High serial numbered Balkan NEW, teaser pics

I met with a member on one of the forums today and brought home
a Balkan New that he had been holding for me for a long time.
Instead of shipping, figured I'd grab it next time we hit a few
guns shops together.
From what I've been told, this rifles serial number falls into
the tail end of the contract rifles actually delivered to
Russia. The Russian stock is decent, nice bore, really good
trigger. The metal had a lot of light rust at some point that
was cleaned up before re-blue somewhere in its service life. No
pinecones, but it has a gearwheel stamp, an F serial number
suffix, and the rear sight wedge. The crest was scrubbed, and a
tiny odd stamp added there. I took a few quick photos for now
but was freezing my balls off and figured I'd get better ones
after our move this week.

Double SA marked bore brush. Love it.

Nope. It came from the land of spax and 54r man. A friend of
mine in Ohio got it in a group buy a while ago. I bought it then
and he held it until his next visit for me. I'm returning the
favor bigtime. I found a NEW, matching, us marked, original
stock in great shape, fir about 1/2 price. I still couldn't
afford it right now. I put him and the seller in contact,
hopefully they work something out
