is what you get" from
places like AIM or Classic; but I just can't do it. I'm to
freaking anal about my firearms, and feel I have to pick them
all out individually. Shit, even my first Mosin I ever bought at
Cabela's (before I knew crap about the rifles) I hand picked (a
1942 Izhevsk non the less LOL) based on condition, no line outs
or EP, and stamp matching numbers.

I still need a 53 to finish the m44 collection. Have all the
others but no 53. The other m44s were just there though. kind of
accidental collecting. ;) More of a long rifle person mostly.
